& i am still waiting for mrs slocums ***** cat bounce. but you are all doing very, very well.
'Like all share there is only so far a share will be allowed to drop.'
LoL, I like the idea of an elastic bounce and hope mrs slocums nicker elastic can take the strain. I wouldnt want to be within 2 light years of a 'slocum horizon event'
TerryMC1.....yes this share over the last few years has been a pain...big divs but big sp losses...
Toli, thank you. You missed the recent div, but you got it lower than the ex div price on the day, so your investment looks good to me. Theoretically, when the share goes 'cum' div, we see an uptick , maybe LoL
Interesting main MMs have 74.5 in level 2 so maybe we see 77 or 78 shortly cum div.
Is VOD is all 'corporate and business development strategy speak' or will there be executed deals. Today, JPM on board with Spain so the corporate speak is its not just a UK merger one trick pony. There is enough time for JPM to present the BoD with Spain options before reporting H1 and guiding outlook. €4Bn was mentioned previously for Spain, but I think thats a discounted number..
^-^
Like all share there is only so far a share will be allowed to drop.
All shares are allowed to drop to zero in my experience .
Good luck
The key MMs have sell prices of .74.5
Like all shares there is only so far a share will be allowed to drop.
results were excellent and the yield is tremendous.
Any cut would be factored in.
Time to buy in dyor
i know i started it with the cat thing but it's getting a bit like "mrs slocombe's *****" on here now. for the youngsters here who don't know, mrs slocombe was a character in a poor british sit com some years back. danielh will remember it i'm sure, no offence meant dh.
Jax, why not 50%?
Have you sold yet or are you happy to loose another 25%?
You already promised us 60p a few weeks ago. We are still waiting..........
When this turd was £1 you would’ve got laughed at if you said this’ll be over 25% down in a few weeks.
Now I’m saying this’ll be 25% down in a few weeks.
Rate increase tomorrow won't help either.. and it's inevitable with current inflation
Perhaps Gary would be kind enough to give his wife's cat's Email address to Gutter, so they can have a nice chat together.
This is brilliant! https://www.vdigitalassetbroker.com/
I'm sorry Gutter having a very bad week over here. It's the metal plate in my head, I think it's moved a bit.
Gary69 - There's no need to be unkind.
What sort of cat have you got?
Like wise I just did.
Either way, the acceleration in core inflation leaves the UK looking increasingly like the global outlier and the 'stagflation nation'," said chief UK economist Paul Dales; Reuters. Brexit the axxhole gift that just keeps on giving. Sterling tanking again this morning, behaving like a 3rd world currency, bleak, U.K. doomed.
I just filtered out all the usual doom and gloomers on here. Only seeing 50% of the posts now.
Good luck all…Makes you wonder why people that clearly don’t have VOD shares, would bother to post constant negativity.
They likely all have their own wee agendas 😂
Gutter - And there we have it, he won’t be telling us what he thinks anymore.
Well, we’ll all miss this incisive, accurate, worthwhile input from a complete p ratt who doesn’t understand the very basics of stock investing & who is so unaware of showing what a tool he is when he posts.
My wife’s cat has a better grasp of things.
"But probably most of the market red after that inflation shocker "
---
Good for those who can afford sitting on debt as money loses value. As for VOD, higher inflation leads to real value of net debt dropping. Again, pundits are missing the elephant in the room; Vod's issued bonds have fixed rates attached to them, while they can adjust their prices in tandem and above the rate of inflation. What all this mean is more cash poring in and less expenses to be paid, especially now that they are laying off portion of the workforce.
As mentioned 5 to 7% declines weekly
Should be gone before the year end.
But probably most of the market red after that inflation shocker
Rip off Britain - this country is a joke to the rest of the world
AI can't accomplish much without a solid IoT platform. Here is another good article about Vod's position in this space: https://www.telecomtv.com/content/digital-platforms-services/is-the-economy-of-things-a-new-telco-revenue-opportunity-vodafone-thinks-so-47628/
