Hi Zoros ..
still here and 'all in' ..
keeping a watching brief for now ..
as somewhat bored with all the bickering on here ..
scan daily and pick out the interesting and useful posters and posts ..
now waiting, like most, for PFS and MRE ..
remain convinced that its just a matter of time before rewards a'plenty ..
gla lth ..
zoros - This shy poster is still following the news from the shadows. You left Condorlini off your list of big holders. I’m still all-in with GGP and prepared to wait patiently.
See you at the next Stag meet.
Good evening Value Seeker, good to hear about your wise investment plans back then.
With over 9 million shares you will most certainly be able to reap the benefits as and when GGP 'comes home'.
Glad you felt the need to post tonight and best wishes for your child's recovery. Don't leave it so long next time?
There are a few 'shy' hard hitters we hear very little if anything from:
Coach777
Dimvestor
Ramos
John678
Ipad
Dodgemeister
KnParker
gritin
Rangerwillow
Chartbuster
Reddirt
Droverman
Fletch11
Ozau
farmerlad
alewarrior
dalgarno9
luxP
Urbanracer
Christow
All of the above each have in excess of 5 million GGP drinking vouchers, yet remain magnanimously silent. They came, they saw, they conquered...
Respect.

;-)
Think you've misunderstood my post Value Seeker. I was merely joking with your words as your message said:
"Callum, if you're reading this, I and my family owe you a loft" ;-)
Wishing you and yours all the best :-)
@ notrader
Of course you are correct: I ment 2017 not 1997, my apology for that.
@GGPThruandtru
No loft, no jacuzzi, no other luxury. I have a seriously sick daughter which for the foreseeable future will be financially dependent for medical treatment and living. As any responsible father in the world would do I do my very best to support her.
value_seeker
Value seeker... haven't laughed so much in a long time... thank you... keep it up.
Value Seeker - well deserved praise for Callum. But you would have needed a DeLorean to have been invested since 1997, as the company was founded in 2005!
TT - that's a pretty special report in it's own right - so thanks I've not seen it before.
Shows Havieron is itself going to be so special.
Not at all! All good minds think alike, clearly!
Apologies Timber Trader I have only just read your message. I just called in for a few moments - humble apologies - the plaudits are all yours.
bhp billiton did a useful presentation on world class mineral deposits - a bit dated (2006) but still useful reference material.

In particular slide 7 (page 6) talks about 3.2Moz for gold as being world class. Do any companies we know exhibit that characteristic? If they do I would be buying. Wait, hold on a dog gone moment! :
Definitions commonly used by geologists
• Donald Singer (1995)
Upper 10 percent of deposits in his database ordered in terms of contained metal. This equates to 3.2 Moz for gold, 77 Moz for silver, 2 Mt for copper, 1 Mt for lead and 1.7 Mt for zinc.
• Peter Laznicka (1999)
“An informal term applied to ore deposits with an exceptionally large tonnage of economically recoverable metals”. …. “The term attests to an exceptional economic benefit these deposits provide, or potentially provide, and consequently this class of deposits is eagerly sought by the industry”.
December 2019
Hope it’s a nice loft Value…with a jacuzzi and everything - very nice of you to offer that to him (thumbs up emoji)
Being a GGP shareholder since 1997 I did as much desktop research as I could - as far as my time and limited knowledge base allowed me to do - and finally decided in December to attend the AGM in London. So I took a plane from Germany and was able to met Callum in person. This AGM and especially the conversation afterwards with Callum was without exaggeration one of the few pivotal moments in my over 35 year long investment history. It indeed to some extent changed my life. Callum didn´t say any single word that was not in the public domain by then, but he patiently explained what they found and put it into perpective. My feeling afterwards was that this is an expert to whom I can trust my hard earned cash. And I was not disappointed, on the contrary. I never sold a single share and I topped up GGP as much as I could afford, even a few Starvest as they offer a good discount to GGP shares. And I sit patiently firm on my hands as this incredible story is just beginning to unfold.
Callum, if you read this, I and my family owe you a loft. I wish you all the best and sincerely hope that your knowledge will be avaliable for GGP for a very long time.
In deep gratitude, value_seeker
The graph on P35 is very telling!! Thanks Timber for putting the link up.
1) They generate significant wealth over an extended period of time
2) Help launch major mining companies
3) Create new markets through lower prices (Climax mine for Molybdenum)
4) Encourages further investment in exploration
5) Promotes innovation (flotation, autogenous smelting, synthetic rutile)
6) Stimulates other mines to set up in the area
7) Encourages downstream processing
8) Encourages support industries (Sudbury, Johannesburg, Kalgoorlie/Perth)
9) Assists in the social and political development of the region
10) Potentially lower environmental impact
Well, I don't know about anyone else, but those benefits suit me as a long term investor in Greatland Gold. I see (1) & (2) as slam dunks for GGP already. The rst will probably follow...
OK, that's me done for now...Have a great weekend and let's see what the coming week brings! TT
WHAT DO WE MEAN BY A WORLD-CLASS DEPOSIT?
AND WHY ARE THEY SPECIAL ?
OK, just for information, this is one report I've read several times. Make your own mind up...
https://www.bhp.com/-/media/bhp/documents/investors/reports/2006/amecconference.pdf?
PS. Note the use of, "WORLD CLASS" on the inscription by our own company about Havieron! GLA!
