Rom... I spent a few hours with Gemini and Chatgpt challenging a thesis extensively re the role of Algos abd the oil price disconnect. As with other experts, and i am definitely not one, it looks like the algos may have gone too far and we may see some panic this month re oil. Just look at the SPR, maritime reports and weekly draws... Hard evidence we have overshot to the downside massively. Happy to be proved wrong... We will see

I hope your bith right re 72...last time we had nouse over the weekend... Oil opened up slighlty and then tanked..the straits is a mess and its going to take months to reach any reasonable agreement although the world seems ti have coped pretty well so far

Now oil down 2 % great talks supposedly, big macs all round, iran can have whatever they want. Even if the strait stays close oil is only going down.... Wtf

Has oil overshot to the downside or is there more to come. Honestly cannot believe the fall given all that has happened. Strait of Hormuz blocked in does what.... Elevate oil for a few months and hey presto back ti normal

Sadly i dont think people realise how dangerous iran is and what a disaster this is. When i say Iran i mean the radicalist leaders not the people. The world is now a more dangeous place and once the deal is revealed it cements the weakness off the USA.
