I was in a very similar situation, made small profit on investment and collected dividends since 2023. I pulled out completely after recent earnings. Not saying it was good or bad, time will tell. But I decided a while ago when the price hits the point where I am around break even I am out. I try to be disciplined that way.

Mole why do you think GBP will decline vs USD? I think current US admin wants dollar weaker so they can export more. Maybe not much weaker, but nonetheless.

Candidbloke, are retail investors good samaritans? Everyone wants to make profit/be better off so we are all selfish. No one really cares about BT, only about their own pockets..

FB depends what you mean by effective. When the price rises demand exceed supply so the less shares available the more pressure on price to go up. It’s more efficient to buyback low because it’s cheap, but arguably buying when price goes up may create a stronger catalyst to add to the momentum.

I think the best case scenario is slight increase in revenue, mediocre profit.

I am quietly hoping I can get out at around break even + dividends I collected during this time. The price would have to reach around 80p for that to happen however so it ain’t happening soon. Once I do I will never look at this junk ever again, I have learnt my lesson 😕
