I agree that fowler has done a good job in remunerating himself and his family at the expense of SHs- he tricks us every time
He could achieve a 20yr contract in DRC but it could be loss making- he will still achieve his primary goals
B. Correction, ferry of course.... :-)
Is it a ship or a ferry?…….B
Very difficult to tell.....not many trolls left on this ship at this moment of time....:-)
about a year ago.....pretending to someone else....he was one of our multi IDs...he'd put in so much work as well, and then all gone in a single post....like Philbatch...who started posting as a different person, but forgot to change the account over.
DHC certainly was a character. When was he last seen?
I miss DHC***....he was so brazen..so Trumpesque.
whichever one(s) he is these days he's much more subtle....shame.
yes, I'm sure he is at least one of the troll accounts...can't work out which one
As in Doubleheadedcoin ?
anyone know which one of our posters is double faced coin?
Maybe he has. Over the years there has always been opportunity to profit on WSG, buying low and selling high but not as a long term investment.
Lets face it, PF has done a fantastic job keeping his roll as ceo for 25 years in a company that has always been on the brink of profit but always turns a loss. He has kept many in jobs only at the expense of investors.
10p on the books could well be possible this time, enabling a few with a low average to make money. Just make sure if you see a profit, to bank it.
I too think Pete has done it this time........ but will wait for the pre xmas report ... last years xmas present was a 4p placing to clear the decks...... so will hope this years is nicer to stomach....... B
330 million shares...and my money is on yes, PF has done it this time
since yrabs changed sides i've missed the excess negativity around here...good to see a few are bringing it back
WSG started back in 1988 and run by Peter Fowler since 1996.
When listed there was initially 13.5 million shares. Today there are 219 million shares in issue having been diluted down over 30 times.
Since 2007, the company has made a grand loss of over £25m and has raised in excess of £40m.
There has allegedly been well over 50 contracts won in this time.
As with every other year, the company is now on the brink of becoming profitable. (you never know, maybe P Fower has actually done it this time).
10p plus on way.
No desperation Gibbo- relax
What’s your informed view of DRC?
Do you see any risks to parliamentary ratification?
Beyond that there are details on the contract, logistics on managing the 5 airports, short and long term, and wider considerations on risks on doing business in DRC- one of the most unstable and poorest countries in Africa- but also with potential If you are willing to put your company on the line
Thanks for your expert analysis/ thoughts- if you have any
Yes, Vander has been and always will remain a moron.
Area code is near enough to be changed to 6....then 7 to follow fairly quickly....IMHO
Enjoy the ride folks.
So funny, you can feel the desperation in Vander’s posts, trying to make a 20 year $0.5bn contract seem like a bad idea lol.
Wonder if that is the reason for the delay in new of the ratification?
WSG is now heavily dependent on DRC
New government announced April 2021
Wsg is a small piece in the security puzzle
The airports are dilapidated- what did fowler say about investment in infrastructure
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.dw.com/en/dr-congo-announces-formation-of-new-government/a-57174174
there's almost momentum now.....for now.
a couple more days like this, followed by the ratification RNS and we're off to the races.
pleased to see Tone dipping his hand into his pockets. would obviously like it to be more, but as has been stated, these realistically can't sell these shares for years. That £10k could easily be worth the best part of £40k in a year
Its the next red dot im interested in. Its due..
Nice to see directors buying though.
It's not the amount that matters it is the fact that Sir Tony has bought is a milestone. Bought and holds more now than probably all the dissenters. That's four that have now bought and as we draw closer to September. Patiently waiting on 3 news angles and will the Queens Award Day seal us any more business?
This is about inheritance tax planning- Balders is 71yrs old- and he owes a small favour to fowler
