Im not interested in rms making masks what im interested is the licencing out of our patent , that was the strategy and i believe we are there , always nice to have a manufacturer on hand to make the product for us if we get a massive order of masks direct .To me we have a win win scenario here chaps just got to sit on the fence
Dave - I think that's a key point.
We are aiming to have this layer as part of every PPE in the world, what won't be happening is that all of that PPE is going to be Pro Larva PPE branded. It will have the alpha viron layer ("Intel Inside of PPE" - DC comment) and therefore the brands can sell what, and how, they want. What we would want or could see is "anti-viral alpha-viron protected" or something. Perhaps, currently, this is too subtle an update to capture in a website as most sales B2B won't go via the website. Plus depends if they get external web development to update it or they have a dedicated person to do in house.
not one of the three mask on their site is a P2F mask
They are supplying us with face masks and they will have an agreement to sell under there only brand they will not sell as our brand. As far as they said on rns so far
Yes it should be why we have Volz and when I see an RNS saying they are going to add P2F tech to air cond filters I might believe it. At the moment Volz show face masks and a Covid mask on their site but not P2F mask
https://volzfilters.com/product/respiratory-protective-device-ffp2/
Have I got the wrong Volz?
https://volzfilters.com/product/respiratory-protective-device-ffp2
and still www.numed.co.uk no mention of P2F on site in news, new product launch or Prolarva masks for sale.
Isn't this why we have Volz.. I'm sure they know everything needed to make this work.
Callit agreed Legionaries is deadly so the testing and meeting standards will be very stringent esp for a new tech. My point is it just wont happen overnight and once approved then it should impact the share price. Until then it is just talk.....
Good point @unitedguy.
Legionaries is a huge issue for air condition systems. It's caused by Legionella bacteria, so it makes perfect sense to use our anti-microbial material here.
Removing the risk of Legionaries will remove a liability for the operator of the AC unit, so could justify a higher price just for that.
GLA DYOR
Filters for office, aeroplanes etc will not be covered by the same standards as these air filters for air conditioning units are in place for months even years at a time not on your face for a few hours. They will need to be tested and approved for fire safety, possibly legionaries decease and who know what else
When you walk round the office or sit in a plane you have no choice what you breathe and I can assure someone public liability insurance will be a factor too.
This will not just drop into air cond - air filters without a lot of work
IPA it was not worth £6M in April last year but I guess you are right the market cap should now be £10 to 11M
Unitedguy, the big hurdles have been overcome. The masks are on your face and we are directly breathing in and out of it. The filtration system should be a walk in the park, as it's the same technology, just on a larger scale.
Unitedguy - if you had listened to the interview you would note:
1) issue was solvent gluing the elastic to the mask - nothing to do with the viron layer. therefore this key layer is just another layer than can be inserted into the system. doubt it would take more than a day or two. And yes, before you state and obviously haven't read the latest RNS, the supply of this material is as much as is needed.
2) delays in MHRA approval impacted the ability for it to be sold - this may not have a big inpact on the B2C but would have a massive impact for B2B - and certainly to the NHS or other registered medical practicioners in the UK and EU.
3) again, people seem to be hung up on £1 a mask - that's the B2C cost. NHS would not pay that either - and if you have your own mask machine you'd only pay for the IP and the viron layer as extras. Costs would likely be minimum over 50mln masks (but not a small income for RMS). Ever heard of economies of scale?
4) your experience with market valuations are laughable. try again. it was £6m in april last year. ther eis £5m in the bank. there is an additional nanotech company with at least 2 large streams of opportunity, plus contracts for distributors and manfacturers.
Yes unitedguy, RMS needs to monetise its fantastic ideas same as Facebook, Google, TESLA, etc... 'I have a dream....' won't make profits, but the correct CEO will turn this company into a much bigger concern. Potential is huge and patience needed. But of course DYOR
If Dr C thought getting masks approved was difficult imagine the regulatory hurdles to be crossed to get nano tech in air filtration systems and standards to be met with new tech included. I think this is a non starter because it will take months maybe years to get approval.
India will not pay £1 a mask or anything like it, I cant see how Pro Larva could be approved for use in India and even if it is who believes a manufacturer who is running at full capacity will stop their lines for a week or maybe a month to re tool and re jig their machines for a mask they don't know will sell. After all it has not sold in the home market.
P2F has ideas and projects not much else.
Geometric had minimal sales before Covid and will have same after Covid. Cloudveil as far as I can see has no sales.
RMS investments are in companies with ideas and no meaningful sales exactly as it was before Covid. IMO until one of the 3 subsidiaries produces something with meaningful sales RMS is worth what is was worth before Covid plus the remaining cash in the bank. Mkt Cap £7-8M
@jojo2019
Your list should be amended as follows:
- CEO to enable stronger leadership and allow the others time to work on more inventions.
- I would be worried if no-one wants to produce, sales figures will come with the final results.
- Those that pick masks from the floor will continue to do so, but if the dropped one is P2F it will not be full of viral particles to spread.
- imagine the potential of antiviral filter systems :)
- Hint on Gyrometric: “not only used in wind turbines, but also in ferries / boats.
-p2F bringing the ideas to life for RMS and new CEO to take to market.
I personally loved the interview and had my faith increased further, along with my sell target. GLA

I wonder what the phone calls to India will amount to. Hopefully something positive for All concerned.
jojo - I think if you are in here for a quick buck you are in the wrong place. This is a company not a game blackjack.
Unfortunately DC can only talk about P2F - he was not able to talk about RMS, and they, for sure, are interested in sales, as are we all. However, sales don't mean anything unless we also know what our interest will be on each mask/contract which we also don't know.
Just trying to be balanced here. We have Legge as CEO until they find a replacement, this is not new news. Masks for sure will not be sold at £1.50 a mask to India - I doubt the NHS would pay that. The cost you are looking at are the sales to consumers like us, not to Business, which was the original focus of the company.
Again for Cloudveil and Gyrometric wait for the annual accounts.
Whilst I understand the need for those heavily under water to pick up only on the silver linings, there was plenty to be less positive about:
- no clear leader until a new CEO is appointed
- plenty of people offering to manufacture the masks, but no update on sales
- masks too expensive for those who need them in India
- other p2f products still in development only
- no update on cloudveil or gyro, other than they have good people
- p2f not interested in sales, only R&D
GC came across as a good guy and passionate about helping others, but his full time job is still at the university. I hope RMS does well, but nothing we heard warranted the 'RNS Monday morning's ramping we heard last week.
Homer - since reasons for running a business do not have to be run through shareholders for each and every decision. If you want to get involved then start emailing them with your ideas and how you can help.
And if you read the update - these figures should be forthcoming in 2 weeks with the annual accounts.
Not really anything left to be able to complain about, is there.
Where's the RNS with factual news on orders, contracts? Since when was our machine purely for prototyping, very expensive machine purely for that!!
Everyone invested should listen to this https://www.vox markets.co.uk/articles/new-article-e7a6e90/
Just in case the Monday Morningers missed this - and other good observations also spotted by other BB members.
A great outlook for the company, have a listen. Here is a brief summary.
Cleared up the (multiple) reasons for delays however these are sorted:
=DConly consulted out from the University to P2F 1 day a week so I assume a very busy man
=Issue was the solvent welding of the elastic fixing to the mask, now square not circular (original aim was always outsourcing IP to =manufacturers/commericalise) - ISSUE SOLVED
=Long delays with MHRA approval because they had never had to deal with an antiviral mask before and needed to be walked through it - ISSUE SOLVED
Positive Takeaways:
+Needed the P2F machine to make the masks because noone else would take the technology, then proof of concept. Also for testing and improved masks in future - CONFIRMED
=just the software slowing things up (but unlikely to be 5m eventually but B2C not priority as stated - proof of concept/testing/protoyping mainly)
+Volz Filters now making them (not dependent on P2F) plus looking at incorporating it to their filtration systems (office/aeroplane/vaccums etc) - PRODUCTION CONFIRMED
+Numed allowed to make deals with whoever and Volz/P2F to fill orders - CONFIRMED
+Already selling to italy - CONFIRMED
+Lobbying NHS/Government to make the masks minium standard - all PPE should actively kill to avoid clinical waste designation - CONFIRMED
+Aim is to get the alpha-viron layer will be the "Intel Inside" of masks/PPE/filters etc - i.e. global minimum standard
+IP is gained globally so the tech is secure - RMS now have 12-18 months PCT and after that can decide which countries to confirm further patents and trademarks in
+Soap opera is over and Cave will not be selling out - we'll see 7p again - the evidence is in hand and not a risk in the company
+Mask Sales, as I understood it, will be published as an update within the annual accounts and can't be spoken about until then (RMS email response)
+Gyrometrci/Cloudveil - good people and teams and kept RMS going before. Now at next levelling up
+aim also to produce other IP - P2F also does the plant food for hydroponics - big sector
+Any research and development from the University P2F gets first refusal on all the tech - this is BIG
+RMS not here to produce themselves but to find partners and to commercialise - CONFIRMED
+Biggest changes will be when the new CEO is found.
+Strategic Review finalised in 2 weeks
+Offers already from around the world (RE masks, Volz manfacturing the orders)
+25mg/copper per mask is nothing (I was surprised it was that much actually)
+nano ink can be used across a range of surfaces
After that Interview this stock has definitely become my long term hold , much more confident in the next 12 months and less worried about the short term SP.
I for one, won't be too nervous flying in a fully passenger loaded plane, but I will be looking to see if some Tour Companies use planes that are fitted with air filters, that kill viruses.
That takes me to my point, in that as soon as the first company to use such purification as the P2F technology, starts advertising the fact, others will follow, as they can't afford to be left behind. The same goes for other forms of public transport.
Then, of course there are, supermarkets, other shopping outlets/centers, restaurants, cafes, gyms and all other places were the public gather indoors.
People often overuse the term, 'This could be massive', but if it comes off , I can't think of a truer term.
