What's your view on the current sp Anna?
Oh dear Slug...
Red will keep ramping because he's deep underwater and needs his kids' inheritance back before anyone realises he sunk too much in. Or before he dies.
Slug will keep getting banned because he can't help the GB news-flavoured bile he's been fed on Telegram spilling out.
Bubble will keep repeating what everyone says until he's granted a brain. Poor love.
And I'll keep being correct, and reminding rampers of this fact, all the way into next year.
Remember to apply the logic test: if the smart money thought we were going to be taken over soon, we wouldn't be sub-1bn cap. When the first bid is due, we'll be plenty up. And, on cue, enter:Brainless Noront BS!
I'll leave you all to your party. Just don't spend 3 months of your life on here.
It was quite clear from Bob's aggressive comments last October that he expected a quick sale.
Probably also, that an attractive price would be paid, either by the Chinese paying top dollar or a Chinese bid stimulating competition, similar to Noront.
The unacceptable incompetence and delays in producing the Prospectus had a downside in losing momentum for a sale, but a potential upside in giving more time for prospective bidders to review the opportunity and how much it is worth.
But now it seems another problem (or opportunity, depending on which way you look at it) is the other 70 plus prospects, aside from Cascabel.
Problem, because prospective bidderds may not want the complications of dealing with, developing or disposing of those other prospects, whether it is the 'small' projects or the sexy ones.
Some of us on here have always assumed that the tax consequences of selling off the Cascabel project militated against such a sale and Nick has previously intimated as much.
However, it seems to me that those consequences may be mitigated substantially by Cascabel now being 100% owned.
Furthermore, SOLG has $150m of accumulated losses, even before any 2023 losses. Add to that CGP accumulated losses of $89.6CDN or $67USD
Finally, Lasso is mad keen that Alpala should be producing in 2025...
So maybe a rising option would be selling Cascabel (i.e. ENSA) to, say the Chinese, banking the proceeds and embarking on selling some or proving up some of the other exciting prospects...
After all , as they said in February:
"SolGold's team has the capacity to perform in-house at a significantly lower cost, allowing room for capital to be allocated to Cascabel and other high-priority targets to benefit all stakeholders."
And in November:
"We will also focus on advancing our highest priority exploration targets within our large exploration portfolio in Ecuador using our proven methodology. "
And of course October:
· a spin-out of assets, other than the Cascabel Project, to all shareholders of the Combined Group;
· the direct or indirect acquisition of an interest in ENSA and/or the Cascabel Project howsoever effected; or
· any other transaction or series of related transactions as may be agreed to between the Parties.
Anna, first I've heard of him tbh ,but agree with you on the infester
For clarity, I'm not implying that HH and slug are the same person. HH might struggle with English but he's a lot brighter than that cretin!
Interesting. He and slug both talking about swap positions...
He knows his stuff SharketMare by looks of things Hubrishunter
HubrisHunter's take on 1981's claims: https://twitter.com/hubrishunter/status/1647986943551246338?s=20
Search team has it in the disclosure, definitely. As I say, it's at least double. Short of giving you the name of the CT (obv can't do that!) I've made it as clear as I can.
Slug, your references to 'swaps' show you have absolutely no clue about main-lines, covers, defence or ind/dir, and this is why I wanted to check Add (or anyone) would understand an explanation. You probably have less idea here than you do about temperature (and that's saying something!). Take your brand of ugly stupid elsewhere - I'll ignore you.
Just hurry up and get this sold ..
It's becoming boring , the way it's being played.
'81, over the weekend you suggested the details are buried somewhere in our various documents. Would you care to point us in the right direction? It would help clarify matters. Thanks.
How have they been cancelled. if not a buy back ?
Whatever you say, new poster. You're the expert...
I missed something, sorry, where is this swap advertised and do we know who traded it?
Not what we're discussing though, AN. Do keep up!
No problem, DM. As I've maintained throughout, this absolutely will get taken over (or fail, but that's a negligible risk I'm ignoring). I would suggest action in H1 2024 is highly likely. Don't think we'll get a bidding war, but price will be multiples of the lows we saw recently. That's IMO, obviously - nothing to support that beyond what's already here.
Wow, AnnaNuva- do enlighten us. How does this 'stop nothing'? I know it won't stop the rampers, but be serious for a minute please. Is it routable? If so, how?
Add, it is nothing more than someone with a lot of shares making it very difficult to roll solg until exp. Reasons for that are anyone's guess. But we won't find a buyer this year, and it's that I've been trying to tell people who are reading rampy nonsense. I didn't want this on the board, and would happily get it removed. That's not me saying I think it has impacted the sp- it just isn't public.
Any news somewhere y any chance?
'81, thank you for this, I appreciate it. Although why you felt unable to explain earlier is a complete mystery and disclosure would have avoided much unpleasantness.
I will not claim to understand fully as none of this sort of thing existed when I was involved in public company CF, and my later involvement was more or less limited to private companies. Life was simpler in those days.
In your opinion does this explain one of the options contained in the SR i.e to spin-off the other assets thus leaving Alpala as a stand-alone asset? In other words making it simpler to sell in due course, but also sending a clear signal of intent in the short term.
Not as simple as that, DM. As you can see I'm trying to be helpful! Do you know much about corp search teams at CTs? Won't name the one whose work I'm quoting but think ADM/Koch etc. and you won't be far wrong. They aren't sub-trap when it's near-domain. You could probably ask anyone under the umbrella and they'll be able to show you their workings! For clarity, solg is the only share I'm interested in enough to exploit this, so I won't be proxy for other info. The market since Sept has known the same thing. The anomaly is WI, but I think he was probably just a bit slow to ask the right question, hence the delay in climb down. Or he did know, and that's why he has been so cagey about time frames.
SM, unlikely to get an answer from him as school bell has gone for end of dinner time lol!!:)
It's a direct-indirect block swap that shows up in inter-arb. Someone with big numbers is keen that this either builds value or preps to spin-out before any action. Could be another reason. Doing it this way means suitors don't need to get into the books to know to hold off. 2024 exp- think I mentioned that. That's how I can be so confident that neither Jiangxi nor anyone else will drop a bid until next year.
And to the person who asked, I'm not HH. He seems to understand filings well so I'd guess his background is finance legals. His English is poor, suggesting non-UK, and he spends a lot of time hounding our famous Canadian investor, who is currently executing a quieting of the rhetoric, you'll note. No buyer this year - Bob spoke too soon, and he doesn't call all the shots, he's now seen. Problem with big bodies on the book.
Speaking of posters not explaining things, 1981, for the sake of us plebeians can you kindly explain what your post over the weekend that referenced the "full-curb" actually means?
