Not sure what your agenda is ( but can guess with only a single post to your name at the start of today) but all this sowing doubt about the final vote figures is laughable. At last years AGM the voting figures and percentages announced at the AGM were the final confirmed figures which eventually were published in an RNS. So unless they have changed the way they announced the results last year all your speculation about still having to add in votes for BHP/NCM is pure bulls£it!
I’m not sure BHP or jiangxi would just sit back and allow that to happen ….. the licenses would revert to the state for a start
What I can see at the moment we have no where to go unless they are trying to put us into liquidation and get the Co on the very cheap I have my suspicions.
It certainly is Bozi. I've also thought BHP's silence in the run up to this AGM has been notable. In fact we've not heard much bar speculation in the press since we brought Jiangxi on-board and the merger was announced, have we?
SM …. Yes I’d have thought so …. Hmm
Yeah SM. It's conspicuous by its absence isn't it.
Has me wondering anyway.
Are we not due a "Results of the AGM" RNS today?
Q, as soon as you provide a compelling argument for why you think a jv is in our interests, I'll happily accept your argument.
As it stands, I'm afraid you're clutching at straws.
I agree, they seem to have done a great job of
"killing the Golden Goose" and "cutting off their noses to spite their faces"
etc.
Why has novice been pumping this for years then?
Silly man.
And there you have it close at 16p possibly the lowest point of the year, and currently 39% down on this point last year.
Yes have a "GREAT" Xmas and new year all.
Absolute laughing stock this company and current round of incumbent directors, who seem to be getting more and more transient as we go along!!!
DM, sadly I couldn't gain access to the AGM, but I remain optimistic...even if it's only for 24 hours!
Good post Add …. Well said
Addicknt that's just not true.
Part of the strategic review is how to bring Alpala to production and looking at a JV and how it will be funded.
Let's wait for the completion of the Strategic review.
Merry Christmas everyone, and a happy new year.
Yes Ad, I agree there are positives, but the market is clearly very negative, and it is hard not to be.
An awful year…Again… and unless Maxit can do what Mather failed to do… (monetise the asset for shareholders reward) and without some excellent drilling campaign and assay results, (we haven’t done any regional exploration drilling since January… Fawzis words), we are in for another stagnant 12 months.
woody, I agree but, we've now got a PFS and, much more importantly, we have a new team and new direction. All the old nonsense of production should be consigned to the bin marked "Fantasy crap" and 2023 is the year to realise a return for us long suffering investors.
There's no getting away from it, barring a late miracle this has been an awful year, irrespective of whether you think we are going to get taken out or buy into the diverse book/production ******. Let's hope there is an offer because with no income and no exploration expect more of the same in 2023. What a mistake (again!) not cashing in the late 30's or 40p mark, if there is a next time I'm out, this is torture.
DM, the answers are an exemplar of the non-answer so beloved of most people in authority these days. This is why I would like to see our AGMs being held in the UK so we can confront the management and not let them wriggle out of difficult questions.
Will it ever happen?...not a chance.
Must have really impressed.
Merry Christmas one and all.
One word dinnermoney "pathetic"
Tat….. it was tongue in cheek…. Ish
"Lol Red who knows
And just to rub BHP’s noses in it Nick could be back as CEO "
Talk about looking after your own. Come on BHP make a hostile bid and sake the lot of them
Lol Red who knows
And just to rub BHP’s noses in it Nick could be back as CEO ….
Sorry Dinnermoney...I misread 2021 as 2022...
At least Maria is safe...she may be Chair by 3pm...
