dvharrison - I agree. I took part in the KistosPB last week it was easy and all done in three days. Only downside with PB is being unable to place in ISA or SIPP
@dvh - ofc it happens, but with a company at this stage the probability is low - imo, who knows, lets not have a heated debate. haha
Paul, I've taken part in a number of PrimaryBId placings. No reason why it couldn't happen here imo in the future (not for a long time!). We all get a lick of the lolly pop...
share placing with retail investors - unlikely.
the reason for it is that the compliance issues and therefore the expense make it very unlikely with AIM listed shares and marketcaps this small. You only have to listen to other CEOs and this is the most common reason for the private placings. Also because it's likely you might just get investors that could enable an eventual takeover.
it seems like retail investors have spanked the placees though. They paid 2.2 and have warrants which need a 150% rise from her to even get considered! As a new holder I am happy with that!
"yeh we didn't need the money .certainly will try and include retailer investors next time"
YOU'D BETTER !!!! :)
Good to have admitted and error of judgement to raise cash during a precious metal pull back when in reality we were in a relatively strong cash position previously.
Time scales tie quite nicely to sink a few holes in creswick while awaiting final awards of south of creswick applications. If results are good I'm sure the interested parties will be beating the door down
That interview has done wonders for sentiment and I'm sure the buyers will be all over this at sub 2p...
The license and Creswick timeframes were news to me. And very encouraging.
Blimey what a difference an interview makes! The one previous to this should be burned lol!
Very encouraging stuff, particularly in regards to licenses (had an email back yesterday!) and timeframes (CW commencing either end of this month or early May)..
As Craig puts it.. onwards and upwards.
Good interview. Some faith restored. Did not correct CresWick lol
okay.
Shame there was nothing about the LAB - unless I missed it. Better interview for sure and definite signs that AG was guiding him before and during the interview.
What I took away most was the guys honesty - how many CEOs do you hear admitting to having made a mistake - restored my trust in the guy. Well done CB.
The whole thing was just a lot clearer than the interview published yesterday.
Accelerated drilling at both Bailieston (midas) and Creswick (contractor). JV still on the table at Creswick and remains our best chance of building 'millions of ounces' of gold...
the mistake was upsetting private investor sentiment - from a business point of view raising an extra £2m at 2.2p now looks a good move...
we'll see in the long run whether a bank balance or sentiment is the more difficult to rebuild
Licence grated think he’s pushing them now for quick turn arounds,
Think Craig’s had a firework lit under his ass and he will be on a rampage to drill the hell out of everything. Just drill away get the results punch them out market will act accordingly. Start with the most valuable licence that will have deposits and leave the other spots for future drilling would be my idea.
Says it was a mistake to do the placing.....
generally a far better interview, didn't really say anything we didn't already know but a far calmer and more polite attitude and he was actually selling the positives of the company without actually "over egging the pudding"
Much, much better interview from CB and lots to look forward to especially at Creswick!
All to play for
next two holes results in next couple of weeks.
contractors to start by beginning of May.
more relaxed
Didn't seem as p*ssed off as yesterday lol
Thanks Angoose. Will give it a watch soon.
