Redknight is desperate , he is balls deep in his own self inflicted mess and will post any drivel to stop margin calls wiping him out
Rk,you are correct regarding buys day after day especially after close someone loading up but who ?
Fortissimo completely agree with you there one less to be concerned about ,wait for it!!,the green post are about to arrive lol!!:(,can't make it up gla
RK, that's some imagination you have there! That's all it is......lol.
Ask yourself, who's going to sell at anywhere near the current SP...
I'm not talking about a block purchase, I'm talking about steady buying day after day...
Bozi...think it through...
Average daily volume is c3m shares...
ALGOs regularly take this down with relatively little volume...
XIB have a short that is only 11 million shares....
It would only take a fraction of 125 million shares and persistent buying to break the SP out of resistance...
Day after day I'm firmly bid for between 200 and 700k of shares...
Theres at least one persistent buyer there...
Add in our 125 million and the SP would fly...
Very good news indeed.Another unknown and potential risk gone. Be interesting to see what the ARB boys do today and over coming week as they know the scores on the doors now.
Looks like there won't be any further requirement for equity raises now that our cash pile is free to use for working capital and regional exploration. The SR $50m is for ENSA only so should mean we have around $30m to send on regionals which might be quite interesting as a backdrop to offer/bid talks on ENSA with various parties.
There was a danger early on, that we would need that $30m+ raised via Chinese to pay off some CGP holders. Had that been significant, we might then have needed a second equity raise. So very good news today.
Take into consideration, Solg holds shares in CGP, imo 10%
If you assume SolGold has c.£50m after the sale of the CGP SolGold shares that aren't ringfenced for Cascabel and the company designated half those funds for a buyback.
At an average buyback price of 20p they're able to buy 125m shares. At 18p it's 137.5m shares.
It's hardly a dent in the c. 3.2bn post merger fully diluted issued share capital.
Not to mention how daft they'd look if they didn't tempt a bid before the remainder of the budget was absorbed by G&A.
Morning all. This will be a rant but trying to justify my investment as i see it. When I came to live in Ecuador about 20 years ago I did it because I saw an opportunity that I couldnt have in England. So I sold my property and business there and went all in here. I bought many properties here and divided them up into more affordable lots. At this point here comes my analogy. Many consessions bought cheaply. I developed , derisked , and built houses to sell or rent or sold the lots to have a good cashflow and profit. I always kept my jewel in the crown which was my first house, but now I need to sell it to continue , as painfull as that may be I will do it to further my business!! I invested in this business because I thought they had a vaguely similar idea, buy, explore , de risk , advertise and sell!! and move on to the next project. Explore, find, and sell or JV etc. That was the business model I bought into. I am more confident than in a long time that this is whats going to happen!! so GLA I am off to bed

One is about to be very disappointed very soon!
To tighten the market and force up the opening bid....
Quady. Please can you quickly summarise what effect the new shareholders will have on your interesting diverse book hypothesis, thanks.
One very definitely Hope's not mog...
One expects that Jiangxi will launch a bid as soon as the 'acquisition' is completed ...
And then one 'hopes' that BHP will launch a counterbid...
Redknight. Please let's not go there.
You've just suggested a buyback...
Is 'shortly' the new 'imminent'? :-)
... the Company expects to publish the prospectus shortly and complete the Acquisition soon thereafter ...
Bozi...you are still completely missing the point here...
Tick tock...
This is BHP's strategy , summed up in one paragraph, one hopes they apply this to Solgold, or at least try
"Now, BHP has agreed to pay fees and exploration costs for three copper exploration targets in Serbia with Canada’s Mundoro Capital Inc. The accord ultimately allows BHP to take full control of any or all of the assets, should they find enough copper to justify building a mine"
Excellent news.
Now...some people have assumed that we would issue the CGP owned SOLG shares to Jiangxi, to 'level up' with BHP and NCM...
But heres a tantalising thought...
Suppose we hold the shares in Treasury, or..., better still redeem them and...
Suppose we started buying other issued SOLG shares in, with the spare cash...
That should get the SP moving...thin market...into the 20s in no time...
Why is it?
It means that if we get our takeover shave a couple of pence off the price to reflect 20% more acquisition shares issued to CGP shareholders.
If you felt the shares were undervalued at 15p then you'd want them to pay cash.
I'll now be disappointed if we don't embark on a smallish regional programme anywhere in the coming weeks.
That's good, isn't it?
Yes just seen the RNS addicknt.
Which means we are keeping the cash to advance Cascabel, just as the company has said they would.
anticipated, we will not be paying away any cash to CGP shareholders. A wise decision.
'the company has already built stakes in an explorer in Ecuador...', which they will lose unless they pull their fingers out.
