Nothing to worry about here Heid. I very much look forward to the next news also with great anticipation.
Oh good, so am I. The wait is exciting and not much longer.
I am happy with the price after watching a few drops today across other shares with not so nice news. ( feel sorry )
Ans there is us with what could be the biggest onshore oil and gas find.
Now.. what a wait that is .. well worth it.
Heid...tell me about it. In SXX.
Feel really sorry for a lot of the people in there who are potentially going to be in a right state if it's not dug out. Hope this one comes through.
I don't think it will turn out as badly there as many fear. Might, of course.
hope you're right milnrow. it's alright in that there Milnrow, quite nice.
I must admit I don’t have much knowledge of SXX and it’s history but a few people have eluded to it on here and in somewhat comparing it with UJO. I’ve gone and read a few RNS’s but can’t see how this would go the same way. Apart from the obvious with the location and it being O & G, am I missing something? Not being flippant but probably more ignorant of SXX. Would be nice to get others thoughts on this
I just had a look at sxx and then there was matd today.
We must only invest what we can afford, a drop really is not nice at all.
But I see this all as a journey and it is the destination that counts.
I hope all of those on a loss today eventually come good.
ALLN, I don't think there is any comparison. SXX project is absolutely massive and unless UJO are thinking of getting billions on the tick it should be ok.
Thanks gonz, the figures in comparison are worlds apart. I know where I stand here and I’m happy with the destination. Just got to figure out when to get off.
Sirius explored for, found and appraised an onshore potash deposit in North Yorks. So, it has some similarity to the Rathin JV , with West Newton. Unfortunately when it came to financing the development of the potash mine, board hubris took over and they thought the money markets would be an easy touch without bringing in partners.. They weren't and Sirius has run out of finance options part way through the development .
I expect the partners at West Newton will sell the lot to someone with enough muscle to fund the development. If they don't, and start bigging up the idea of development by themselves, that will be a red flag.
Thanks Secret, I’m sure DB has alluded to selling it rather than trying to develop it.
ALL - I think that's a problem we'd all love to have! Good luck
Lol gonz, I’m way ahead of myself but do have a good feeling about this.
Maybe NOT a RED flag. If world oil prices rise as a result of the current Saudi situation and the oil gushes from West Newton that could be a lot of wonger for development costs?? Yes??
When are we expecting the oil to start gushing from WN, before we get carried away with the prospect of an oil shortage?
It is crazy to compare SXX with UJO?
Who started this thread? You need help mate.
UJO have news dropping from MULTIPLE sources, RIGHT ABOUT NOW!
SXX have just got news that they are NOT allowed to dig potash out of the moors in Yorkshire.
SXX I feel sorry for holders, I really do.
UJO to quote Ginge , VIVA!
GLA TAF. X
AJames and Ninetails, the infrastructure is already in place.
The OIL WILL be gushing soon.
It really will be a quick turn a round from here.
I hope you guys do well in UKOG, I really do.
I as have many, have sold to get in here.
GLA Holders. TAF. X
100% Oiler87, we will never produce from WN, that is a fact!
Our license will be sold and we will all be rich, way before then.
Anyone who does not understand that, needs a new finacial advisor.
Or maybe it is best for them not to invest (or post) in the AIM market at all.
Found it!
It was "gonzalez5000"
I really am sorry for your loss in SXX, yes the Yorkshire moors ARE full of potash.
You are not allowed to extract it though.
UJO have a license to extract SO MUCH OIL I have ran out of fingers haha!
Ginge, Viva UJO. X
Pboo--Whilst I respect your right to post where you like, I , lik some other, do find it strange that you keep posting on here if you are not invested. I now do not post on UKOG I cannot see the point in keep posting negative posts on a site you really have no interest??
TAF-
"It is crazy to compare SXX with UJO?

No, I mentioned SXX as Heid had mentioned she was sorry for people who had lost out yesterday. "ALLNothing" asked for any comparisons with UJO and I replied that there were none.
Regards Gonz.
And yet, the UK is now a net importer of Gas, I know, because I’m working on a new gas field in Norway that will supply 5% UK demand
Only going on what the companies RNS's says
"Prior to the drilling of the West Newton A-2 well, a Competent Person`s Report compiled by Deloitte, had a Best Estimate Contingent Resource of 189 Bcf of gas equivalent. Volume expectations will initially be updated following further core and log analysis, then again following the extended well test."
Gonzalez where does it say it cannot be extracted?

Thank you
