...Bon accord ;-)
@Tamerinvestor - it looks like we have an accord ;-]
Took the opportunity to purchase a few more with a dividend received for another stock. Have tried to buy on the dips, not always successful. Don’t expect this to rise rapidly but will be pleased if it reaches 4p in the near future.
,......."Nobody will be happier than me if you're right" ....it's not "if" it's when !
Craig Browns word on the visible Gold
"Where it is visible, mm wide these little gold particles its quite positive, i mean we've had nuggets even higher than that from rock chip sampling in the area so based on that, that shows that there are really high grades down there.
The gold is contained in sulphides, so when you can actually visualize the gold it makes things a lot better. We are very positive and we're positive we're going to get great results, we just need to get the resource as quickly as possible"
That'll do for me. It sounds like this section of the Core which we'll receive assays for is going to be an extremely positive. Keeping myself grounded about these results because we may only get back a couple of hundred meters which limits you when you want to strike good grades but it all sounds very encouraging.
The **** has been added by admin - my reference to having the trigger primed using a word that rhymes with sock must have been considered offensive!
No offence meant....
ATamerinvestor :"Pull up the SP chart and lay it out with the plethora of RNS releases. " Just watch how many RNS's ECR release this year, top notch geologists directing the drill rig around our acreage based on 48 hour assay results or is that my BS ramping shotgun blowing off again" - keep it ****ed for now. Nobody will be happier than me if you're right but the RNS train hasn't started rolling yet and I was simply stating that a JV announcement wasn't the only reason GGP hit 40p (ok 38.5p ;-)) it was only one aspect of it's growth. We need a steady stream of good news.
No worries, I get where you are coming from.
correction..."we know there are a couple of hundred thousand oz @ Blue Moon"
JTB, No-one is claiming that ECR will be a £800m company this year.
There is every chance however that the SP will be 20p+ by the end of the year ( so a similar rise to GGP last year)
the comparison between the two is the stage of development and the flightpath that ECR are on which is similar to GGP two years ago. The overall MCAPs will be much different (for at least the next year or two).
Creswick could be a $8BN resource on a JV (Craig Brown quote).
Baillieston could be a beast and is 100% owned (better to have 1 JV and one 100% owned rather than 2 JVs if you can progress yourself). CB has also stated previously that we know that there is at least a couple of hundred oz at Blue Moon alone and a couple of the areas within Baillieston are 'similar' in geology to Fosterville. Bags of potential.
For all we know in 5 years time the GGP board may have posts wishing they were more like ECR (couldn't resist poking the bear with a stick there ;-)
GGP was great investment last year...not saying its not good but now is very different to last year...
ECR is more early doors..
Back test at 3:40 again looks very strong, wait for the news and watch this catapult us beyond all the derampers or naysayers, hold for gold #OMI 5-6x In less than a month of the back of JV Announcement facts are facts and we will rocket one of these day very soon, be in or be out take your pick.
@AG1929
Short termers are replaced with more long and short termers.
Sit back and relax
Yeah definitely TS. I should have sliced elsewhere when this was 1.75p and gone big, that’s the problem with chasing too many stocks. Can never get that balance but I’m pretty content with myself now having an average in the low 3p mark
Seeing how the market has recently reacted to OMI and EEE grades is interesting. CB was that confident in the XRF results he was found to release them but decided to hold back. Historic grades in the area ranging 15 g/t and Craig hoping to at least match those, and more! My expectations are pretty grounded. I think in his latest share talk interview, part 4 (I think ha) he talks about getting the first half of hole 1 returned. 150m? The visible gold and quartz was hit at 100m or there abouts so it’s just a matter of waiting.
By April/may we could have 8-10 holes drilled and assays returned at HR3. We already know there is a good sized resource at Blue moon. It will all add up and come together nicely while work begins at Creswick.
I have a number of stocks in my sipp but only this and Oriole in my ISA and it’s where my focus remains.
AG,
Sounds like we have similar thoughts/ strategy on this. just loading up as much as possible at these levels then will sit on my hands for a year or two.
We know that PJ is a dilution merchant from our experience of him at this company (dark days).
Drill results should be interesting. For comparison POW are claiming their latest acquisition has 'significant' gold resource with:
11m @ 1.96 g/t
& 5m @ 5.9 g/t
On that scale I think ours will be 'very significant' ;-o
Could come any time now.
What people need to realise about GGP and il isolate Havieron on this, it’s enormous. 4.2 moz and growing. Some of those grades and widths are staggering, truest breathtaking. Whether it overshot it’s fair value, maybe but at 22p I can see a strong steady growth over 3-5 years into the £’s
Ecr have that potential, fighting the market with two big projects. If you want to make any kind of comparison, I’d say were in a similar stage to what they were 2-3 years ago. At the start of what could be a very wonderful and rewarding journey
But all of the hard work is ahead of us now and CB knows that. He’s not sitting around, he wants that JV signed at Creswick and he’s cracking on at Bailleston. It’a exactly what 2021 is all about for ECR, proving up numerous resources and finally getting a rough understanding what we are dealing with. The rises will come but everyone needs to stay patient. Forget about GGP or what OMI did and PJ at POW thinking dillution is the spice of life.
I’ve almost switched off from the current sp and out it way to the back of my mind. Next 6 months for me is all about the fundamentals of the company and what they’re putting in place to make themselves a lot stronger this time next year. I’m looking for: Assay results, a new drill to be mobilised in Bailleston, a lab to be built, a strong JV signed which gets underway.
Support the company, focus on the journey and the sp and rises will take care of itself. It’s such a shame because when the JV is signed and we may or may not hit double figures, by what I’m reading, there are a lot of investors here and on Twitter only interested in the short term. And that’s quite sad to me however if that’s how you make your profits, fair play, everybody has different approaches.
I’m just trying to think of the big picture and long term. Eventually down the line, like everyone else I will take my money but that’s way down the line. Very unique opportunity at 3.45p here to transform my life in 2-5 years.
....easy watch it with the ramping Dill, lol
I myself am expecting big things just need patience!!
...no need for an apology, that is what a BB is for.
My Apologies TamerInvestor - Not being patronising and should have worded it a little less aggressively ... simply staing difficult to compare GGP and ECR as GGP have 2 joint ventures and have established they have a T1 Gold find and are drilling in additional regions ... whilst ECR are still establihing what they have ... and then you need to compare such things as processing plant access ( GGP .. TELFER just 40KM down the road)
That said I have a far larger holding in ECR now than in GGP so i wish us all prosperity here - fingers crossed
"Pull up the SP chart and lay it out with the plethora of RNS releases. " Just watch how many RNS's ECR release this year, top notch geologists directing the drill rig around our acreage based on 48 hour assay results or is that my BS ramping shotgun blowing off again
GGP is not a normal occurrence, not even close so there's no point in comparing in my opinion because you'll only be disappointed. Look back at their initial results when they first started drilling, the results were/are staggering and continue to be so.
We can multiply many times on good results given our own situation. I'm keen to see if they can come back within CB's timeframe because I've got some Aussie gold miners based in Perth still awaiting results still from back in December (at least that's what they claim). GLA
.....sorry Aberyswyth I talk loads of BS, GGP 52 wk high 38.5p (was a few pips out there) As for your advice not to use my BS comparing the magnificent GGP to a mino like ECR, let's see in time. Let's see how many shares ECR have in issue when they sign the JV. Shenyang ready to build a help build a mine...........don't be patronising
Regarding GGP and it's rise - it wasn't all due to a JV announcement, far from it. The SP rose relatively steadily (with some nice tick ups and downs) due to regular RNS updates. Pull up the SP chart and lay it out with the plethora of RNS releases. It was a 9 to 12 month burn....DYOR and don't listen to the astronauts
Correction: ECR SP would be around a £1 if we had a similar mcap to the c£861m current GGP mcap.
