Cheers sidi, same to you mate
Hey robleo, sorry for getting back to you late. How I wish that I am making fortune but not all of my shares are doing well. Still got a few bad lemons in my portfolio, which are wiping off the gains from my other shares. Hopefully next year will be better. I also wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy New Year!!
Oh err ..... don't drink too much!!....
Hi sidi, hope you're making a fortune here
Just want to say, Merry Xmas and a happy new year my friend, take care and stay safe, and the same to all you guys here, and hopefully a prosperous new year
Hello my friend CSDI. Good to see you talking again. No, I am not doing very good with my portfolio, only this one is a little better than many of my other lemons. You made a wise decision to dump your shares and paid down your debts. Otherwise, you probably would be even worse by now. With no sight of the end of this ungodly disease, I am sure there will be more unpleasant time ahead for all of us here holding shares but let's see what 2022 will bring then.
Anyway, I hope you and your Mrs both are keeping well. Wish you two a Merry Christmas and a very happy new year.
Hi Sidi
Just thought I would pop in and say hello.
Looks like you've had a good run with this share - a nice HY one.
Hope you are doing well with all your p/f
Take care, have a merry xmas and a prosperous new year

If Russia invades Ukraine it will push the price up by as much as 25% in a month.
It has gone back up to the highest closing price since May 2017. You can sell if you want to sell now but it probably will break away and make new highs during this last minute Santa rally though.
Always falls the day after I start thinking about selling some!
BOE IR rise and all the utilities and defensives took a sharp dive today.
Hi Paul, couldn’t resist referring back to my comment that this would stay above £10! Rare and a joy that I called it right, time will tell, but especially after the carnage today, to see a small rise is rewarding. Will add more if it returns to £10 ish but as before, I really can’t see that happening, this stock is going from strength to strength. GLA
I,ve held NG. for a little while and currently hold 1443 shares at an average of £9.2125. I find it a nice little dividend payer, but don't think I will buy more at the current price. If it fell back below £10 I could be tempted to add more.
Don’t think I timed it Perfectly, but think I did ok too,
Sold couple of thousand to bank profit just in case, but seem to be in fashion at the moment.(even including covering ex div)
Seems I timed my BUY perfectly. Thinking abt cash in now at top of range?
I'm back in with 2000 yesterday as I'm feeling defensive all of a sudden.
Appreciate the feedback and agree right now is not a good entry point. Have identified a number of good dividend payers and this is certainly one of them. Will sit back and wait. However, can’t help endorse comment below, it really wouldn’t surprise me if NG. Stayed above £10 with its WPD acquisition approved and being in a perfect position for the current energy explosion

The 52 week high was £9.836, so not a lot of headroom on todays SP. Of course historic SP does not mean it will not go on to beat that. However this isn't the type of stock that typically shoots up.
It is a dependable safe haven to offset risk in these strange times, while providing a dividend well above the average.
In my opinion its the type of stock every investor should have in a diversified portfolio, and it represents 4.92% of my own portfolio.
Sometimes boring is good in small amounts.
Hey Giraffe, don't you think that you have left it till too late? The SP is now the highest since February 2020.......lol
Thanks everyone. Now all I have to do is decide on an entry point. Will the SP keep rising because results that are coming are good, or will it fall back?
Ex div 02/12/21
https://www.dividenddata.co.uk/ex-dividend-date-search.py?searchTerm=NG.
The amount would be declared at HY results - due on 18th Nov I think
should go xd for the interim near the end of month , with a payment made in January.
Hi, sorry, can’t see dividend due anywhere, when is ex div date and payment date please? Thanks
Nice jump today. Juicy divvi soon.
any views on CMA decision? Good in part -lets see what market thinks.
In profit for the first time since I bought back 1/3 of what I have sold just over a month ago. Let's hope that there will be more rises tomorrow. Good luck everyone.
