Blimey CawCaw a sensible and reasoned response. I quite agree with you; having listened to the ramping and deramping never mind the guesswork, I think that is a valid viewpoint. I've been in this share for a few years and lost out initially having bought at 1.67 (I think!) then sold out a loss when everything seemed to go t..ts up. However managed to get in and am up 100% and believe we have turned the corner. However, until extension agreed and update on drilling etc we will trade sideways. It is still a gamble, to many, but personally feel we are going in the right direction, AT LAST! Back to reading the comments and staying in the background. Firmly believe this will go much higher in time, just patience needed.
“ Marathon oil ... have not come forward in any way ! .. right from the top .. this is our deal and a great one at that !”
Nice one Guitar1970, so it’s all ours - confirmation.
YEAH BABY. (Prices CAD)
We have not printed a day like this in many years.

Do people think it's the placing shares holding us back?
Yes , Im 100 percent, something that started at the water cooler
Cawcaw exciting we love a bit of action
Ask increasing now. Could be a decent finish..
Thanks LB hopefully once these are churned through we should re-rate to 1-1.5p which is what the SP deserves to be at pre-drill
bladdarman be nice to close blue after a painful day like today! If not always tomorrow ;)
I am invested here and enjoy reading informative posts but I am a bit concerned about that rumour which was cirulated earlier which was then copied and pasted from this bulletin board on to twitter creating more traction. It creates false expectations and if they don't materialise it may have a negative impact on the sp. I am sure there are rules, laws and regulations against spreading rumors or what might later appear as false/misleading information on public bulletin boards. The fundamentals of this company and the prospects should be more than enough to provide plenty to go on.
I actually disagree about this specific rumour being bad.
I am basically always opposed to fake news, fake rumours, and pumpers fabricating excitement out of thin air. (No idea whether this case falls into any of those categories, but some others have speculated that it does.)
In another circumstance I would be against it, as such behaviour is highly unethical and also creates an artificial rise and fall due to nothing material happening. This being negative for the credibility of the investment thesis, and messing up the technicals.
In this case, if the rumour is indeed fake, we may have a weird "two wrongs making a right" scenario. Because we probably have *massive* material news in the pipeline. And probably have undeserved anonymity in the investment world, since so many have spent so long ignoring Art and Art's vapourware press releases that even *real*, *amazing* news does not seem to be moving the needle as much as is deserved.
If (and that's a big IF) this rumour had been a 100% fabrication, it would still do the job of getting eyes on this little company and its' story. Once it is on peoples' radars, (by whatever means necessary according to anyone unethically spreading false rumours,) the *real* news will do the rest.
Or at least that's what I hope. No allegations intended; only pure hypotheticals.
Liquidity = Price
Can someone please remind me when the current license expires - is it Sept 2020?
30th I believe
Lots of new money has poured in above 0.45p all looking for profit.
I see there is a missing 38k shares today which is where the stall happened at 0.46p. They'll be printed tomorrow and we're off
292M - 255M (145+110) =37M
No placing fears as Art will know now is not the time (also an email circulating on Twitter confirming this)
Sept 30th - thanks. I see that as the absolute dealine because Nigeria need this as much as we do. The new licensing offerings is testament to the authorities desire to access their lucrative structures ASAP.
