Sean is desperate for a sale as he needs 32p to retire and as you can see that is nowhere near happening and extremely unlikely as Solg have been ripe for a takeover since BHP took a stake many many years ago. Add NCM’s recent news only makes that even less likely until their situation is sorted out which will be quite a while.
BHP does not get out manoeuvred very often and no reason to think they will here.
Add political uncertainty into the mix and nothing will be happening here for a long time…………..
However that will not stop DBW et al….fantasising about a sale……..
Don.t know about packaged up. stitched up more like.
Looks like more dilution to me. this won't help the share price recover.
Sean, do you think today's RNS is us being 'packaged up'? How do you feel this makes solg more appealing to a buyer than we were, say, yesterday?
Addict. Your right mate. No offence meant.
Just amusing myself really. Probably need to get out more
Thanks for putting me right frugal man.
I honestly thought it was a dark room with a white sheet on the wall and a projector.
Well that's us fully parcelled up and ready for a sale now. We're making it as clear as daylight and probably can't do any more to make our intentions plain.
Of course this can smack of desperation and backfire, but I'm hoping it will lure out a cheeky lowball stalking horse offer that will spark a bidding war.
As always all we can do is be patient and wait. We've nailed our colours to the mast. Only one way forward now if at all. Bit all or nothing for some people I'd imagine but the alternative doesn't bear thinking about.
Sire, he was taking the pish.
Google "ideals" for an example of a virtual data room provider
Needalife, surely the "data room" isn't literal? More likely you sign NDA's then get access to some files online
Happy to be proven wrong... but as in many cases in business, its often a pretty dumb setup behind the scenes
I can't believe people are flying all over the world to get to some room closely guarded by secret agents to view some paperwork detailing metallurgy, construction plans, government contracts or whatever
Thought so …. Thanks Add
Also, I'm wondering about the logistics. According to posters on here, there are several companies that have access to the data room.
Do they all go in together. How bigs the room. Do they have a rosta. How long do they get each. Maybe all these potential buyers get along. In witch case they could all go on the same bus.
Just wondering, any enlightening answers would be appreciated
The Shares will be allotted and issued from time to time to satisfy the exercise of options over Ordinary Shares, which were exchanged, in connection with the acquisition of Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. (Cornerstone), for options granted by Cornerstone over its ordinary shares to certain of its directors, employees and consultants.
How many options had cornerstone promised and to whom- anyone got the list? Assume they will be exercised at the same conversion as before. Will this number of shares cover these options, or will we be doing more printing?
Addict. Do you have any data as to when solg put cascabel into mothballs.
It's just that I'm thinking nothing new, data wise has gone into the data room now for many weeks.
So any potential buyers who can access the data room, have now got and have had for Many weeks any and all data that was available pre mothball days. And certainly will not get anymore updates. So assuming I'm correct, how much longer do you think they will do due diligence, before making a decision. That's assuming solg come up with a more efficient way of mining. A better way than the last way.
Dbw. Ref your post yesterday.
"Agreed you never get the best price if you put a for sale sign in the window"
Do you seriously believe anyone who's anyone, hasn't known for years solg is for sale.
Jeeeeez, theyve been up for sale for as long as you've been spouting your daily diatribe.
Problem is nobody wants them at mathers price.
Post less and research more, might be an idea for you
DBW, yes, the shares are counted as existing shares in issue. And yes, they would be cancelled in the event of a takeover.
Add …… Am I right in thinking
The shares “In treasury “ are a bonus as it means we could technically raise again without further dilution as no new shares would need creating.
Also in the event I’d a bid could these shares be cancelled thus increasing the value of remaining stock?
My own take is that the eventual owner will take up this stock at a premium to the share price as a pre cursor to an initial bid.
As always all we can do is speculate until news is released
Am I alone in feeling that is like shuffling deckchairs on a ship grounded high and dry on a remote beach?
Of course addicknt.
Sorry not thinking to well this morning.
Bad nights sleep as just too hot last few days.
Q, the 25m are not options, they are existing SOLG shares. As SC said, there's no current need to sell them, although they are available if needs must.
Good morning Monochrome, these options are to allow the CGP options that were transferred to be paid as and when they become available.
The important question is are the shares we hold (25 million pounds worth included in the options or are they held to be sold at a later date, as they are not included in the run rate over the coming year.
Are these options just a standard part of the cornerstone obligations, or preparation for use upon a sale? One post last week mentioned that an indication of an imminent sale might be the taking up of options. Do options need to be credited in some way prior to a sale, or do the option holders do nothing with them until after an offer or sale is announced?

Meh!
Scott Caldwell to prospective buyer......
Come and look in our data room.
P B To S C......yes, but are you not in the process of carrying out a second review of how to get the ore out of the ground.....
S C TO P B...... Yes.
P B TO S C ......What was the matter with the first revue,,,
S C TO P B..... It wasnt viable to mine....so we couldn't sell it...
P B TO S C.... why will this revue be different....
S C TO P B..... Because we're doing it ourselves, none of that experienced inependant expert malarki...
PB TO S C How do we know you won't mislead us on the data, if your doing it yourselves....
S C TO P B.... Just ask addict, he will vouch for us....
P B TO S C. Wouldn't it be prudent of us to wait and see what your review comes up with...
S C TO P B.... Dont be silly, we're solg, just because we said we're doing a review doesn't mean a lot. Also if we do it will take years...
P B TO S C.... Thank you and goidbye
