Make short selling shares illegal in the UK, like Germany and others.
Short selling of stocks in the UK causes instability in companies share prices. In many cases £millions can be wiped off the value of a company by coordinated groups of short sellers spreading misinformation and rumours, causing investors to panic and sell their stock.
How on earth can some other company loan out something you own without your consent and the company or person who has borrowed it use it to influence the market in the opposite direction with the massive percentages of shares they are able to borrow and not own outright? Its fraudulent and corrupt, legal theft authorised by the government and needs to be banned and stopped.

Hold TLW but purchased here today as I believe we are rolling into an oil crisis where demand outstrips supply. The UK gov among many run by idiots who are taxing oil producers out of the North Sea while paying to import energy.
Took 7 months but glad I bought some more, further to go yet !
Positive operational update RNS this morning , not showing here yet, with current energy prices this should be a lot higher I think !

Only recently jumped into this one, seems a good price for a reasonably sound company. Looks like we could be in for a lot of sideways movement for some time yet though.

Ginoir, you certainly called the 450 correct a year ago !!
checking in for the first time in months, can't believe a) I was the last poster here and b) I was "waiting for 450"..! thinking of dipping my toe in again now though, just not sure if here or on NYSE where vols are way greater - pros and cons...
Based on NYSE experience with KOS the market will likely overreact, in which case might be worth a look. I will wait for 450 here.
its a duster

Having profitably dipped in and out of KOS on the NYSE over the past year or two, looking to get in here once the dust has settled, hopefully get a value opportunity somewhere in the 450-500 range in the not too distant future if recent volatility continues...
