I am among the group who live a short distance from Tig and have met and had a meal out with him & Suzy when she was fit and well. The group used to meet infrequently for a pub supper but the reunions have come to a halt this year, once Tig became a full time care worker.
I am confident that his friends and family will give him support at this difficult time.
I’m looking forward to enjoyable times ahead when we GGP investors once again meet at The Stag. You are in our thoughts David.
Hola Speedy
My sympathies to you both & I hope your wife can continue to lead a full and enjoyable life. I have had the pleasure of talking to you both at The Stag on more than one occasion. I’ll look forward to meeting again at the next get-together. Best wishes.
Anybody else likely to attend the AGM this year?
I attended the AGM on 27 Nov. 2018 with bhargav. I think there were only 3 PI’s around the meeting table. I doubt whether Brad George will attend if he wants to return to Perth, Australia. Louis Castro and Nick Von Schirnding are London based and less constrained by international travel regulations in these Covid times. There is nothing on the website to say which 2 will represent the company in person.
MrEMC2, you do not need to show you are on a register of members to attend this AGM. I had a letter from my investment platform & did not need to show it. At the last real AGM, 3rd Dec. 2019, an administrator from GGP came around with a clipboard & you had to give your name and institution/ PI. They want people to attend and it is in your interest to be there. After the formal meeting closes there is an opportunity to meet & talk to everyone present on the board. It was excellent having an opportunity to chat in person with Gervais or Callum Baxter.
For the record, those attending that year were Jerryspaniel, Stout, TheItalian, stumpy_gold, Soundman1, Condorlini, JerseyCrew, Daverec, lightbulb1, newtothisgame2, Chickndinner, AuRER, itsallamess, mickey1122 and others. Alastair Clayton of Artemis & Primorus Investments was in the audience. I think there should be up to 100 people attending this year. See y’a there.
zoros - This shy poster is still following the news from the shadows. You left Condorlini off your list of big holders. I’m still all-in with GGP and prepared to wait patiently.
See you at the next Stag meet.
mapp,
Date is 26th. I was sorry that you could not attend and of the 2 previous Stag evenings but I will be pleased to meet you in May. It is an excellent opportunity to meet fellow investors, put a name & personality to the mask we see on LSE. It is a pity that we will not be able to meet with Mush, who is locked down in Portugal.
Can not find it with your other 2 presentations on YouTube

Still holding - a few more than Paddy and Condorlini but nobody gets near to Jerryspaniel.
Looking forward to meeting you again at the Stag when Tier 4 is unlocked.
Like Paddy, I'm holding quite a few GGP shares in a SIPP. Unlike Paddy, I'm already drawing down on my pension funds but the value keeps going up.
HL is my provider and some may be interested to learn that you can take some of your 25% tax free cash and transfer over GGP shares to be kept in your Drawdown account. A Benefit Crystallisation Event (BCE). My experience has been that keeping the shares and only selling when your pension cash runs low, has paid my monthly pension payments.
Some of you might want to listen to words of wisdom from a Financial Advisor. My FA said that my propensity for risk was 'off the scale' investing 100% in GGP. I regret nothing and have been buying since the early days of 1.86p average. My SIPP acquisition was late at over 12p. It is looking like a good investment in 2021. Postscript: I bought a house last Autumn (our 1 and only freehold residence) by selling GGP shares. There are not many lucky enough to buy a detached town house for shares that cost less than £70k when invested in late 2017.
This has to be the joke question of the holiday period. However, somebody who can not even spell ‘spread’ might not be capable of looking up the answer on Google. Can you follow a website link?

Not new Tig. Check out the RNS from May 16th 2017. Does it look the same?

Bought 100k shares this afternoon in 3 trades. All are listed on this website. No difficulty getting 50k after midday - immediate quote accepted which gives reassurance about liquidity of this share. Next month could be more difficult to buy.
Those who are also in GGP can compare how a well organised and professional AGM is organised. A webinar with no continual disruption announcements from people phoning in or leaving the meeting.
The CEO prepared answers to questions sent before the meeting and also some questions were sent during the meeting and answered by the CEO or Technical Director. OMI have a low standard.
@Marmaris & OilMonkey. That makes 3 of us oilfield trash.
I’m retired after 40 years in upstream operations. Drilling, production testing and completion operations - International. I tried to avoid N. Sea.
When I started on a new semi-sub out of Le Havre working offshore Norway, there were no survival suits worn. After our 12 hour shifts we met in the bar for a drink. (French drilling company insisted on alcohol at worksites). There was wine with the meal. The crockery had the rig name and insignia, just like a Cunard liner. That did not last long!
