Hi Paranomia - same here. Finally received the new shares in my IG account after months of chasing.
It finally happened today, good god that was a wait!
Is anyone any further with IG? Still isn't transferred!
SRT MUST SEE COBRE AS THE NEXT MOD AS THEY HAVE BOUGHT ANOTHER CHUNK
Checked with IG 30-JUN and still no planned date to transfer... all seems a bit slow... surely there must some rules that are being broken here?

For information:
Received today from ii....."Following up on our phone call. I am just writing to confirm that our corporate action team have confirmed that they have received all the relevant documents from Metal Tigers and our settlements team are working on depositing the holding and this should reflect on customers accounts shortly."
@shadowsonmylungs
I have also had my shares moved out of my ISA even though it's on an HMRC recognised exchange. Currently awaiting a reply from IG.
The last update I had from IG regarding SRT was they were waiting for the custodian prime broker to move the assets from AIM to ASX.
Still waiting for SRT to be credited, however, my Metal Tiger shares have been transferred out of my IG ISA Account. Trying to get an update from IG on what is happening as the new shares are listed on a recognised exchange so should be held in an ISA. Any one else had any luck in receiving SRT shares ?
No
Is anyone seeing SRT in their account, yet?

Morning all. Just logged into my HL account and seen that no value shown for MTR shares but they are at least still shown in the ISAs. I suppose HL will give them a value when there's a reasonably reliable figure based on ASX deals. Has anyone any recent info on the ISA eligibility issue?
Hi bigmj....good to see you are still on board...
For Information: There is a new thread on Hot Copper......`Metal Tiger/Strata - UK Investors Thread'..............it is getting quite a following....although I am sure most UK investors still visit this board from time to time, it would also be good to see you visit HC ... :)
we will still be able to access this baord and chat on here for many years, it wont appear when you search but you can still access it, as I have done for many years and other shares that have delisted etc
Will be there......GLA
Cheerio folks-see you on Hot Copper.

A little background on why the move to ASX was made. Looks like the board were taking action to improve performance.

Thank you.
Look on ASX website...search MTR......updated every 20 mins......no volume at present though...
Has anyone been able to see an active quote anywhere? Obviously HL dont show one, but nor can I find one on my iphone and their website just seems to have a static quote of 33c, which I am assuming is out of date.

Thanks AP. I was aware that MTR was there but I thought there would have been 1 for Strata as well/instead of. Surely the BoD should be doing all they can to raise awareness of the new name for new investors, assuming there are going to be some!
For Information: just started a new thread on Hot Copper......`Metal Tiger/Strata - UK Investors Thread'..............
HI Keithb1......search the words `Metal Tiger '...its there...I think we need to start a new thread though.....will look into this evening..
I was looking forward to checking MTR/Strata's sp on Hot Copper this morning-well "looking forward" is perhaps putting it a bit strong- but HC doesn't even recognise the company when you search for it. Not a very good start. Did Strata start trading on ASX last night or not?
Yeah.

Who knows then?!? I’m with II and at present they are sticking to their stance. I understand Charles is dealing with them directly. Whether we see them budge I’m not sure.
Hello Taylot. The last I heard from HL was that MTR/Strata remains ISA eligible-has that changed recently? HL have confirmed that to me, so I'm expecting to retain the CDIs in our ISA's with the ability to sell but not buy, which is fine-I don't want to buy any more, just benefit from any rise in what we have without worrying about tax.
The last I heard from MTR was that they were trying to get II to accept the CDI's as ISA eligible-do you know if II have changed their stance on that?
That’s not accurate as they will be classed as CDIs not normal shares and this is the issue. As it is presently understood only shard are determining the CDIs as ISA eligible. It’s a mess.
Hi All,
Does anyone know long it will take for the shares to transfer over to the asx and be available for trading?
In terms of keeping shares in an ISA, IBKR and IG both allow ASX shares in an ISA. IG allow partial ISA transfers whereas IBKR only support full transfers.

Worse part is that MM’s total remuneration package increased from last year… haha.
A joke would be an understatement!!
Unbelievable, the sheer greed and lack of morals that's been shown by the board of Metal Tiger.
Market Cap £14 Million
a LOSS of £6.5 Million
Yet every single director received a bonus, £150k for Michael McNeilly plus £187K salary, plus £14K in “other benefits” £351K total.
What possible targets have been reached that enabled any board member to receive a bonus.
Posting of Annual Report
A complete version of the Annual Report and Accounts can be found here:http://www.rns-pdf.londonstockexchange.com/rns/6744U_1-2023-3-29.pdf, and on the Company website: https://www.metaltigerplc.com/investors/financial-reports-accounts . Copies of the abovementioned document will be posted in accordance with the timetable below.
Highlights:
· Registration of the Company as a small UK AIFM ("AIFM") under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Regulations 2013 ("AIFMR").
· Completed the sale of its remaining 49% interest in Kalahari Metals to Cobre thereby exiting projects division.
· Equity Investments division reported a loss of £5.1m (before administration and interest costs), primarily driven by overall market conditions during the year and more specifically the decrease in value of the Company's investments in Sandfire together with the decreased dividend earned from Sandfire of £146,000 (2021: £1,538,000).
· No incremental revaluation of the royalty over 2% net smelter return ("NSR") over circa 8,000km2 of Sandfire's exploration tenements and in-particular the licence that holds the A4 project, which was a material contributor to the previous results of the Company (2021: £5,214,000)
· The Company replaced its Margin Lending Facility with SC Lowy with an increased new A$15m Margin Lending Facility from a fund under the same Lender, allowing the Company to follow its rights in Sandfire's placement and enabling further acquisitions in Sandfire when deemed opportunistic.
· Net current assets at the year end of £19.2m (2021: £24.1m).
· Loss for the year before taxation of £6.7m (2021: profit of £4.2m).

OK, thanks I understand now.
From the RNS dated 2nd Match AIM cancellation.
In accordance with the notes to AIM Rule 41, as the Company will maintain the admission of the Shares to listing and trading on the ASX, being an AIM Designated Market, Shareholders’ consent in a general meeting of the Company, which would otherwise be required pursuant to AIM Rule 41, is not required for the AIM Cancellation. The Company expects the AIM Cancellation to take place at 7.00 am on 31 March 2023.
Rule41 (google the exemptions) requires a shareholder vote.
Sorry Phatbaz but I don't understand that post at all.
Metal Tiger have used an exclusion to rule 41, that would have resulted in a shareholder vote with 75% in favour, for the delisting to happen.
I) where comparable dealing facilities on an EU regulated market or AIM designated market are put in place to enable shareholders to trade their AIM securities in the future.
Brokers are saying they can't be held in an ISA, do you believe they are comparable dealing facilities, and that shareholder approval wasn't required.
Ask the MTR nomad, why they allowed it.
Theski, I think we're doing all we can at the moment so will have to await developments. I really have no idea how this will turn out.

Yes, but votes were cast in respect of only 1 third of the shares in issue so the resolutions were all carried on the back of a small % of the votes that could have been cast. All it needed to defeat these changes was for the holders of the other 120m shares to actually vote. P*ss poor by most holders!
RNS is out- all resolutions passed but it was quite close...~55% in favour for most.
Did the resolutions pass? did anyone attend?

I'm still not sure- ii have said no and HL appear to have said yes!
gov.uk guidance also says the following-
Depositary interests
UK regulation requires securities to be electronically settled in CREST. For companies registered outside the UK, this is achieved through a depository interest mechanism. The depository interest is effectively an electronic ‘wrapper’ around the ordinary share, to facilitate securities to be held electronically rather than in paper form. A company applies for depository interests representing ordinary shares to be admitted to CREST with effect from its admission to the market.
When checking the details of international shares officially listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) or admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market, known as ‘AIM’, the descriptor of each security will identify the listed/traded instrument e.g. ordinary shares. Reference to ‘(DI)’ in the descriptor simply confirms that the shares are settled electronically through CREST, and therefore is not relevant in determining ISA eligibility (because it is the shares that are listed or admitted to trading, not the depository interest).
Depository interests definitely not a problem but I'm not sure if the CHESS bit (of CDI) might be the problem, somehow incompatible with CREST perhaps? Irritating!
This is from the UK Gov web site rules on ISA:-
Shares including shares in an investment trust, are qualifying investments if:
they’re issued by a company that is incorporated anywhere in the world
they’re:
either officially listed on a recognised stock exchange
or are admitted to trading on a recognised stock exchange in the UK or the EEA
‘Company’ means any body corporate having a share capital other than:
an open-ended investment company within the meaning of section 236 of the Financial and Services and Markets Act 2000
a UK UCITS a non-UCITS retail scheme, or a recognised UCITS
Metal Tiger are quoted on the ASX so it looks as though they qualify for ISA. I would be interested in someone else's view

HL sent a message to all MTR holder that they will be able to sell but not buy and holding will be transfer to HSBC to keep so all should be fine for HL holder
On the HL website they don't trade the ASX, so no idea what's going on at HL.
Metal Tiger CDIs are now listed on ii, they're available to buy in a trading accounts or a SIPP. Strangely I did find a CDI for a different company that was available to buy in an ISA, I'll ask ii, to see if they have any explanation.
Message from H-L in my secure messages :-
I can confirm that our corporate actions team have advised that Metal Tiger (MTR) will remain eligible for holding in a stocks and shares ISA following the UK de-listing and re-listing in Australia (ASX).
Luc Enright
Senior Investment Helpdesk Consultant
I forgot to ask them about eligibility for Junior ISAs, but assume it would be the same.
There doesn't seem to be any dispute/confusion on here about eligibility for SIPPs
I've just spoken to a different individual at H-L and he also stated that the CDIs are ISA eligible. I pointed out the communication received by Jargesboy and the H-L chap is going to investigate and ring me back.
AP hope you're correct, I had it down as incompetence.
Rumor (I started) In exchange for the NRS, someones offering MTR a gold and diamond rich asteroid, but it's only legal on the ASX. Keep it under your hat, big pay day coming.
Interactive Investor have been helpful in arranging a transfer from Smart Investor and I seem to be making progress, at last. Smart Investor say that they may take 4 weeks to make the transfer but they seem to be quoting what they are allowed to take, rather than what will actually occur. My transfer is, at least, agreed between the parties so one would hope that once someone pushes the button the transfer will be more or less instantaneous. I will let you know what transpires. I have needed to telephone both ii and Smart Investor a few times to progress matters, so I suggest you do not rely on form filling alone. Both sides have been generally receptive to my prodding.
Has anyone actually had the shares transferred into an ISA. Actually I'm not sure it's that important as there's no dividends and I suspect most folks will sell before they have to worry about capital gains tax.
Looks like this is gonna sell off even more on the last day of trading on AIM mainly as people who still haven’t been able to sort out the transfer of shares throw in the towel!
Gosh this is irritating. Depository interests are listed as an ISA qualifying investment on https://www.gov.uk/guidance/stocks-and-shares-investments-for-isa-managers#depints
Is there a UK broker out there that can hold and trade ASX CDIs in an ISA? It looks like these guys at least used to (now EQ) https://www.shareview.co.uk/4/Info/Portfolio/Default/en/Home/help/investor/pages/CrestDepositoryInterests.aspx
Very irritating!
From one of MTRs RNSs
The main difference between holding CDIs and Shares is that CDI Holders hold the beneficial ownership in the Shares instead of legal title.
I think that could be the problem for ISA holdings, but the question for me, who benefits from CDIs and why not have them as shares on the ASX.
Brewery and another word come to mind, how can these people be paid a salary.

Worth checking they have that correct as the asx is noted as a recognised stock exchange on gov.uk for tax purposes.
Nice to know the board didn't take delisting lightly, just had this from ii.
ISA Customers
Due to HMRC restrictions on ISA accounts, Metal Tiger CDIs are not considered an ISA-qualifying investment. Therefore,
on or after 1st May 2023 (30 calendar days following the delisting) we will arrange to move your shares to a linked
Trading Account, opening one on your behalf if you do not already have one.
ii pal they trade and it’s no biggie
So, who have people transferred to?
Anyone STILL holding !! MTR shares and it's with HL should transfer pdq !!
Otherwise they will transfer them to a holding a/c with HSBC @ close on 27Mar.
You can continue to hold... but unable to buy more.
When wishing to sell you will be charged the following....
The following three charges will be applied to a sale:
Our telephone commission of 1% of the consideration, subject to a minimum of £20 and a maximum of £50.
Our overseas counterparty will charge commission of 0.35% of the overall deal, subject to a minimum of AUD200.00, which is currently approximately £110.
HSBC will also charge a transaction fee of £15 per sale.
==========================================
Blimey... methinks most peeps would agree their taking the pish somewhat !!!
==========================================
Hurry up and transfer to a more amenable broker would seem good advice !!!
But, in the words of the Dragons......
I'm out !

Thanks. I had mistakenly used the Australian code in the transfer form. This does, however, raise a question. If ii accepts my MTR shares that were bought on AIM using the GB code, what will happen when the AIM listing is presumably cancelled and the shares are converted, again presumably, to the Australian code? I have asked ii to confirm that the support will continue after the AIM listing is cancelled. If it does not, and I am then forced to sell the shares on ASX, there is little point in transfering the shares to them, other than possibly to get a higher price.
I had no problem with ii. Interactive Invester do support Metal Tiger. At cash and transfer menu when selecting the shares to transfer type BMQC069 for metal tiger.
Having completed the online form and selected MTR from the list of shares to be transferred from Smart Investor into ii, I have to day received this message:
"YOUR ACTION IS REQUIRED (Stocks needs to be sold): your investments, highlighted below (Metal Tiger plc), are not supported on our platform. There are no alternative share classes which we can support to enable the transfer. An option available to you is to sell the investments and transfer over the resulting cash balance. You will retain the tax wrapper on the cash if your account is an ISA. Please contact us via secure message or telephone to confirm how you wish to proceed and we will pass the instruction on to your previous provider. Alternatively, you can instruct us to cancel your transfer"
I have no idea what ii are playing at and I have messaged them for clarification. Has anyone else received the same message?
