What looks fantacy today may become reality tomorrow.
Never say never!
this time next year Rodders!
Just for fun while we are discussing dividends.
If Matd manage to prove up Velociraptor, Phoenix and Fox in block V with the estimated 800 million barrels recoverable then dividends would very much become a factor in the decision to invest here.
A 25 year exploitation licence with a ten year extension would mean that Matd would have to extract 440 thousand barrels per week to deplete its resources based on a 17% recovery.
I know it would take a phenomenal amount of wells and pipeline to make that happen but that is the amount of oil we are talking about.
Should we prove up that 800 million barrels then our NPV 10 at $60 per barrel would be $4.8 billion and $8 billion at $100 per barrel.
Next year could hint at some very big things for Matd.
Just for fun mind you
By and large Positive Vibes is right. This is not going to be share that one would tend to keep in the Portfolio. This is one (hopefully) where you work out what profit you want and take that price maybe a bit more just to be certain. One may just leave a few shares in to see how far it runs. Personally i am going to see what the market response is the price i need. If i can sell my entire holding one go then it means there is still mileage in the market estimation of the SP but if the market will only let me sell piecemeal then i may well off load the lot but will either be in a certain time frame or price frame. Dividends no, Return on Price increase yes definitely. But first of all let us get the news although must admit i have also been dreaming ahead.
I often wonder the same thing about you badprofit......... why would anyone listen to what you think of this share, when you are so bad at investing, that you sold at a loss, just before the rise.
Maybe stop being bitter, accept your losses and move on
PV do you get paid per post or are you on a fixed price contract?
I don't think we should expect any dividends from production as revenues will be used for expansion.
Mike Buck will be looking to grow Petro Matad into a mid tier O&G outfit.
However, on the flip side Petrovis, the largest shareholder, will be looking for an eventual return on investment
Fortunately the company have a well defined, accelerated growth strategy working with interested potential partners, so a couple of years down the line is feasible imo but lets see.
Lets get production up and running to fund expansion first, which should see a major appreciation in mkt cap.
We can then look at what will likely be a huge eventual yield compared to the current share price and for those of us holding stock at that time.
Regards.
Just looked retained loses at 130m GDP.
Before the dividend you have clear all the accumulated loses over the years. I think dividend very unlikely I am afraid,
If we get LP, and then extract 1 million barrels of oil per year for 20 years, how will we benefit?
Share price will go up.
Dividend paid annually?
Profit sharing?
Let's say for every 10,000 shares.
Just a question to all, not ramping, just dreaming.
They are corrupt officials, not nobheads. But there is notting to worry about since our CEO-empty talker and traveler enjoys a full support of Mongolian government. Lol
Avo,
I have to say that I enjoyed that one way more than I should have.
Sweet!
The meeting with the World Bank Country Director took earlier today

The markets across the board are down today, so not surprising to see some price slippages across almost all stocks.
I doubt that will have any impact on the overall uptrend for the MATD share price.
Apart from the multiple imminant Newsflow & Operational rollout due, we have a potent macro economic landscape which should greatly favour Petro Matad and its shareholders.
Renewables - Mara K Warwick (World Bank Country Director for China, S Korea & Mongolia) meeting at the State Great Khural in Uluumbaatar
"I am pleased to announce that the World Bank will launch programs in 2023 to strengthen good governance, encourage the use of RENEWABLE ENERGY and tackle climate change issues".
'The World Bank is paying particular attention to small & medium sized enterprises....emphasising laws & regulations passed by the State Great Khural correlating with the World Bank reports & recommendations, commending Mongolia re: legal reforms' (to enable said business activity) (paraphrased from the longer statement). Source: montsame.mn/en/read/309886
That feeds into the current Petro Matad initiative in that sector and current 'Advanced stage' talks with established potential partners in the space.
Regarding fuel, "the decrease in diesel fuel imported from Russia poses a potential fuel shortage" with supplies currently imported from China & Russia. Source: montsame.mn/en/read/309793
The dependency on foreign fuel is an obvious burden for the country and hence the Govt prioritising local production, leading into MATD's operational privatisation and Mining Minister's statement re: imminant Special DesignationLP issuance.
This us all against a backdrop of a dire economic situation for Mongolia, as reflected in the State Budget.
MATD are very well positioned with justifiable confidence for a major Re-rate immanantly due and off multiple near term news releases.
Research the points independently, which should clarify the excellent position Petro Matad are now in.
Regards
Lol. Maybe you should give them a call and explain to them in that language
i call this the yo-yo share now it up its down come on you mongolian nobheads give us the LP
It's a tendering process for new licences for exploration.
Giving a list of areas for tender
So you are saying the government cannot get involved in licenses for oil and gas becasue of a law going back to 2018. No possibility that they may have amended that law having realised it does not work and the mining minister is lying to MB.
Based on the Law on Minerals and Government Resolution No. 243 of 2018, the Department of Minerals and Petroleum will participate in the selection process for special licenses for mineral exploration in the following areas, except for water, oil, natural gas, radioactive and commonly distributed minerals Enterprises are invited to submit proposals. It includes:
Fields to be announced for exploration license tenders
An area called Bilut Uul with 27194.14 ha in Tsogt-Ovoo, Ulziit sub-districts of Mungogov, Dundgov provinces
sorry I meant parliament sessions ends 27th Jan not 2th Jan (typo)
I think we are more likely to be granted the LP a few weeks before the end of the Autumn session of parliament (someone said 2th Jan?) Nothing much can be done (if at all) over winter and the ministers don't want the ear ache, so I predict will leave it until the end. Hoping for an earlier decision though!
Personally I found FA to be a good and informative poster here on MATD.....but I didn't agree much with him on POLY (and RUSS/UKR etc.).....did note his style however and the poor spelling when emotionally under pressure.
Not that it really matters.....but I do see that you Positivevibes....seemed to have a huge break in posting...exactly at the time FA was most alive......and my detective skills would have me on alert here...lol.
Am I a bit right?? lol?
You're spot on PV. Unfortunately, BP is bitter as he sold out literally just before the rise, and made a loss, so now hes jealous of everyone else who didnt make a stupid decision like he did
