He'd call anything a potential mine if he thought he could raise capital off it
Morning all.... could it be something to do with Newmont taking over Newcrest and their position.

Need to be a bit careful KapilD as Mather might be unwell. Hopefully he's all good and just leaving it all to Maxit and co. As for DGR and other Mather interests... I have no idea about them.
I think they'll RNS in good time but it's the seda filing that they have to do first hence why it was picked up.
Incidentally, the last time we had a 'special meeting' added to the AGM was in 2019. Everything thereafter has been standard AGM.
Mather was at the helm in 2019 but slipped away after 2020's voting.
Scott needs something special himself or else he'll be following Mather as think Scott's votes were marginal last time around.
Fort, not even DGR shareholders hear from Nick, he's off hiding in a hole somewhere praying for a SOLG bid
Should there be an rns or email?
Further to my note about the additional 'special meeting' being added to the normal AGM on Dec 13th, it's also possible that this may have been requested by BHP as can be called by a shareholder with 10% interest.
We just had the box standard AGM last year but in under 8 weeks time, we are getting an AGM and 'Special Meeting'.
So either major shareholder requested it or there is something that they want us to vote on that is outside the normal AGM resolutions.

Reckon we see test higher today 12p on cards. Fail then breach later in week
Don't like to kick a man whilst he's down but the colonel and redknight as nice as they are have got this so so wrong for many a year and have to my fault led me to invest over the years thinking a bid would be inbound this year for certain and quady who is much belittled has been far nearer the mark
Is this the 2023 AGM ramper Fort said would definitely not happen because there was definitely something going on in the background and we'd definitely have been subject to a flurry of takeover bids? How strange. So I was right and he was (predictably) wrong?
What a chump. If he isn't paid to write the tripe he does then he must be an absolute simpleton.

Don’t feel too bad, seanhunter has had plenty of posts removed recently perhaps it was on one of those threads 😁
Absolutely you could be in my gang novice.
You could play with the children whilst us adults put another prawn on the barbie.
You might find the kids a bit to mature for you. But no worries, we're a welcoming breed
Tesla, had to smile at your possible plan to emigrate to australia.
I don't include you, or one or to others.
But how some of the delicate profesionaly offended opinionated woke run to admin superior knowledge little englanders on here would fare with speak your mind ausie, makes me shudder
Thanks Fort, DM.
Rather than speak louder I could just speak over them autistically….
Thanks Fort, either way, let the charm offensive begin as there must be plenty of holders who although believe in the asset, are proper pi55ed about the current SP. Wonder how much of the co. Us little guys own 1 to 2 % maybe?
Might be nothing but last year, it was just an Annual General Meeting.
This year, it's an Annual General and SPECIAL Meeting.
ohhhhh! Mmm
No, it just means you need to be on the register as of Nov 8th to be able to record a vote. Voting can be done all the way up until your broker says so .. normally 3 to 5 days before AGM date but you would need to check with broker as many vary even though it's all automated these days. The big boys like BHP and co normally vote on the day I believe.
Only 8 weeks away
Incidentally... Lasso leaves November 24th. Noboa sworn in and starts Nov 25th.
So perhaps Scott and co know they'll all they need pre-agm hence why they have brought it forward by 2 weeks as historically it is usually Dec 22nd... eg latest date possible lol!
Does that mean votes need to be cast by 8th November? If so, christ on a bike, doesn't give em long to get that rabbit out of the hat!
Here you are
AGM date : December 13, 2023
Record date for voting : Nov 8th 2023
Hi mog. I can't seem to view that document. Have they announced a date for the AGM?
TIA
I appear to have had a post deleted, presumably for calling the Welsh 'Welsh.' If that's so, it pretty well proves my point.
Consistency from Admin would make a pleasant change on here!
And 723k block bought at 5.30pm.
Same old mm's... they can't seem to get around to posting big trades live during the day. Instead, they do it afterhours. Quiet buying.
