RNS released today on Aquis…
Any news would be nice ?? would also be nice to see some buys
silence is deafening here !!
as a long term holder here i thought it was really positive new people coming on board
seems i got my hopes up too soon ,nothing concrete here from the new board in over 6 months
keep getting RNS about HOT and due diligence
how long do you have to look at these options and figures ??
or have we inherited a new board looking for another pay check
Pretty much tumble weed is the only thing coming out of ASMO. GM and then nothing. Very Very disappointing by the ASMO management.
Any updates guys? I understand all montions were past at the GM so where to now? Any movement likely in this stock in the next 6 months?
Seeking to increase the issued share capital as well which no doubt will be needed to acquire new interests and raise money. Could be an interesting 2022

All Star Minerals Plc
("All Star" or the "Company")
Non-Executive Chairman Retirement
All Star (AQSE:ASMO) announces the retirement of Mr Graham Mascall from the Board with immediate effect.
The decision has been made for personal reasons, and a desire on the part of Mr Mascall to focus his attentions on family matters.
Interim CEO, Ian Harebottle, said:
"It is with regret that we announce the retirement of Graham from the Board, but his reasons and motivations are appreciated and fully understood. Graham's considerable experience, input and dedication to the Company and all of its shareholders during his tenure, will be sorely missed. We will be initiating a search for All Star Minerals new chairman, in due course."

No doubt you read the interim results?
Its been a while since any action at ASMO. Does anyone know if anything is happening in the background? Hard to hold out much hope if this silence continues. Surely they owe their share holders some sort of explaination.
Fingers Crossed and hope your right ??
Not too sure how close to an Aquisition they are with this new BOD but with shares being sold off at the original raising price its obvious they have let some people down with their promises? Or am I just being a pesimist ?????
Seems to have been time spent on the website. I wonder when they will make a buy in the gems sector and who will be brought on board and how quickly IH wants to build the company. No doubt there are a few targets in the frame and the recent interview with Proactive suggests they are close to an acquisition.
Well done Troajan and its good to know one of us is on the case. I have not followed up on what you have posted but will have a look when I have time this evening.

Given the BOD I guess that when a deal is concluded we could see a sp well ahead of current levels. The real trick is being ahead of the heard.
Anyone have a scooby on what is happening here... Tumbleweed has more noise about it...
Seems to be a sell off at the lower end of the price? Any news or just the quick buck makers getting impatient? Either way it's a little worrying.
Good morning C1 - yes I feel this could be the beginning of a very profitable journey. The BOD seem the be seasoned in the Gemstone sector and will be looking to grow ASMO rapidly. Have a good week.
I like it
I feel sure something is going on. Take a look at their website, they seem to be getting the advisers in place so I think IH and his BOD are moving to an acquisition, no doubt a fund raise and even a move to a higher listing. So looks good but patience is still key.
Another week goes by and all is quiet ?? would like to see some sort of movement or at the very least rumors. Just way too quiet and hard to tell if anything is milling about in the background ??????
Good to see C1 in and welcome to you. I first spotted this neglected shell more than a year ago even before the raise. It looks as if ASMO has attracted an interesting BOD and has recently appointed some serious advisors. The way this is looking is that a target or even more than one has been identified and the dots are being set out to join up. They have also mentioned that any acqusition will be made by shares . An interesting few months ahead for us and at the moment we continue to be below the radar which is not a bad place to be as experience has taught me and a friend I have in the North. Any news seems to be on the Aquis board so you may need to keep an eye on that. GL
I’m in
Any thoughts from the bush Telegraph?
Probably.
Bottom drawer...
Good to see there are other investors on the Board. My own view is that we have a very knowledge BOD in place who know their way around the international Gems market and ASMO is the vehicle to grow a massive business. The current valuation is no more than fair but I feel if you are a thinking investor now would be the time to pick up stock. Yes there will be a fund raise and some dilution but with potential targets already on the table the potential is clear in the current market. Why have such talent on the Board and appoint SPA? Now is the time to top up if you can.
cannot see them getting involved with all star if they haven't got a plan going forward
interesting shell/recovery play here
ONCE intentions are announced and plans for the future mapped out the market will rerate the stock IMHO
Bottom draw, if and until Ian H comes out with a project or whatever which is convincing enough to move the sp.
And the selling continues?
Of course we don't know but we do know that there is a knowledged BOD in place and advisers have now been appointed. We are told they are looking at a number of prospects that could be acquired, mainly by the issue of shares. ASMO looks to be a potential winner and an attractive shell to invest in. It is well below the radar of many of those who invest in resourse stocks but once news hits the market the mc could increase dramatically IMO. Perhaps the potential here should be flagged on other boards.
Anyone know if there are any announcements planned. Always get a little excited when a couple of decent trades occur but then it always seems to just fizzle out. Also is it just me or is this platform, Aquis so hard to actually understand what is going on in terms of trades and the actual price of the stock?
Seems I was dreaming. It's gone!
Clown, someone else with nothing to do. Go and buy a TV.
There is something going on here imo. Quite a reasonable amount of shares to trade and I would be suprised if it was a sell. The next two months could be interesting and I would at least expect an announcement before too long. GL

More RNS's in the pipeline.
The entrance is yet to be announced also of undetermined length of said pipeline and neither its geographic locality.
Recommend observing a wall of drying paint.

Also a £2.5m tax loss could be useful
Don't know I am sorry to say but there seems to be an interesting BOD and also one with a fair bit of skin in the game.
Its not on the most liquid of markets but notwithstanding I am surprised there has not been a bit more positive interest. This is clearly a shell with proven management that is looking to mop up resource operations in Africa. MC of about £1m looks a bit of a steal IMO. Could be 1p in a few weeks if something breaks.
Any idea on a timeline for any such movement. The trading Aquis is very strange and hard to guage what is going on?
It looks as if the BOD may be putting something in place. New blood on the Board and they have said that they will use paper in any acquisition.
What do you think is needed to get this stock moving? Hard to know if there is any serious interest.

I think it could be with ASMO should it do a deal shortly as the sector seems to be very popular at the moment.
May it be a prosperous NY for us all.
Only frustration I guess following a fair bit of activity on the corporate front. I still feel confident in the longer term as there appears to be a team being put together. We will see, and no doubt there will be much going on behind closed doors as management changes and raises are not done without good reason. GL and all the best for the NY
OK so what have you heard that has changed your mind from Dec 6? I know nothing is never set in stone when it comes to shares but you seemed pretty confident that ASMO was about to take off.
Seems not - bout before Christmas and probably bout before the end of the year. Perhaps nothing for the coming months either.
So any thoughts on today's update?
Well lets see...
The resourse sector is biginnng to boil so perhaps we can expect some news shortly - no doubt a raise will be on the agenda.
Who bought 50m?

A lot of support from NTSU on their twitter which seems to suggest a buyout may be on the cards!
I saw that NTSU tweeted "A few shares on issue at All Star Minerals #ASMO $ASMO however it looks to be quite a tight ship and good to see recent announcements on positions taken by some big holders".
Either way, things are looking very positive atm!! :D
Interesting but I cannot DL the article - but I guess we wii suspend and get an RNS in due course.
Thanks DTM you seem to be on the case.

All resolutions passed so guess we crack on now to see if they managed to raise the additional money, maybe it will be oversubscribed, now that would be a result... Malawi here we come with Lloydy, Harbottle and Simonet... this could be a very decent punt, 20 bag minimum for me...

Seriously with so little being said with 2 big heavyweights joining ASMO... Maybe they shud be called ASBO...
Anyway not long until we find out!

Ok - so dust has settled and we have big hitters at the helm now with Ian Harebottle and Richard Lloyd - yes the one from new trading platform Minexia.
Guess we will find out whats coming up next in the next few days or weeks.
Would be good to know when the 2nd part of that financing is completed as I am sure that is when the real news can start to flow.
Oh to be a fly on the wall in the offices now

Yep think it will be one to watch very closely over the coming weeks and months.

Good to see the interest in this one rising. It's still early days but thankfully something is starting to awaken here.
Volumes over past 3 days are as much as have gone through in the rest of this year and more than what went through in the last 6-months of 2019.
Not surprising given we now have a new director that has done it all before with Gemfields and Tanzanite One.
Annual accounts due out soon, although I am not expecting much there and a circular for the shareholders meeting to approve the second part of the funding.
Good times ahead I think
