1+1 = 2 , Alba 1+1 = Rip off

Thank you GoldnOilDigger. That is all I wanted......A reply!

I agree with your assessments Scotalba with regards the locals would prefer the mine re-opening. It's common sense for the locals really, as if there are employees at the mine, whether sub contractors or Alba employees then there will be more money to their various economy's.
Doesn't matter if its a pint of beer or a bacon butty, its something for the locals that they wouldn't have with a closed mine.
Another more distant idea ! I also have shares in UJO, EOG and previously Egdon, they contribute I think £100,000 a year to local development around Wressle. This could be youth activities like football, scouts, guides etc or as GF has suggested maybe a museum of some kind. If this employs locals that is obviously great and gets more locals being friendly rather than activists. The local MP's also would appreciate the votes from the locals happy with a local business helping everybody if/when successful.
The negatives are obviously bitter or trying to manipulate loose holders into selling cheaper for their own plans.
Good look all Alba genuine shareholders.
Ps though. As there are people in the Alba office, it would be nice to reply to some if not all emails.
I don't know how many come through, but even a generic reply saying "Thanks for you message and we plan to inform all shareholders with the appropriate updates in the next RNS".
At least that would be something.
Gla dyor etc
Maintain the aim on gold and graphite. Don't spread our resources too thin.
It's an amazing RNS and GROC is unbelievable value and Alba owning 37% does not reflect the share price or it's true potential the reason is simple there is lack of cash and no confidence in management who have rinsed the life out of the shareholders on a continuous basis. Instead of unlocking and staying focus they have embarked on another Lithium project in Australia when they have limited funds. The UK stock market is running thin on investors and funds as a result of countless Aim companies fleecing the UK investors.
Good to get confirmation alba received £100k hh loan repayment.
I disagree with the notion that locals won’t want the mine to reopen, Bontddu used to be a thriving little village with a very busy pub, garage, craft shops etc but these have all gone. New business by the village could be exactly what they want.
@risk focus you keep banging on and on about the locals not wanting a mine. I wonder where you get your information from, my information says the opposite. My information comes direct from Alba HQ, so yes they could be biased, but I don't think so, I think they are telling the truth. Where dose your information come from. I am liking my new look green message board. I am just tired of the constant negativity crowd without decent facts to back up the statements. I am all for a good valid point may it be positive or negative .
A great RNS for Clogau and Greenland. Looking good.

Read it PROPERLY!

"Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Board and our management & technical team for their continued hard work and dedication over the course of the year and to thank our shareholders for their ongoing support. I look forward to all of us at Alba continuing our work in the year ahead to deliver on our overriding objective of generating significant value for our shareholders" I for one second that.
George, as I know you do read the message board from time time, along with other members of Alba staff. I would just like to say. Thank you George I appreciate your hard work and your care in the management of Alba's money and resources, your frugality is much appreciated by at least one share holder. All at Alba keep up the good work.
Fishfaced I for one don't want someone being paid to answer your E mails or your phone calls until the company starts making some money ,After all the more money they waste on wages the faster they will need another dillution.
The "high risk" is because they remain dependent upon the equity market for funding and the UK equity market has been going through a hard time for quite some time (although there are currently signs sentiment is, at last, improving).
Their principal projects, however, continue to be de-risked at speed, as yesterday's RNS from GROC demonstrated.
Well said Tom 100% true, however when some people like Ocelot post unrealistic figures, I can understand why some go along with the rose tinted future and concentrate on highly speculative share price and profits .............. look at ALBAs bottom line and that is where the share price rise will come from not stupid hype, predictions and promises
You are mad if you think this is a reputable company. An investment in this company is nothing other than a high risk punt. With high risk comes high rewards (hopefully) - I am heavily invested and believe it will come good for a short period at which point I will exit.
But calling ALBA reputable is far from accurate. They have not met any time lines they have indicated in the past. The share is at an all time low. There are continual share dilutions (I expect this due to the nature of the business however I feel a lot of people on this board are continually surprised at the fund raising activities.) The company's mission statement talks about benefiting from new assets previously mined/explored/proven, however they are going into an unproven lithium asset. There are plenty of aspects to get frustrated about.
All that said, we are all in this this because we think/pray/hope it will come good one day (soon!)
Do your research, and set your own realistic expectations.
All the best, TP
Bori550. I am most certainly NOT happy! you stated `Do you still want somebody in the office waiting to answer to your every whim`
`Every whim!` lol. All I wanted was a reply to my `E` mails or answer
to my phone calls! I have been with this company and those before it, FAR
longer than you have. To ignor `E` mails and the phone on `engaged`
for hours....yes hours! A very poor show from a so called reputable
company.

The locals wont want the mine opening up. That will be the biggest fight if any gold is actually found.
When was the last time an RNS had a very positive effect on the share price? Each time one is released, the hope of a rise is there, but the share price seems to be heading in one direction at the moment.
I have always been here for the gold. This RNS worries me considerably on that front. It states that 'bonanza' grades as per Level 4 need to be replicated over an extensive area to significantly strengthen the economic case for commercial production.
This says to me , years of delays, costly, very likely will never happen, just a pipe dream.
Re Andover West:
At the time of writing, we are in the process of carrying out confirmatory due diligence during our 30-day option period.
Happy now fishfaced or do you still want someone in the office all day waiting to answer to your every whim
OUTLOOK
The outlook for our Welsh gold projects is strong, not least as we now find ourselves within touching distance of possible first gold production from the bulk sampling of both the Waste Tip and the Llechfraith Target.
With that in mind, in the next period we intend to further our partnership, marketing and offtake discussions in relation to future gold produced at Clogau and at the same time to continue our development work to establish a fully traceable "mine-to-market" supply chain. This will underpin our ability to command a premium price for our gold production.
The coming six months also promises to be very productive at GreenRoc. The publication of the much-anticipated PFS for the establishment of an anode processing plant using Amitsoq graphite as the feedstock promises to add significant value to a world-class project which already benefits from a strong economic assessment of the upstream operations.
At the same time as developing our existing assets and supporting our investee companies, we remain focused on securing one or more additional complementary assets for Alba which will help drive serious value and growth for shareholders into the future. Our first foray into a new project was announced in April 2024, with the option we have taken over the Andover West Lithium Project in Western Australia. As we are already heavily invested in the battery materials sector with our major stake in the Amitsoq Graphite Project, we see exposure to lithium, one of the other critical raw materials in an Electric Vehicle battery, as highly complementary to our existing portfolio.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Board and our management & technical team for their continued hard work and dedication over the course of the year and to thank our shareholders for their ongoing support. I look forward to all of us at Alba continuing our work in the year ahead to deliver on our overriding objective of generating significant value for our shareholders.
