I agree Mickey in terms of the BB - I suspect however that many of us are already fully invested or close to (I came into funds in the last few days that went straight into GGP) and now we need that sentiment to spread wider along with a big smattering of realisation of the enormous potential before us. It will happen on all levels - I am convinced - just a question of time.

I think when you mention the word “ sentiment “ it encapsulates the whole essence of what’s currently happening on the ggp BB. I’m in no doubt it’s turned as it’s palatable .
Gold should propel us into the 20s again within the next few days.

I have been reflecting on the term sentiment when used in GGP context.
I suspect that on balance we are at an all time high in terms of sentiment for the future of GGP and the outcome of future results but in terms of short term confidence in can traders make money on this stock in the next 2 to 4 weeks, then sentiment is certainly lacking it seems - and this translates in day to day supply and demand, creating downward pressure - I am simplifying I know.
Personally I am more than happy with the sentiment for the future - or maybe I am fooling myself looking through rose tinted glasses - god knows I can't read without them these days.

Honestly, you guys going after DS for saying sentiment is through the floor need to look again. Sentiment may have picked up some on this board but generally, it's through the floor as evidenced by the SP. He's correct.
The thing is, if the value proposition hasn't changed (and it hasn't), and sentiment is through the floor, then you have a buying opportunity. Sentiment being through the floor is only a problem if you need to sell. Otherwise, hold or even buy more, if it fits your investment strategy.
No long term holder should care about sentiment. You care about value. Sentiment is the concern of traders, primarily. But even a LTH can take advantage of excess sentiment in either direction, so be honest with yourself about sentiment.

Wiltshire man never mind clairvoyance it was 20p the other week dont try and be clever
As rick rule advises , if the nothing has changed and results are still good, keep toping up
Two words
1. Fundamentals
2. Relax
Just got to let it play out. Top up of you can and breath lol
Exactly. Just "sit on your hands" and let it happen.
DS ...I understand your frustration. If you are a genuine holder (and no reason to think not) then take reassurance from the likes of Hydrogen Paddy and Bamps and all the quality intel they bring. If were here in 2019 you will know this is a re-run ( down c 40% from the highs) I believe next year could be a stormer for us. This year is sitting tight and if you have a chance to top up then take it IMO. A few months ago I was beating myself up on what I could have done differently but now I just understand this is totally being played. It is easy for them as they know it is 6 weeks before news (exactly the same as last time and the time before)
I think it is fine to get frustration off your chest (I have done the same on occasion) but this repeated negativity is not healthy for you or this board.
PS Todays news is "non news" he has 11.5m options !!

All this negativity and frustration just plays straight into the MM's game plan.
Any RNS that is released these days is played upon and the usual suspects come out to stir and disrupt.
Look what has happened so far this morning. sentiment is NOT through the floor DS we know this is being played and the more patient of us will in due course reap the rewards.
dssmith57 - “ Sentiment is through the floor mate. Waken up!!”
It might be for you pal, but not for me or plenty of others here.
Once you’ve finished picking up your toys you’ve thrown from your pram, if your not happy then by all means sell up and move on.
A very brief summary of the role of non executive directors…
There’s no legal distinction between non-executive directors (NEDs) and executive directors. However, in practice, NEDs are fundamentally ‘outsiders’ to a company, detached from day-to-day operations and valued for their objective insight. This creates a very different dynamic within their role to that of an executive director and means they can offer a unique perspective towards corporate governance, risk management and succession planning, amongst other areas. A company must ensure that its NEDs complement the balance of skills and experience of the board.
Sandgrounded: " try to turn sentiment" are you kidding? Sentiment is through the floor mate. Waken up!!
Best to ignore all these Neg- heads. Even if Shaun were to buy, if he then released good drilling results, they would all be swarming around claiming insider information.
People trying to find fault in the smallest of things to try to turn sentiment.
JS, exactly.
what has he done since he turned up. never even been mentioned in any RNS regarding the deals that have been struck. freeloader riding the pension wave no doubt.
The RNS should be retitled to ‘Excuse to drop the price’
Dsmith, I cant see there being a window in the next few months where SD or CB wouldnt be restricted given all the newsflow. As for CL he may not be in the loop, which begs the question, what does he do for his money?
Director sale- at this price? I know, there could be a multitude of reasons but this is just not a good look. Thought it might be a purchase from the Dear Leader but obviously not cheap enough for him yet. Where the f--k is this headed?
Quick 36k profit to pay for small family Summer holiday.....:-)
Enjoy.
You aren't a messenger we can all read without your inane comments, if you don't like the way they company is run then get lost you won't be missed .. that busy road is waiting for you !
But, who knows? An unexpected expense (car flooded out in the storms, as an example) doesn't crop up when GGP's sp is at an all time high.
It's only the price of a new mid range electric car ffs.
Politics of envy methinks!
Think it was a time thing Freddie !
