Shartalk interview is up just listened to it GLA
Yo Seaman
Exciting times
Ear Loops - FFS -
LOL
The breadth of the company seems to be very strong as in the RNSs and interview the news is very much about exciting opportunities other than just masks imho
Yeah - lets not spread diseases in Hospitals
NB - not just Virus - MRSA - VRSA - zooinitic
BBC Newws - OPen windows - Viral particles
Yes Innovative products
Like the Legge responses - sounds a meaured and good man
Belive in the tch
"Where the earloops get welded onto the mask, making sure that happens correctly and at high speed..and that's a tricky piece of engineering."
Tricky piece of engineering I hear you say?
Here's what Lemu say:
“We can work with different materials, and the adjustments are always simple,” states Beaudoin. “With just a few manual adjustments, the machine works properly and efficiently. This is critical because the materials used in mask production frequently change in terms of quality.”
What's that?... 'always simple'!!!
https://www.nonwovens-industry.com/contents/view_breaking-news/2021-01-21/lemu-group-engineers-mask-making-machine/
They say it's 'simple', you say it's 'complicated'..
Why do we keep paying other people to fix Lemu's mess and still it doesn't get fixed?
Surely Lemu have a responsibility to provide the machine in a fully working state?
So the ear loops are a bottleneck from the interview, this from a Lemu PR piece about their machine:
https://www.nonwovens-industry.com/contents/view_breaking-news/2021-01-21/lemu-group-engineers-mask-making-machine/
"The machine features two welding groups, as well. The first welding group joins the different mask layers, while the second welds the mask’s ear loops. Lemu Group has partnered with Weber Ultrasonics to produce these German-made welding groups.
We have worked diligently to ensure the welding point of the mask’s ear loop can be adjustable,” explains Beaudoin. “Depending on the quality of the ear loop and mask material, this welding point can vary quite a bit, so is very important to have the material well-guided.The positioning of the masks in the welding system are servo-made, which guarantees that the position of the mask is accurate and eliminates positioning errors.
The machine is also equipped with a system to place the ear loops inside the mask, and the mask grouping system in each welding line is independent."
Also the other thing I noticed from the interview was that when asked about things other than the mask he went straight into other nano particle stuff..which is fine but I would have expected him to have said something about the use of the anti-viral material in other applications first. Maybe just an oversight?

Fair point
Big hint for me in the RNS today was the the inference that the Tech is moving on with P2F and the potential is huge with other avenues to explore.
Masks will transform revenues here mid term - to allow the Tech to progress IMO
Adjusted Portfolio to 2 holdings now - weighted in RMS.
Maybe a gamble - Time will tell :)

Not seen the interview yet but was there any mention of where the 5 million cash balance is going to be invested? Last RNS where it was mentioned the board hadn't decided where they were going to invest it or which business it was to be invested in.
I just hope it's not being used for day to day running expenses and admin.
1 million + masks from Volz won’t be cheap let’s hope Lemu can be held responsible for lack of production and for compensation
Have been put in charge of opperating several freshly installed Prod. lines/machines.None of them worked perfectly on day one, they need the engineers to fault find.Maybe a a few weeks before things stabilise.
@DL33 Yes, I hope Lemu step upto the plate and get this sorted quickly as you say this is a global pandemic and the health needs are more than just making money. It amazes me that their sales team are out there extolling the virtues of the machine while their first customer is left with a part working setup.
That being said I don't really know why P2F have taken this route of becoming a manufacturer themselves. It has only caused pain points. But this was something that was decided before the new BOD arrived..in fact I think BRH ordered their machine even before the sale was complete to RMS (could be wrong on that?)
I did see positives in the RNS today and I hope that the new BOD are at least now working in the right direction. I really think that the machine in the UK should be a sideshow. The money here will be about licencing the product to other manufacturers across the world. It was positive to see that they intend to refocus on what they do best, the science and innovation.
I also think it would not hurt to talk to someone like #SCGL to setup an epurse shop to sell to the Chinese market. They love masks in the far east.
Eventually if the demand is there they could get them manufactured out there as well and cut costs in the process..even if we have to send over the a-viron layer for them to use so they don't nick our nano tech :).
The only problem I have with the interview is the fact that we as shareholders are only focused on P2f apparently..If you dont update shareholders for over 5 months on other companies you have interests in then it's quite hard to not put all the focus on the one company you are updating us on. Gla
I agree...still no updates from either Cloudveil or Gyrometrics plus no updates from P2F regarding the citrus greening trial or any of the nano-fertilizer trials!
