1984, no he didn't get it wrong. WI was saying he likes lots of shares in issue because it provides the liquidity he likes - he was bemoaning the lack of liquidity on TSX. In my opinion we most certainly don't want more shares in the market and it struck me as odd that he didn't seem to take the dilutive effect into account. I concluded he was a bit contradictory on this subject.
Where Q gets it wrong is in his last paragraph. WI has no interest in the company defending itself against a hostile bid - not that there's going to be one.
Overall, I thought that interview was interesting and he gave some good insight into his view of the market in certain critical minerals.
Sure he means less shares (ie a consolidation)? More confetti shares would make it even more of a penny stock
Haven’t listened yet but I’ll assume Quady got it wrong (usually a safe bet)
Im assuming he wants more liquidity so he can offload/exit his position.
It's a good listen Shipright as I heard it this morning.
Warren Irwin talks about a tight market in Solgold.
Yep that's what a diverse book with no controlling interest gives you.
He would also like more shares issued for Solgold as he believes that pricing would be better established.
What he really means is he can't buy any cheap as it would massively affect the price and he is stuck.
For someone who is meant to understand this type of business, it almost seems he doesn't understand how a successful company can defend itself from a hostile bid.
Steve, it's going to keep falling as long as we have no news, imo.
Fort. I'm just wondering what your views are on this paragraph from a report into where the ecuador government expected solg to be by the end of this year. 6 or 7 weeks away.
Bearing in mind it's mothballed.
In February, the Energy and Mines Minister, Fernando Santos, stated that he expects pre-construction works to begin at the Cascabel and Curipamba mining projects by the end of the year, and construction to kick off in 2024.
Can we assume it's another solg missed deadline.
If so what do you think the next move, will be from Ecuador government
Pad, it's OK discovering (if it indeed is) but not much value if you can't get it out of the ground.
Where are we now. Is it plan 3 were working on.
There's an old saying. You cannot polish a tu#rd
I know of a company trying to sell one, that by their own admission, teir 1 is subjective.
Problem appears to be, the same as my old holden.
I say 240000k.its just run in, 30 years old, it's mature.
People come and have a look, realise I've spun some bs and disapear,
Anyone know of a Tier 1 copper discovery for sale?
Unfortunately not, Quady
Only thing he looks at with that telescope is the wifie
over the road getting undressed
Thank you Copperpot.
Good evening Padmaster, no unfortunately I have to travel to get dark skies.
I am in Surrey, but haven't taken the Altair astro out as the weather hasn't been that fair.
I hear that we will have a chance in the UK, as this is the best it's been for years.
Have you had any luck.
Evening Quady,
Have you managed to see Steve and the Northern Lights where you are?
Hi Quady, great post at 12.33, nice to see so many recommends for a great post!
Refreshing change from all the codswallop.
Surely we are bottom fishing but can't bring myself to buy anymore
Nothing else to do or post here anymore just a case of waiting and hoping SC et al pull a rabbit out of the hat
Everything else is titillation for the bored and needy posters who wish to continue replying to the messers...

I think this quote comes to mind about some of the posters on here
“Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't.”
Leo Buscaglia
I think it’s quite apt at times 😁
He knows the square root of f* all, and he often gets caught out when he’s googled the wrong thing and tried to pass it as his knowledge
Example of MuffAmatics
Q: 1+1= ?
A: A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. 🤩
Quite right!
Somehow polymuff sounds so much better than the correct word. What next? Muffmatics?
MuffAmatics correctually.
Jezzoo I have only done two major jobs in my life one as a Technical Analyst working in the Super Computer division and one in Finance, was successful in both.
Just happens to be the skillsets I have.
You may notice I don't comment on the running of the company or Management because these are not my areas of competence.
Hence it's easy for me to see through people like Slug, Redknight and ColonelDrake.
It's easy to be right, just comment on the things you know about and keep quiet about the things you don't know about.
On the running of the company and management, I prefer to listen to Addicknt and DinnerMoney and one or two others.
Not many worth listening too on here, all they do is say a sale is coming.
You would think that after ten years of saying a sale is imminent every week that their own stupidity would make them think.
However the idiots are backed by other useful idiots that have no idea about investments and how to proceed in difficult circumstances and markets.
