Andrew- and back to 35p prior to readout some of us remember it well. It was also at the beginning of the pandemic when the stock market was going nuts for anything that mentioned covid.
The stock market does not have the same fizz to it now.
If poly are so important here why have they not pushed for a seat on the BoD?
I don't think Poly have any interest in the company or it's prospects beyond getting their price for the shares they hold.
IMO if/when the P3 trial is agreed, Poly will become more interested in finding a new home for their shareholding.
I don't see them having the patience / wanting to take the risk of seeing that P3 trial to conclusion.
@ghia my comment about ramping was to whoever was mentioning people making Randy comments, if I had no life I’d scroll through over the weekends posts and find who called peoples comments rampy.. I don’t need to as I remember reading it and that was aimed at them.
This time last year I used to value your contributions but I’m getting a ******** vibe off you this weekend, I don’t know what changed but you seem more hostile and argumentative than I remember.
Auto correct is a b*tch. That was supposed to read rampy* comments and I said you had d*ickhead vibe.
B2HS2L.
Good to see you about.
Warm regards
I can't speak for anyone else but if I've got a 'meaningful return' price of 70p it doesn't matter if it drops to 35p after I've sold?
I know it's different now but things changed almost overnight on 2020. Anyway I've already posted that I'm disappointed to be 'barking up the wrong tree', what else would you like me to post?
AJ316 - I just say it like I see it always have and I’m never afraid to admit when I’m wrong and discuss both sides of the coin in an investment that I hold.
This forum has gone from wanting to burn RM at the stake at the AGM to suggesting we are months away from significant share price gains.
It’s not a stable place for reasonable discussion at the moment IMO. Caution would be advised especially with the wider global economic prognosis.
I have always maintained Poly do Not know anything more than us retail investors. I agree with Ghia that the market has lost nthusiasm and appetite for Covid stock.
Ghia knows his stuff and has essentially contributed excellent research to this board for well over 2 years.
Personally I believe the company will run out of cash.
Warm regards.
Chia I would disagree completely. At the minute the discussions are realistic and balanced. You clearly haven’t been active much lately as the people in discussion since the AGM are not those who was asking for RM’s head as I remember.
I once saw you as one of the best contributors on here but this weekend I feel you are pushing an alternative narrative and picking fault with posters comments when there is no need.
No one is saying they expect to see £2+ this summer just that we have news due which will begin to move the SP north of today price. You seem to be picking fault unnecessarily with these comments.
I find it strange you’ve not contributed much at all this year to my memory to then come in this weekend so argumentative and disruptive. I know you are a LTH so are not pushing the negatives on purpose all I can assume is you’re sitting on a fair loss and are losing patience here. Some people here are on big losses to but would rather discuss the upcoming positives without the negative spin.
We are adults and are not expecting a quick turnaround here.
"It’s not a stable place for reasonable discussion at the moment IMO. "
It never was.
AJ316 - Or perhaps I’m one of the fortunate ones who is not sitting on a loss and therefore can objectively view the situation.
Anyway I’ve said my piece I’ll check back in 3months who knows I may have read it all wrong.
Ghia - I think you're analysis is correct. The limited responsiveness of the sp to the good P3 Deep Dive data suggests the sp will be less volatile than it was prior to The RNS.
The market is also wary of the company after P3, the lustre is off Covid stocks, and there are wider world wide economic concerns.
Maybe so Ghia, whether you are sitting on a loss or not there is no need to push a negative narrative. All up for both sides of the coin and good discussions I just feel something off with your posting. Let’s leave it there.
AJ316 - it’s probably because I’m cranky due to isolating with covid currently! Avoided it for best part of two years but it finally found me.
Ghia - FWIW I hope you contribute and check in more often than every 3 months.
I’m definitely more optimistic post AGM, but I’m not going to get carried away and think I’ll be making millions in the next few months. I’m still slightly nervous about us getting on another trial, regardless of what RM might have intimated. I’ll believe it when I see it, is now my mantra with Synairgen and to stop myself being disappointed!
Thanks Ghia for the perspective on those Resolutions and Poly.
And thanks Manifesto for the positivity.
Also I have been wondering if the time intervals between variants are getting shorter - how short can they get? -Also I don't know to what extent the possible mutations of the virus/spike are finite or infinite. But this can all turn up the pressure on the Covid situation.
