Being an avid reader but never posting. I'm wondering if any on here remember kalbari. Upon reflection much of what he posted appears to have come to fruition. I used to read with amusement " Padmasters" little ditties, calling him out as an imposter. And the not so amusing abuse, from the likes of " Copperpot" and Co. They know who they were, names escape me. I seem to remember him selling at 39p. Not bad for an imposter. I expect many now, me included, wish we had heeded, his wisdom. Instead we still wait after many years, for that illusive take over. Having watched our fortunes dwindle.
guymac, not sure whether yours was a loaded question or a genuine one.
You don't trade SOLG on technicals, you trade it on events (e.g. a takeover, a new find, the BFS, ec.) or you traded it on value (e.g. the future value in the ground being monetized).
Fibonacci works to an extent but the timing is tricky, Elliott waves less so. The other technicals (Bollinger, RSI, etc.) are just good for the short term if you want to trade the share, but as many have experienced, it's not an easy science given the lack of liquidity and the event-driven nature of SOLG's price movements.
That's my take anyway.....good luck with your money
Must have seen the code 1 buy lol!!:):)
Obviously your confident at this level Ray.
Few tops ups for me...
DM, because we've appointed them to conduct a specific process and have announced it to the market. Inter alia it establishes channels to the company.i.e everything will go through the advisors.
RK, at this stage there's no need for a hostile bid.
guymac...heres an opinion...
In that case don't bother buying...and risk missing out, like flyinghigher, dave the horse and anon...
That doesn't apply to hostile bidders addickt
What news are you hoping the company will release, Red? It almost sounds like you are suggesting the company should choose when to release market-sensitive information?
Take that chart and bin it...
Cheers.
Hi - I am new to this chat and am hoping someone can help me understand the purpose of this chat room. Are we hoping someone has some inside information or are we all expressing opinions? All I can see is people saying prayers and trying to talk SOLG up. Technically, in a 2 year view, SOLG is approaching a sell point on both Bollinger Bands and CCI. I am not trying to talk it down but am just saying "technically we are approaching a sell". Is there any other counter evidence?
One other thing to bear in mind is that interested parties will have signed a confidentiality agreement and will now be insiders. As such, they can't buy shares.
RK, as it stands, there's no need for any interested party to do anything in the market i.e buy shares.
We are in a formal review process and if anyone's interested in bidding they'll be talking to either Citi or Maxit.
Red, thanks for update re xib position.
Jeezo just walk past and smile :-)
Stop this desperation please.
Stop watching it like a hawk, the energy you're putting out there is one of lack and neediness..
Read the serenity prayer and acknowledge you have no control over what happens with a bid or no bid. What you do have control over is being invested.
Transit pick up dashboard Jack Russell personality is obviously the prevailing personality this morning !
If ever we needed a positive RNS to keep the momentum going it is now.
Far too often on the past the company has failed to produce news when the SP needs it to keep progressing. That is especially true now as we need to break 20p convincingly.
It occurs to me that we are unlikely to see a TR1 from any prospective bidder, because with takeover conviction in the market that would cause the price to spike, thereby forcing a higher opening bid from said buyer.
However, this wouldn't stop a prospective bidder without a position here from acquiring up to 2.9%.
Or indeed, Jiangxi increasing Valuestone's holding up to 2.9% as they have not been required to consolidate that into their own holding.
As to XIB, until there is a short holding update, there is the possibility that part of the recent strength was due to them starting to close their position. After all at 0.5% its only 15 million shares.
Gurufocus says theres no short interest.
FINRA says 4,332,883
However the FCA daily sheet shows 0.59% (or c17.7 million shares) as at 31 March, which is good...because they have to close it some time...
What's ridiculous DBW is people being supportive of rac.ists and women haters and people who constantly post extreme right wing propaganda.
Dbw, I think it's fair to say we have done what we can to create that tension and we have to be patient now.
We are hear after all the battles along the way and now just a waiting game to see who blinks first.
Best to try and ignore the noise from our usual suspects no matter what name they login under.
Gl matey
Indeed …. May we’ll be right
Just think it’s rich that those spouting the ridiculous notion of us taking this to production “with Solgold holding the reins” are so quick to ridicule.
What we have is with a fortune all we need is to create some competitive tension … then you never know
Copper im guessing slightly up or down.
I'd like to see a bit of pressure put on the XIB short position and make them sweat a bit .
Dbw, my opinion matters as much here as it does at home buddy.
Don't think we should trample on bubbles dream though ?
Who knows he could even be right :-)
Morning Smick
Honestly which is more likely
£1.32 per share
Or taking this to production?
Nice quiet board today...
ALGOs pushed it up to 19.66 early doors and then down to 19.08...
Holding up quite nicely. RSI quite high, so we may consolidate above 19p without news. A quiet week in markets next week and closed from this Friday until Tuesday...
