Market likes it. I presume that the forecast earnings are looking v attractive for a £50-60m market cap company. Obviously us pond life retail shareholders are given no visibility over that at all.

The company are either selling off a chunk of the business or being taken private. "the Board is actively advancing a range of promising commercial and strategic initiatives focused on long term value creation." To me, the most likely interpretation of this is that they have a few offers on the table to sell a part of the business with the sale proceeds subject to some form of earn out. Either that or there is a commercial JV being set up to spin off part of the business. Or, the option I fear, is that they are going to screw retail shareholders and delist and make the argument this will streamline the business for its long term benefit. Either way, I think there will clearly be some nasties in the results, once published. SHOCKING comms from Managenent. Disgraceful

Surely the funds (apart from the main PE shareholder) and retail shareholders will have the power to block a take private deal without a decent cash exit?

Ha! Now a suspension RNS with absolutely no details. Treating retail shareholders like second rate trash. I'm sure the major players are being kept updated.

Whatever happens now (good or bad - obviously very likely bad), the governance at HSS needs to improve massively. Management must surely be unbelievably embarrassed

Share price just tanked 20 % on no news. Shocking stuff. Disgraceful and unorderly market in HSS shares. Serious investigation to follow surely

Presumably they are trying to hoodwink shareholders? Slim chance there is genuinely some sort of positive deal on the table. Never seen results be held up for an unsigned deal before.

... but hopefully the sector is turning...

Why aren't management buying shares?

The liquidity in CTA is shocking! IG isn't allowing me to even get a quote to sell or buy a poxy £500!

I am perplexed too. This must be a sitting duck for a takeover. Even a 100% premium would seem far too cheap. Bizarre and crappy UK markets. Poor liquidity. Sector out of favour. Lack of dividends or buybacks probably means it's off a lot of radars. Doubled my position today

As expected. Guidance reaffirmed implying a market cap that should be much much higher (at least 100%)

Listened to the webcast. New guidance is £19-20m PBT for full year. Not sure what it was before but appears to only be a minor downgrade... anyone else have any other insight?

They warned on profits without saying by how much! Pretty poor by management

The results will be absolutely fine. Market just nervous given the total shyite show going on at number 11. It will all hinge on the outlook statement, which I suspect won't be glowing... hence the advanced sell off. Expectations are low though. This is my largest position
