Why did you put 'placing' in quotes? It was literally, by definition, a placing.
Hi, quick noob question - why is it that people always talk about a JV as something that will raise the share price significantly? On the surface, it just seems like you are giving up some of the % of potential profits. Is it because of the increased security of the company as a going concern due to the potential capital influx from the JV partner, and the reduced costs of mining / production etc.?
Cheers, and see you on the moon!
Last Friday I submitted a withdrawal request from Trading212 to allow me to put some funds into UFO/GGP/KEFI through my untouched Hargreaves Lansdown ISA.
Still not been authorised! And when it does get through, there is a likelihood it will be a drip-feeding process. Really annoying waking up this morning and I could have been 40% up already!
Hi, I was just wondering which brokers you guys used to buy shares in UFO. I have a T212 account which I use for general trading as it is commission free. It doesn't have too much choice though, so I made a trial account with both SaxoTrader and InteractiveBroker, but neither of them have it. My next stop is Hargreaves Lansdown, but they're known for having a pretty poor selection of stocks, so not holding out much hope. Cheers!
Just had a quick look, and I must say that from an initial, surface level view this looks like a pretty decent mid/long-term prospect. To quote a comment from one of the threads in that board:
"We have several Tier 1 assets here and for me 300M cap in this commodity bull run is not a huge task.
The iron ore asset is a perfect example .
Just say it's the only asset we have. Fenix has 7.6Mt DSO and they are $51M Aus .
We have minimum 74MMt @51% so 36Mt which is 5 times more and we are 9M.
Bill said we have minium 30M ounce silver , mouth watering grades.
Elizabeth hill produced at 2000 g/t Ag over 1M ounce.
We had over 400 g/t in Mexico over 96 grab samples. They are savage grades at $15 dollar silver
Donovan2 I believe to be a monster. Thats going to blow away the industry.
Cu grades of 3.2% , the big mines i Chilli are mining average grade at .06% and economic.
Im excited , Im holding. Lets hope we get the next placing at the right level . Get a JV under our belt and get some product near term."
I will definitely look into this one further. Cheers to all!
So I am new to AIM and mining/exploration stocks in general so am still in the very early stages of trying to learn, but I was wondering something... I've only been reading this particular board for a couple of weeks, but why is it that people talk about Scallywag as the prospect that will (or will not, in some opinions) be the more immediate mover of share price when it is Black Hills (I think, haven't double-checked) that is the target that has been defined by the company as an 'advanced project'?
Is it simply because Scally is one of the bits of news that is expected soonest and so naturally people are talking about it more, or is it that Black Hills has already been priced in to some extent? I haven't really heard much at all about Black Hills in the 2 weeks or so that I've been reading this board, which is strange considering I guess the company considers BH to be roughly at the same readiness as Hav which we talk about a lot.
Bristol
What other companies are you guys looking at for potential multi-bag returns in the next couple of years?
For me, I have KEFI Minerals for gold, and Denison Mines / a very small position in Bannerman Resources for uranium.
Reading some of your entry points and your weathered histories with this share, I feel a right plonker for only getting on board at 13.6p a few weeks ago!
Ah well, up 10% already. Onwards and upwards!
A mere 333,333 for me, 10% of my portfolio. Thinking of making it 500,000 though.
That's not fair. I never suggested I knew a lot about KEFI's issues, all my posts about their issues are asking questions about them.
So if we all know there will be dilution at some point why am I getting abused for asking a question about dilution!?
It was a hypothetical question, don't cry about it. I am a KEFI bull in the medium-long term and am actively invested so don't compare me to oilbit just because I'm not asking directions to HAA so I can polish his balls for him. I have been reading this board every day and while I do believe TK will be funded before financial close, it has not been confirmed yet and so it is only sensible to wonder about these things. The only thing that has changed since the regulars on this board were worrying about not getting full funding is the passage of time that has passed. No solid news. This is my money and my livelihood at stake.
How much cash do KEFI need to raise for funding for the Tulu Kapi project? I am just trying to figure out what percentage we will be diluted if that happens. Assuming if KEFI has a market cap of say 40 million and they need to raise 20 million through dilution, would our shares go from 100% value to 66%? Never had to deal with the possibility of dilution before so not certain on how it works.
Hi, I'm also pretty new. Other people you should probably pay basically no attention to are Positivevibes (only posts literally copy/paste from RNS, or ridiculous ramping), and Overman (only crawls out of the woodwork to call someone a KEFI-basher). Other than that, it's a good group of people here.
How does this announcement on grades / % compare to people's initial expectations? Not as much gold as expected?
Thanks for the welcome and thanks for the video, Geoff! Will put it on my watchlist for this evening.
Why do you think it will not happen at all if it doesn't happen this year?
And what do you mean when you say it will all go to Saudi project?
Thanks so much for the quality response! This group seems so much more peaceful and respectable than the KEFI minerals group. That place is a toxic dump.
For those interested, I got the information about Harry's salary and the percentage of shares he owns in KEFI from this webpage.
