Itβs gonna be up, but it could be down
120p please
This forum is surreal, with all the gloom and a minstrel called GutterSnipe, it could be good story for a movie π
Btw anybody knows if they started cutting those 11k or so jobs? that was the plan if I recall
Robleo, maybe it was HL's 1 yr projection haha
Funny I just logged in to my HL account and Vod is there but says cannot be traded and my Vod shares have no worth. Almost got a heart attack π
Enjoy your weekend everyone, next week itβs 120p
I think the only pain right now is debt, hopefully they'll work to reduce it. Otherwise, I am expecting good news in the mid-term.
N.b. Vodafone P/E ratio is ludicrous compared to industry average, quick google: "The Telecom Services industry has a total of 56 stocks, with a combined market cap of $1,090.49 billion, total revenue of $882.67 billion and a weighted average PE ratio of 16.36". Vodafone's P/E is under 2. They need to improve cash flow, and having seen Mucic - who is in charge of Vod's finance - take a plunge such as this, is very encouraging. He has a high degree of confidence they can pull if off.
120p please
I am very encouraged about Vodafone going forward. Luka Mucic is not just some dude out of nowhere, he has a solid track record in a German multinational SAP SE (btw his last name ending closely resembles Erginbilgic - good sign in itself :-)) . He joined in September 2023, and after a few months he decided to invest a large amount in company shares, so he must be quite confident in Vodafone's future himself. I am buying my popcorn and waiting for a nice turnaround.
120p for me please
Itβs interesting Unite is against the merger, I wonder why really
I love the fact that so many investors participate here, this in itself is a proof Vodafone is a hot stock
I am optimistic about the future
Shal1000 I concur, when insider is buying it is one of the good signs in my book. Share buyback is another, although dividend cut is a bad one..
In terms of CFO I don't think he is worrying right now, short term price moves are bound to happen. In my opinion CFO estimates that the price is somewhere near its bottom where it is going to stay or move up from.
He believes the price will improve in the long term, trying to perfectly time the market is not easy so unless you are day trading is not as important.
Existing customers are usually treated less favourably
Elon could fork out 44 billion for Twitter π
I'll stick to my 120p until it happens :-)
I don't get what is the benefit of this merger with Three. They should stay focused on shedding the problems and sorting out their own system, and not acquiring more garbage, at least at the moment. Acquisitions require a lot of work and attention.
