Brutal overreaction today. Absolute sitting duck now. Even assuming slow growth in the bottom line, this is far too cheap.

Anyone know when then next update is ?

As the recent RNS' state that discussions are at a preliminary stage, i would expect that we'll get an update shortly before 10 June that says something along the lines of "we have received preliminary bids from X and/or Y that the management is minded to consider recommending and therefore have requested, and the Takeover Panel has agreed to, extend the put up or shut up deadline by a further 2/3/4 weeks". I get the strong feeling that Gamma's life as a UK listed company is coming to an end. And the takeover price is likely 22-35% higher than the current share price. Good risk reward here, as the valuation is still strong even in this takeover scenario

When is the next trading update expected ?

I wonder if Inflexion Private Equity might emerge as another named bidder?

FWIW Paul Hill said on his Friday Vox show with Paul Scott that this should go for £14 minimum

Go compare return to growth in March and April (revenue forecast to increase in H2) is a positive given it’s a massive cash generator for the company. No doubt the results are poor but the market cap MORE than reflects this

Obviously ugly, as previously announced. But it appears the rot is stopping somewhat with improving trading trends in March and the beginning of Q2. Positive comments from the CEO. Crucially, no new profit warning, which is a major relief. Guidance remains unchanged. A very good risk reward play from here IMO.

With the company’s large buyback, a small sentiment shift from extremely dire to just moderate direness could put the shorts in trouble. I make Futute on the most shorted UK listed companies? I think there will be a squeeze from tomorrow. GLA!

On the flip side, this is all known. The valuation is absolutely in the toilet but it’s still generating substantial free cash flow and is profitable. I suspect the brave could do extremely well from here, especially if some lower performing assets are sold soon (as intimated many times in the Company’s announcements).

You're right re. FY26. I had hastily looked at Stockopedia forecasts that were not correct

Cracking results. A 10% beat against the recent FY 26 upgrade in Feb. An upgrade for FY 27 too - Haven’t seen the extent of that upgrade yet but imagine it will be 10-15% (which, given they were previously projecting no growth against FY 26, will very likely be beaten again). Company trading very well with not a single negative in the results as far as I can see. What an amazing UK listed company. 5 year EPS CAGR slowly increasing from 15% with the 21% posted for FY 26.
