Oh how I would love a phase 3 IBS licence deal to be announced. Or a US placing at a small discount. Who knows - the US brokers may be overwhelmed with interest and you get a placing at a premium. They may be brought 'inside' and told some key inside info. Let's see. No PDRM deals at the moment tell me something big is brewing. Tactically speaking, the board will probably wait until after 14 November to carry out any raise - as i suspect DDDD will be flying upwards after 14 Nov
@orgazoid - negative I would say! But a bounce from here would be pretty bullish for the long term uptrend. Really nothing beats the fundamentals this and I am playing the long game here. I think this is a company to own and not trade. But good top up price of this doesn’t break down further
@Terrier - you’re a good lad! Wonder which short will be first to close? When you have lots of shorts on - the first mover wins... I always like buying stocks where the shorts are based on nothing fundamental and just technical/chart trading
RE: Where is all my critics now ????21 Oct 2020 12:42
Ha. Let’s try and be civil. To be fair, lots of people calling this down to the 80s have been vindicated. This is a game (albeit with hefty financial implications!). Got to take the rough with the smooth. I’m relaxed - we’ll see DDDDs true value soon enough
Ha. I feel like a dumb-ass for sure. I'm struggling to understand why this was valued at almost £700m a few years ago (at which time Neil Woodford thought the company was massively undervalued!) and yet the market cap has fallen to £120m (and obviously much lower in the March crash) despite the fantastic strides taken in that period. Anyway, no point complaining - the market is harsh and clearly us long term shareholders are a crazy bunch!
RE: The key announcements that could blow this up:21 Oct 2020 09:05
I agree with your comments on IBS - I was rather saying that an update on the plans for phase 3 rather than phase 3 commencing anytime soon. Agree re. Covid - to me this is just some potential icing on the cake - the read-out will be most interesting for Asthma. Re. 14 November - we shall see but from the previous RNS on the conference, it appears to me that new data will be revealed. Of course, all speculation - just my best guess.
The key announcements that could blow this up:21 Oct 2020 08:47
In the following order of importance imo:
1. Positive Keytruda oncolocgy update - expected on or before 14 November 2. New data re MRX0158-001 as a new monotherapeutic treatment for cancer - expect some initial data on or before 14 November 3. Plans for roll out of Phase 3 trial for Blautix and any potential partnership deal - by the end of the year 4. Update on any plans for NASDAQ listing - Unknown 5. Confirmation of new funding with new US investors - Unknown 6. Asthma trial update - End of the year 7. Covid trial update - End of the year

Totally agree. I hate sounding ‘rampy’ but this has the potential to be valued at a billion in the next 12 months, IF ONCOLOGY RESULTS PROGRESS AS WE EXPECT. This is just looking at Oncology! To me DDDD is being valued as a chancer company in a mucky scientific field (just look at its market cap decline over the years!) despite the game changing data from 2020. People can spout shiyte about a gap down to 80, 70 pence or whatever but at the end of the day how many companies on AIM have the potential to 10,20,30 bag in a couple of years. Reminds me of Ceres Power from a few year ago - a pioneer in a new space and look at at now - £1-2bill company. Directors own 20% too and I imagine they know that they will be getting very very rich soon. Also, no PDMR buys recently despite the obvious excitement - could they be in a restricted period. I imagine they are given the data due to be released is probably known to them. Also R Griffith buying another 500k recently - he will be in the know about the potential imminent sentiment shift. As I’ve said, I’m on board for 3 years whatever happens. I’ve put in £100k which is a Very decent chunk of my total worth - I am confident and am hoping that this will make me my first million. Obviously not nice to see the share price continually fall - and sure - it seems to be really struggling over the last month BUT ask yourself. Will this be valued at 100m or 1000 million in two-three years time. Place your bets!
