I think the fact that 3 Directors have bought at the same time is the really encouraging point and after the webcast and queries.
DRC is coming and it also shows their confidence in still achieving guidance estimates.
A smaller spread would let others take advantage of this good news.
Mr/Mrs 25K still about....... nice to see Pete and some of the BoD put their hands in their pockets............. B
Fancy PF to get his purchase at the cheapest price....:-)
Anyway always nice to see directors buy....even if it is small and at the cheapest end.
GLA.
Decent enough one for around £18,000 .Company secretary buying around £5,000 .Let’s not forget their wages won’t be huge so £5,000 is a fair wedge to them .Fowler owns around £350,000 and is still buying ,large holding really in available cash .Shows they are happy to keep buying and this stupidly cheap price .
5k for PF. Would have liked it to be more. But I guess we don’t know his personal finances.
There’s been talk of regular share purchases for years….not sure I see them ever happening
We are not talking large amounts of money here. A few thousand pounds.
Good to see. Odd that Tony isn’t involved. But I think that’s a decent start. Hopefully they can continue to add at these levels.
I appreciate that once they buy they can’t really sell them (unlike PIs they’re basically tied in)…but PF has not that many years to retirement so it makes to sense for me that he’d be adding at these levels.
Nice, first director buys in quite some time. Interims out of the way and its almost like they know the $500mill 20 year DRC deal should have multi bagged the company.
The seller whose been off loading for a appears done. Given a few some very cheap top ups.
12% discount on placing price 5.7p.
They’ve also stated numerous times that countries go with them because they are zero cost to the airports and ports. WSG pays for the hardware (often) and customers pay for the ongoing security costs (always). So it’s fairly attractive to the slightly more tinpot nations.
And DrM. I don’t know why you pretend to not know why people pretend not to know the economics….it’s a special, less blatant way of trolling a share.
The economics of the deal are well known. I don’t know why people pretend not to know them
WSG get $25/passenger departing the airports. This was over 1mill precovid
They’ve conservatively stated they’ll get at least $6mill in year 1 which equates to 240k passengers. They make profit at that level. Costs are relatively fixed so at say 500k passengers and $12.5mill you’d be looking at $6mill+ profit. They’ve stated numerous times the margin for these MSCs is over 50%
Closure of contract, but also whether revenues are converted in to profit. Fowler is cagey on the latter
DRC are desperate for airport upgrades- why choose WSG/ euro-ops. I presume it because they are cheap
I think people are missing the contracts signed after nothing for years once these start to produce and economy's pick up the SP will reflect , 2022 sound s very promising if not 2021 .
We all know Aim share s can sit seemingly stagnant for years and then boom.
This company needs lots of momentum to break the bad luck / low confidence in WSG .
I'm personally hanging in here for a few years yet !
Existing holders & fence sitters. Buys were very thin on the ground.
It’s all sounded promising for years though, therein lies the main problem. As you say, it needs to be closed.
Normally not. For most of aim is holes in ground pre revenue ******. But when the broker target is based of actual metrics like revenue and profit they are a tad more meaningful
Except every time there is an announcement that could take the SP higher, it gets knocked back by the inevitable placing. Cut that out and maybe the SP will relate otherwise it’ll be a slow interminable crawl to get anywhere near double figures.
Broker targets aren’t worth Jack in my opinion.
“Markets not interested”…. Is that because webinars are only listened too by existing shareholders, none holders wont have a clue this took place let alone the content. Its purpose is to update current shareholders rather than generate new ones ?
Its not like the world stops to listen.
All sounded promising but needs contract gov stamped to ignite the sp..
On target… your funny !. Nope I meant someone has been selling in 25k/50k chunks for a while…. It could be a whole £15k…. And quite clearly that’s someone’s weekend away with the missus out the window. B
I presume they dont think its unlikely as the broker is targeting 18p on 2022 numbers and id guess they can see what contracts are coming up and they value they will bring. I think it'll go much higher personally over the next couple of years.
Do you think they will get the ratification. 3rd time I've asked now. Strange you've not answered
There was quite a few times when Fooler mentioned things ‘moving right’ , meaning timescales shifting out.
I think , when he spoke about financials he said something along the lines of ‘if we don’t make 2021, he’s much more optimistic about 2022’.
It was implied quite a bit that certain things would have to come in to make the 2021 numbers, which they might , but they might be 2022 instead. This ‘right shifting’ again.
Personally, I think 2022 numbers are more likely to be hit than this years. Some things that don’t sneak in will fall in to 2022 so that could be the bumper year.
On a separate point - this notion that they think the SP could hit 26p from the CFO. That would require a 5 fold increase in SP - potential but highly unlikely. The other thing it would require is the number of shares in issue doesn’t rise - I’d say that is practically impossible for this BoD.
Did I make any suggestion “that I’d nail my balls to a wall” (unnecessarily childish - but I appreciate my viewpoint annoys you.
IF remains valid. The market is unconvinced. I gave it a timescale, your challenge didn’t.
STILL related to excuses.
You're worried that someone selling what is just over £1k 'knows something'???
well at 5p, the market thinks its an IF and a STILL..............I think the signal from Pete that ratification done and conveyer belt started for the DRC and Liberia cash to come in, will signal the move back to 6p.... and beyond..... until then, good time to fill ones boots, still might see a dip in to the 4s... but wait for Mr 25K to stop me thinks, wonder what he knows or is this a final sale of the 4p confetti..... B
Very much so. You posted "IF" and "STILL"
I asked you a direct question and you avoided it. You might be the illiterate one Foxy.
Will DRC deal be ratified, yes or no?
