Aberyswyth, Although the 40p GGP statement is incorrect, the potential here to multibag is very real.
If you do look at GGPs MCAP you could assume that ECR progress to a similar position over the next 2 years (we would need the JV to be signed quickly and drilling at Creswick to be progressed at a good rate). then the ECR SP would be 70p plus.
Not saying that is where it will be (could be lower ...or higher).
Many factors will effect this : Plus side is the huge potential @ Baillieston which we OWN 100% with potentially very low production costs and the potential multi million oz resource at Creswick, as well as more licenses en route.
Negatives are the potential dilution required to take a mine in to production (hopefully minimised with a higher SP to the current one) and if a JV deal is not agreed.
And before you pull me up for ramping....potential is the key word (otherwise the SP would already be up there).
So 70p+ in two or three years.....maybe and maybe not.....but I would certainly not be shocked if it gets there.
ECR mcap is only £30M! GGP share price got well ahead of itself (£1.5BILLION ffs) and is now trading at more realistic levels given the potential of Havieron as a tier 1 asset and the other projects that are beginning to be explored. I'm invested in both!
Newbies beware of blatant ramping ....... TamerInvestor - you do talk some BS ... firstly GGP never actually reached 40p and secondly, GGP have multiple projects ... HAV is big and getting bigger and if you look then only yesterday they announced a second Newcrest Juri JV in the patterson region ... so be careful with the BS comparing an established explorer like GGP with the likes of ECR which have yet be be proven as to what they actually have
So would def make sense for licences to be confirmed before JV as they could increase footprint of Creswick, also x4 current sp on announcement of JV would be my guess for SP imo, if more then even better
On JV news OMI and GGP SP rose to 40p, what they don't have is a second project and other add on's that ECR has BooooooOOOOOM

Jsmith - I’m looking forward to hear if and when we get approved for the new licenses, some which may extend the footprint we have at Creswick.
I get the distinct impression CB isn’t one to roll over to one of the big boys and take a low ball offer. He seems very fond of the company in question and I’m sure he will get us the right deal.
The right deal isn’t just about the %, although that is a key factor. Your talking finances, JV length, drills, drilling equipment, core sheds. So much to factor in.
I think another drill will be purchased this year for Bailleston, 170k it would be worth every dime. I think MIDAS will average 2 holes a month so let’s say another 18 in 2021 as a rough guide, if we could add to that, it would be significant in proving up the different resources
Whether we maintain 30/40/50% of Creswick is yet to be seen. However if you want to go alone on two projects, it’s going to take years and 4 million IMO won’t stretch past 2021 end. We’ll hopefully have an essential free carry on Creswick, which potentially could be a multi million ounce deposit. This freeing up ecr up to continue Bailleston exploration
That 30% free carry IMO will be worth 10 times more to the shareholders and market cap than ecr retaining 100% of Creswick and sticking a couple of holes in every 8 months
Wonderful post Trek, and it’s you, along with a select few others are worth their weight in gold when it comes to understanding and demonstrating that part of the company, and the time you take to forward that on to other investors here, it’s appreciated.
I feel for those who have been holding since the old regime. I’ve not heard 1 good thing about the old board and Company. That being said, you’ll clearly appreciate the change in direction and key attributes CB has brought to ECR.
I used to have 10 different mining stocks, EV stocks in America and all kinds of bio plays. Chasing the rainbow and 9 times out of 10 coming out at a loss. GGP (even though I didn’t get in until 12p), really made me appreciate the fundamentals of a mining company. Are they funded? Good ceo ? Overheads ? History of gold grades ? Future plans? And when factoring all of these in and more, the standout pick for me Moving forward is ECR. I don’t mind a bit of hype or excitement, but only because I like to think I’m well read on the company and know what noise to take in, and what is simply just noise and filter out.
Find myself 3-4 times a week spending half an hour flicking back through the RNS page, searching for interviews on YouTube and using the companies website.
Good board this one, level headed investors with great understanding of ECR and I’m happy to see what 2021 and beyond brings to me. Let all of the fundamentals play out naturally and judge the investment as the journey continues.
Trek are we basically saying we are fully funded to the tune of 4 million as more funds incoming with sale of warrants?
Also JV is all well and good but how much equity will ECR give away? Max 30-40%?
AG1989, et al,
“Still can't believe this was 0.48p back in the summer, all the fundamentals were still in place ie: Talks with Creswick, Blue moon had already been discovered at Bailleston, what an opportunity that was. ”
Yes that was a perfect high risk opportunity, probably coincided with an intra day low in March....but.....
You then have to ask what the catalyst likely was... Well it’s always finance or leads back to finance. For those dreamers out there, dream finance; when finance is good everything is good!
For sure resources make finances pay but good finances makes resources very profitable!
The point about finance that I make is that some ‘gold diggers’ (not you AG, I hope you don’t mind my illustration, I know you know your stuff!) often chase dreams and forget finance and get taken in by those pumping a stock.
So what here was the rerate catalyst. Well here’s the boring record on repeat. Finance! The March accounts were AUDITED and clear. They then had a financial pathway to exploit what was found so that could become accretive! The SP responded accordingly; making a catch-up!
Don’t forget this company was a ?%/:(‘!;:!) prior to and during 2015/16! It took much longer to build up its reputation. It is FULL credit to CB for where we are now....financially sound and with prospects!
It really doesn’t matter what the SP was a year ago it’s now all about what it will be worth according to whatever the investors forward timespan is!
What the AISC is and how much volume is there are key FUTURE metrics. But for now in the absence of that data the corporate structure is key. It’s why I spend so much time looking at the warrants, the corporate financing, it’s various permutations and soon hopefully the JV terms.
Absolutely the geological value will kick in but we need JORC to set a value point for
....finance!
If/when we do a JV it is then predicated on how the resources are financially viably. Risk and reward.
But it’s finance: Sorry but I know I am going on; but for good reason having read so many posts on LSE of late and of poor folk getting burnt! It’s the financial terms of the JV that will again be the next catalyst over and above what we are currently undertaking (drilling).
And of course a hopefully stating of the obvious.. The investment case of any stock should of course always be primarily attributed to the demonstrable ability of the team!
.. ECR! ECR! ECR! ..lol!
I feel a wiki page coming on! Lol!
Apologies for any ‘sucking of eggs’ but my intentions are only to help.
Usual caveats,
Trek

How's the gold price doing?
Would be a excellent start.....craig is the man!!
Kitchen sink?
100% agree at this stage now it’s so cheap, Eddie stobart 6months ago was on 5p now it’s 18p and people think it’s still cheap. Once this one take of it will blow up.
Still can't believe this was 0.48p back in the summer, all the fundamentals were still in place ie: Talks with Creswick, Blue moon had already been discovered at Bailleston, what an opportunity that was. I've been adding from 1.75p but even where it stands, this price will seem like a steal in a couple of months. DYOR research and back it with everything you have. Red days will come, i call them opportunity days :D
Agree AG, Just looking short term for the top up.
This will play out VERY interestingly over the coming weeks.
Holding for the long term as the roadmap that seems to be set out here should play out nicely.
Some good grades over decent lengths would be a good start.
TS yes good point, Doc. hasn't tweeted about ECR but did mention them in his most recent podcast on the 14th Feb
Yeah he hasn’t mentioned them has he for a while.
I’ve made all my top ups but I believe you’ll still get your chance TS regardless of what happens this week. We’re likely to recieve the first half of hole 1 this week/start of next week.
I’m more looking forward to the confirmation of new licenses and the final approval of a deal at Creswick going ahead. This is the catalyst for me short term with Bailleston results to compliment it as the year goes on.
Only takes one warrant holder to be significantly top slicing or selling off on a low volume day like today to keep the price down (it's only 2.6%).
Selfishly just hoping that the assay results don't drop this week as plan a top up at the end of the week.
On a side note , has anyone noticed that DocH has not posted a single tweet about ECR since the bout of warrant exercising a few weeks ago, despite the SP rising up to 30% during that period...I wonder who one of those warrant holder sellers was? ;-)
The thing I like about Twitter posters is that they are not self serving at all.
Yeah nobody knows. Ignore the noise, waiting on news which should be due soon.
Hi All
Just a bit of patience is required it will pick up as we progress through the week a lot of negative prices amount miners today OMI , GGP etc just generally tend to rub off across the sector never really understood why.
If we get Assays this week my opinion is we will break 4p
Really? The content of the interview as a whole was excellent - the way the four elements were drip fed was an absolute embarrassment. (not down to ECR I guess) We will break 4p when we receieve some news of substance
What Im getting from today’s trading again buys out weighting sells but still dropping, probably working something for buyers in the back ground. Once we have lift of it’s going to go huge. MCAP combined with share size and ECR licences make this a super stock ready to explode. IMO if we get all the above and start opening a mine we will eclipse the likes of GGP RRR etc and will enter Kirkland, newmont territory maybe not to that value but bottom end of the £,s scale.
Surprised this not 4p this morning after the interview yesterday
