Really struggling to see how you could possibly equate GGP's meteoric rise to any potential rise with GWMO.
GGP discovered a world-class underground mine deposit that was perfectly placed next to Newcrest's old mine which was struggling for material at that time, getting them into a perfect JV which brought production forward by multiple years, and they also have multiple other locations of promise.
GWMO have a proof of concept that they can produce unquantified amounts of gold from piles of tailings, and a CEO that doesn't seem at all confident in the interviews I've seen from him over the past few months, to the point where Katie from Proactive Investors looked a little taken-aback and said '...well, full off confidence then... and changed the subject.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure GWMO can xBag a few times from here but to even mention it in the same breath as GGP is madness. Not trying to be mean, but you surely need a reality check - maybe someone knowledgeable here will tell me that I'm wrong and that GWMO are literally GGP but I'm not convinced. Btw, I have a decently large holding here and not looking to add more at this stage so don't call me a de-ramper. I just think it's in the best interest for everyone to look at things realistically and not be overly optimistic, as excessive optimism just leads to people getting shocked and burned.

While I'm sure that there is every effort being made to generate a good deal that is beneficial and fair to both sides, I think it's inaccurate to say that "Piper are thrashing out the best deal for shareholders". If anything, as a huge firm, they will generate the best deal for the party with the most money/influence, which is Nornickel (possibly) rather than EUA.
Still, this is my biggest holding after GGP and I am hopeful of a great deal regardless!
No answer regarding 12pm release, but they wouldn't release it over the weekend and the 18th was a Friday.
If it rises like UFO I'll be sure to heavily sell a lot of my position here! Have 1 million shares in UFO, average 0.7p. When it hit 3p I was in profit of like 21000 quid. Fully regret not top-slicing. Wouldn't be surprised to see UFO hitting 1p soon. The share is languishing and people are losing confidence in the near-term future of it.
Nice one, thanks a lot for the response!
Bumpedy bumpppp
Drill results / JVs etc.?
Hi,
Just bought my first shares in this company after hearing them mentioned a couple of times online and after watching this Crux Investor interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZMNrNAfBc0
Was thinking I might wait until tomorrow to invest on a pullback after this nice little run it's having but figured I might as well just get in now. Are we expecting any news coming anytime soon? GLA
Can you provide a link?
Hi, I was wondering what people think of the near-to-long-term future of this company is if no sale goes through? I don't trust Russia at all so have a nagging voice in the back of my head, despite believing all of our patience will pay off soon. I'm assuming that if no sale we as shareholders will still see great value but just on a much longer timescale?
Oh damn, could you give me a very quick explanation of why EUA could be 8p in a year? That's a major shift in perspective from when I was following it a month ago. Thanks for the response btw... Will likely be choosing GGP for the safety aspect.
Hi,
I have recently had to take a break from following stocks for a month as I had to work 60 hour weeks so have not been able to keep up. I already have a 10k in GGP and 7k in EUA, and have 5k free cash that I want to put into one of them, then move the profits to the one that sells last. As far as I can remember, people were thinking that EUA would be getting bought out by January 2021 for around £1.10 per share, and GGP would be getting (at least partially) bought out around Feb/March for around 90p.
Is that still accurate? What do you think will go first? Thanks for any help! GLA.
"More delays is what he has in stall for us there. "
Proper Bristolian, are ya?
Hence my confusion as to why it is up yet another 20% today after going up 50% yesterday. I expected a 20% dip this morning tbh.
Yet STILL up another 20%!? How is this happening? Surely a pretty big dip coming before the imminent news sends it back up again.
Obviously super happy about it. But 50% in 1 day? Madness when there has been no new RNS. There has been the same volume of buying as selling today. I hear rumblings of a good interview with Proactive Investors, but couldn't see it on their Youtube page over the last few days of uploads. Could anyone link it to me if they find it?
Hydrogen and MrSipp.
A 7/10 from Rick Rule is actually a 3/10 by conventional standards. For some reason, he does 10/10 as the worst of the worst and 1/10 for the best. I recently got my portfolio valued and he gave it a 7 as well lol.
Apologies if this is obvious but I'm entirely new to M+A processes etc. and relatively new to investing as a whole. The article that has been going around today with the guy stating that his company will make an offer within 6-9 months (basically around now) said that the offer would be for roughly #4 billion GBP. Would this offer, if it was accepted, effectively be the new market cap right before the sale and therefore the SP would go up accordingly? So, for example, say that the current MCAP is 1 billion with 30p/share and we accepted a bid of 4 billion, would that make our shares worth 120p?
Thanks for any answer!
The conservative posters on this board seem to think around 75p once the sale is made (depending on what/how many of the assets are sold), and the more hopeful members seem to think up to 300p.
I personally don't care. I'd be more than happy with 75p. Anything else will just get spent on cocaine and hookers.
Positivevibes, out of interest what are are those pure lies that you have seen here recently? I have seen some negative sentiment but can't remember seeing anything that was necessarily a 'lie'.
If anything I'd suggest that, quite ironically, it is your post there that contained a lie in some sense. You state as a fact that TK full finance is occurring within a month, placing it among actual facts to make it seem more concrete. The fact is, the issue of funding is NOT guaranteed to occur without KEFI having to finance a whole load of it themselves, which would be rubbish for us shareholders. I'd say that you're being purposefully disingenuous there.
To avoid getting bashed by nearly everyone here, I would like to say that I still hold a very large part of my portfolio in KEFI and am very bullish for their long term future. I'm just trying to keep people honest here. Avoiding things you don't want to hear only leads to tears. GLA.
