Indeed, always difficult to guess a bottom though. I am still waiting for the cash from the GNK sell to hit my account.... Once it does, I may buy more BCN at this level, although there seems to be a few firms looking on the cheap side at the moment!
I had a good look at JDW but they seems to currently be a bit too expensive, I only bought GNK because they looked cheap (and then got cheaper after I bought!). On my watch list though, I may wait a while before a buy another brewer!
I'm agreeing with mrcautious here. Aim is a lottery and not for buy and hold investors. I do not like trading but should have rebalanced and taken something off the table in the 40s. Technically, I could still sell some here but my deep held bias in this firm is telling me that this a short term blip and we will not see sub 20 prices.
Dumb? Nobody is being dumb unless you want to try to blame anyone but yourself!
If the company fails then the CEO has clearly not done a good job but investment losses are on your own head! Management is a big factor in a companies success and a unproved one should be taken with more than a pinch of salt! CF is clearly a good sales man and made a compelling pitch, we all got sucked in. I am also sitting on a big lost here but as an investor with some experience now, I have to take the responsible for my choices and hopefully learn lessons to guide me in my future investments.
I suppose if there is a sudden turn around, everyone here will be singing CF praises and humming the theme song to The Great Escape! *face palm*
Unlikely, just read the posts on here. People averaging down when there is no clear plan. This has going from being high risk to dead man walking. If there is a bounce expect it to hit a wall of sellers!
Yep, lesson learnt for me here! When they pulled the first bond issue it should have been a red flag. It did worry me but I didn't act. I could have banked a lost and sold down a bit, not completely out but lower my exposure. I haven't lost as much as some on here but it has still been my worst lost on an investment/trade to date. I got too drawn into the hype, always a bad move and hopefully one I can avoid from now on.
