When do we buy more?
@mannnan What worst can happen to Ukraine now?
I'm with you Pieboy. I should have sold a few on the last rally, but we always think that! Already said that the biggest risk is that the Russians take complete control of everything away from sharesholder. I still see this as a very small chance but it is not impossible now. Holding and may add on support, it is sure to be a volatile ride. This was always a long term hold for me. Nothing about the company has changed but the geopolitical risk has increased substantially. Hard to tell what is priced in at the moment.
I am a bit shocked that Putin has done this. I thought annexation of the Dobass would be as far as he would go but I was clearly wrong. At minimum now, he will want a puppet government. Hard to say how low FXPO will go, I think 155-160 is a good support area. The biggest risk here now is how will the west treat companies based in Russian occupied territories.
-This is the information given from ii
Your Poolbeg Pharma restricted shares are not deemed to be ISA-eligible under HMRC rules. You therefore have until 9th March 2022 to request that we move them from your ISA account into your ii Trading account if you have one. In order to move the shares please select ?Cash & Transfers? from your account page, then ?Transfer in?, and ?Account to Account Transfer?. A new page will open where you will be able to instruct us to transfer the shares. Alternatively, you may wish to withdraw the shares into certificated form which will be registered in your own name and posted to you; please contact us by phone if that is the case.
If you take no action before 9th March 2022, we will endeavour to remove the shares from your ISA. This may involve transferring the shares into your Trading account if you have one, opening a Trading account on your behalf and transferring the shares into that account, or withdrawing the shares and re-registering them into your own name. Which of these options applies will be determined by us at the time in our capacity as the ISA Manager.
- I am wondering if this transfer out due to ISA-eligible is only because I put the max 20k into the ISA already this year? Has anyone put in less and still getting this message?
- The other thing I find strange from this message is if they will transfer the shares to my trading account on the 9th, if they do not hear from me, why do they ask me to do it myself before the 9th. I'm guessing that is just the default option and if I wanted the certificated shares or tranferring to some other account I should let them know.
- The whole thing feels like boll*cks.
I had just come here to post this corporate action information. I was also under the impression that the dividend shares would be allowed to stay in the ISA. I have had other spin-outs that were in the past.
@Col This is just your opinion, full of emotions and not much else. I certainly share your concern with the falling share price but long term this is just noise (and an opportunity to load up at a lower prices) which IF nothing has changed with the story of the company, debt free, cash flow positive, plenty of work booked for the coming year, is short term over exuberance! Most pharma stocks seem to be getting dragged down because of the end of covid and people getting scared out of their positions because of the falling prices. I think this is the main reason for the falling share price and believe we are close to complete capitulation. If you don't trust CF anymore then you should sell and move on, if you do, then you shouldn't look at the price every day.
@ripley oh that comment wasn't pointed at you. I don't think you are ramping or deramping, you sell when you think it is right, 3p to 6.5p is a good gain. Higher target for this share in my mind. It was just a general comment. I don't take any ramp or deramp statements seriously, although we all want the shares we own to go up (possibly to the moon! Seriously no! LOL I find all the wall st bet memes funny)
The ramping on this board is funny. Mainly because so few are really interested in this share. :D
A week ago I would have said that you were crazy.... but nowadays, whos knows! ;P
Someone doesn't know what a 'penny' share is :/
The lock-in period ends in April in anycase so seems a bit pointless. And I wouldn't take many notice of all the sell orders today, my fairly large buy showed up as a sell order.
Boring is good. If we start getting 50 new threads a day saying that this stock is going to the moon then it will be time to get out! ;D
You will see it in your broker account
Bought 19,893 and did think that the price was at the low end of the spread. I will never understand why this happens! ;D
Ouch, 29p for me. Was tempted to average down at 8p but decided to let the dust settle before I threw anymore cash at this.
Correction - I should have said mass testing for only the next couple of months. There are some governments that clearly are reluctant to let go of their covid powers but as more data comes out there will be no denying that Omicron means the end to restrictions.
@Maximillian3 To be labelled a deramper is a bit of an ad hominen but I'll take it. I am a holder here and have averaged down quite a bit. Still underwater, as we all are. I actually feel the company is looking cheap even thinking about the non-covid parts of the bussiness but I have no inside knowledge or 'in the know' of the growth prospects of these areas or even what covid contracts may still come through. However if you think that mass testing will continue for any of the Omicron variances you are mistaken. I still think that there is an interesting bussiness here and if you have any input on how you would value it I would be interested in listening.
Fortunatatly for us, and maybe unfortunately the ODX, Covid (for the most part) is over. For most people, even unvaccinated, Omicron is a cold! Much more benign than Delta. And I had Delta and was unvaccinated, it was like the flu, I never thought I was going to die. Holders here need to forget about pandemic testing for ODX, they have completely missed the boat, and look at the remainder of the testing bussiness which was growing, abide slowly, before they tried to shift all of their manufacturing to LFT. DAM was a good contract to get and hopefully will result in some positive cashflow but its too late in the day to make a major impact. This stock needs to be valued on the on-going bussiness and I have been scatching my head recently trying to work out if the price is cheap or just fair.
I just bought my first! In ECR but feel I should spread the risk of my gold miner holdings to more soild deposits! Actually been thinking for adding a couple of the really big dogs (Maybe Barrick?) as well. Gold may not break out on this rally but it will at some point.
@calamari I give that a chance of 1%.
