Chris.....Jesus don't be asking shaunp and anyone else for calculations! No one knows ! Everyone is pis****g in the wind! I may as well ask my two year old niece for a number,! This is my research! There is a virus, there is no cure! Vaccinations will be short lived, a virus is a living entity it survives, it adapts! It's smarter then humans! Lockdown in this country again by the end of the year! Simple enough for every one.
Yes EXMEX, I did see that, and it struck me that the government were thinking even at end of September 2020, that those lighthouse labs run by thermo-fisher etc were going to have their contract curtailed, and Covid-HT would be used instead. Exsig Mag is also on schedule 5 page 81.
I don't know if anyone noticed but the list of products to be be supplied in the contract last autumn also included (HT) High throughput test's. These wouldn't be for use on q16 and q32 devices as a NPT. They are designed for the bigger labs using 96 well format's or larger.
Regarding DHSC and government orders there is an interesting article in the Guardian today about a small firm called Norvap who were told by the government to make ventilators along with Dyson and others. They spent money building the machines but then the government reneged on promises to buy them. There are countries like Mexico who would happily buy the ventilators but the government has left no route by which the ventilators can get emergency approval!!!! DHSC changing their minds?
Thanks everyone. I was aware of winterplex kits that were unlikely to be used due to the flu disappearing! I was reading into your useful database earlier Shaun (thank you) and i think i'm right in saying that some of the kits can be used with other platforms?
I'll revisit my math tomorrow. As it stands though, even assuming the NHS took PROmate for the entire 14 week initial term its still only a fraction of overall testing capacity and it still doesn't explain how they have enough for this whole year (unless the machines are a limiting factor). Appreciate there are a lot of unknowns/assumptions though
Chris , dont forget that the DHSC were ordered ???? quantities of winterplex so you cant actually reach a number of how many Exsig kits were ordered or second guess how many q's were in situ when attempting to break down how 150mm was accounted for.
ChrisToffer Your part post To meet that £10m/week, the company would need to deliver around 1200 kits at £1200, per day. In your research, does that sound reasonable? Do the company have that sort of capacity? I appreciate this is not an exact science but your input would be greatly appreciated. *************************************************************** Very difficult to know what has really happened Some indications were that only 200 instruments were installed, which types q16 or q32 - we have no clue Capacity it seems has never been an issue (our understanding) Until PROmate arrived it is suspected that the rollout / usage was on the low side The Minimum qtys as per the contract are unknown Were there any "Quality" problems, we don't know?
Re your "1200 kits at £1200" A kits normally holds 96 tests, say £8 to £9 per test = £816 per kit therefore to sell £10m per week = 1,176,470 tests per week Say 200 machines = 840 tests per day / (30+14)/2 per run = 38 runs per day - Not possible!
Thanks Shaun and Wilson. Ive been doing some calcs on this today with regards the UK testing numbers and the DHSC contract. Please correct me if i have anything fundamentally wrong with this;
The machines are around 10k each so 300 of them is £3m. The initial 14 weeks of the contract were for £150m and the extension £100m for 10 weeks. From that i assumed that the machine rollout and support services made up around £10m and £10m/week afterwards would be generated from kit sales.
To meet that £10m/week, the company would need to deliver around 1200 kits at £1200, per day. In your research, does that sound reasonable? Do the company have that sort of capacity? I appreciate this is not an exact science but your input would be greatly appreciated.
Extract "We have the Genesig Q16 testing instrument available for free or pay as you go. You receive $120 government reimbursement for every test performed. Contact now GlobalPPE@pipelinemedical.com with your requirements."
Don't question my integrity you idiot A long while back i did post on AVCT to point out its fundamentals, i still think it will fall like a stone after todays results however, that is for their investors to research and make their own minds up. I did agree not to post and have NOT done so since. That was agreed. I have zero interest in that stock. But again, i don't have to justify myself to you You on the other hand are relentless, i have a good idea who you are from your style of posting. You are one very sad individual frankly, posting negative comments on a stock board 24hrs a day. Get a life, you are the lowest of the low frankly
Kaeren sorry for the delay in support for you been to see the honey bee keeper, people on here know what's what and who the scummy bar stewards are, anybody else up for a green bin for it or just report, mind you lse as usual performing poorly on removing posts no wonder people go to telegram.
It's funny how this post is addressed to Porky who goes to other boards and deramps their shares - I'm not an Avacta holder but was once. I just can't see why anyone would do that, and call people here derampers. Porky, did you keep your promise to one poster here not to do that anymore? Or, was that another Porky?
Porky , I know I don't but when someone goes onto another board and I wouldn't have known and says I am the same poster as someone who has an account since 2009 and I pump and dump I posted the below. I will not be driven off the board because I am viewd as a threat by the shorters , nor will I have my integrity questioned. Obviously I hold in my ISA too and that is where I bought early and hold most my shares. I dont know how these people sleep at night. Truly disgraceful. Thank you MS I woull not have known.
Here here to that Porky. Neither Kaeren or anyone else has to justify themselves. I have no issues with people discussing or even ranting about the business or sp on this or any other company bb that they happen to be invested in BUT I truly hate it when things are made personal as Fortuna has done. Kaeren is clearly upset and that should never happen or be condoned. Out of order!
@Kaeren You do not have to justify your investment position to ANY of these scumbags You are a top draw researcher and Investor, you don't need to prove anything. Not least to some sad keyboard warrior just out on a mission to insult - nobody should have to put up with that. It's nice really that all they need to worry about is posting evil comments, they need some life perspective frankly. These are tough times but hold the faith. They do this to erode confidence, very sad frankly You take care now Pork's
That is a pic of my fund and share account. I also hold substantially more in my Isa. Ever since I called out Scardiecat I have had outrageous things said about me. I recognise that Scardiecat and this poster are one in the same. I am sitting on a loss in my find and share account as is apparent. I am a normal investor , this is scraping the bottom of the barrel. You dont give a **** how low you stoop to. Absolute low life lying scum.
