it must be overreaction
why would UK market be so sensitive to US CPI movements?
knock knock
ATrades as far as I know it is called an uncrossing trade, and it means that a number of buyers and sellers match at certain price point at the end of a session. It may be multiple traders even though it looks as a single transaction
retirment I probably contributed to your decision not to go all in, but believe me I was just looking out for you, I didn't want you to risk too much
I am not arguing any side, but just wanted to ask: is it possible that a person who has experienced health issues themselves may be a good health deputy/minister, because of that experience?
noticed over 80mln volume, but so far when looking at the summary chart volume bought and sold add up to around 30mln..
Mike is it true? Come clean.
wait guys, are you suggesting RRinvestor could be Mike? Is it possible to have multiple accounts here?
Well to some extent there is method to the madness here. If the shares' value keeps dropping and you bet on it dropping further, then you can risk selling at the current price and buying it back at a lower price (or another stock you think is at its lower point)
If we look at the charts, RR share is almost at its lowest level it has been over the past year or so. Purely from statistical point of view there is a good chance it will go up very soon.
don't do it retirment, I hope you are not being serious. it's a lottery and technically you could lose everything. swim close to the shore.
Government is not a business. BT has to re-invest in order to stay competitive, and they need to keep some money to survive in case things go wrong for a while. They cannot spend their entire profit on salaries. When government agrees to pay more to public sector staff they will either borrow the money (increase public debt) or increase taxes on private companies - and ultimately their workforce (including BT). The worst thing they can do is print more money to cover the expenses as this triggers inflation.
Stock market is pretty much a lottery.. there are only two types of news that are relatively safe bets: takeover bid or bankruptcy, usually when they are announced the share price follows accordingly. Anything else is a gamble.
Good point fleccy, there is no equity, football is a great example. Ronaldo gets paid several times over more than many other footballers who - potentially - put more work than him, but are simply less skilled or have less media attention. For instance I googled Scott McTominay from Man U who is paid "only" £20k per week, it's peanuts compared to Ronaldo's salary. Is it fair? Should all other footballers go on strike? After all they all do the same job.
DBS1 when you ask someone to keep their opinion to themselves and in the same sentence voice your own opinion on multiple subjects it doesn't sound too convincing does it?
Putin is a monster and I am not suggesting he is better than BJ as a human, but he certainly seems smarter. He is a very clever monster.
I read yesterday that Gazprom hit massive profit delivering over £5 billion to Putin as tax, so yeah, sanctions are working well lol
the situation must be dire if even Red Inky thinks SP will be up :-)
Putin must be laughing his pants off at this sh*t show, and it's not even winter yet..
