Looking oversold.... Hope it doesn't dump heavily invested here
The Chief Legal Officer of the company doesn't think so
Is it in auction
Be careful. You might not have translated that correctly 🙃
From ADVFN
OPEC has called on the Iraqi Oil Minister to allow the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to resume oil exports.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has officially asked the Federal Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani to allow the export of oil from the Kurdistan Region through the Turkish port, a source in the Federal Oil Ministry told Iraqi media.
According to the same source, OPEC has asked the Iraqi oil minister to allow the Kurdistan Regional Government to export 200,000 barrels of oil per day through the Turkish port.
What was the Iraqi oil minister's response to OPEC's request? The source said Hayyan Abdul Ghani has sent the request to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani and is awaiting his response.
The Iraq-Turkey oil pipeline has been suspended since March 25, 2023. The pipeline has the capacity to export 1.4 million barrels of oil per day. However, it has not exported that much oil so far, and what was exported before the suspension was 450,000 barrels per day.

How does Erdogan intend paying off Turkey’s ICC fine of $1.5B (and mounting) ?
Hope Baghdad have not made a backdoor deal to starve out Kurdistan from exporting through Turkey’s pipes in return for waiving the fine ?
Then again ….. nothing would surprise around here.
Why would anyone buy before good news is announced and the price reflects the good news?
I can't begin to think.
I post the following just as a reminder that not everything you read on ME websites can be taken as gospel.
From Shafaq.com (English) on 19/4/24, al-Sudani speaking to Biden:
"ISIS is not a threat now to Iraq and most of its members are now hiding in the mountains in caves in the Sahara Desert..."
Where to begin?
1) Why do Americans insist on expressing their credentials by their third generation heritage...how insecure is that?;
2) What are his credentials to lead the APIKUR 'resistance'? Certainly not his Congressional contacts who are, at the very least, peripheral;
3) Who was responsible for his appointment and why?;
4) When do his Mum and Dad feed him his Farley's Rusks and milk before changing his nappy and putting him to bed?
So naive..
APIKUR is not involved in this negotiation at any meaningful level, and Caggins III does not have the gravitas to influence the outcome in any meaningful way.
Clearly top of his list is Kurdistan oil exports, while water is clearly being held as a bargaining chip. Iraq has got plenty of "flunky", things for him to sign but clearly that's not why he's here.
Much more promising, light at tunnel end possibly. well worth a read.

Def pump and dump
Rot so what? They have already said multiple times that they were going to reopen but they don't there's no indication whatsoever that anybody intends on allowing Kurdistan to send oil to the west. Just another pump and dump and why anybody would buy unless the news is actually out I do not know
In the background maybe there's a possibility that there will be a takeover, with legitimised contracts GKP is ideal for that, if you are looking at 111notout or goodnightcharlie he's a constant multiple accounts spammer on ADVFN and reposts as if it's someone else. BUT it has happened to other oil companies in the region so - maybe 🤷🏻♂️
Anyone got a view on the stuff on twitter that GKP is in the process of being sold, its been posted allover twitter/X
Looking very positive here and Genel rising very fast!!!!
Wheres Ponzi??????

I wonder if there is a Guinness Book of Records category for false dawns?
Here's hoping....
What planet have you been o this past few weeks.
No news yet but Erdogan has actually arrived in Baghdad ( at long last) now let’s see what happens next.
To cause this?
Good things come to those that wait ............and buy low ...... :-)
Could see GKP/GENEL soar past £1.50, fingers crossed we can get back to paying out dividends again this year
"How laughable is broad fords comments that GKP oil is not wanted !!!!
He never has had a good word or comment on the GKP board since his pal Tony left
GLA LTH the Guy is pure comedy"
Opulentia, if you cannot take the price volatility that comes with being invested in a stock that has a speculative risk rating, why don̛'t you invest in lower risk stocks with less share price volatility e.g. Unilever, a large cap stock with pricing power from owning branded, arguably ,must-have unhealthy ultra processsed foods? We are a price-taker in a host country that does not pay on time and which controls everything we can do. What is wrong with Broadford̛'s posts? He is one of the more knowledgeable posters. You seem to want to shut down all bearish posters. I have not sold a single share since all the purchases I made for a relative in April and May 2020, although I have a book loss due to inheriting from that relative at a later higher death price, and have recently added more for a different relative at 99.9 something pence. I have no idea if this will double on a favourable outcome from the pipeline reopening or will plummet on becoming a binary litigation play dependent on shareholders for funds. All outcomes seem within the realms of possibility. I hope for a favourable one though. Why don̛'t you stick to safer stocks instead of trying to shut down posts you don̛'t like?
Believe it is a glimmer only, like to think more, but the Iraqi oil ministers are full of double dealing, while saying one thing but doing the opposite.
However Turkey does have a lot of money tied up in Kurdish IOC's and the export pipeline.
If Iraq is trying to rush the alternative pipeline into service the only reason is to try and hammer kurdistan more. Just unfortunate that the IOC's are pawns in the middle of the struggle.
Here’s a translation from a link that @gavsgear posted previously.
“According to Al-Lajmawi, the visit will also witness "the signing of a strategic framework agreement within the security, economic, and development fields, and progress in the water and energy files, and the process of resuming the export of Iraqi oil through Turkey”
Three clauses there, will be interesting to see what he signs, which bits get progressed but remain unsigned and which bits are still being processed by the time he leaves.
Week ahead, hopefully we some real!!! progress political progress
