RE: B2 gold

It would appear that the current gold price at $1345 is more or less double our all-in sustaining cost of $690. Quite a good line to use when promoting the company.

B2 gold

If they agree the terms then it will be a matter of time before they agree the full blown TO. Just my opinion. If toll mining doesn’t come through then it’s a long slug for the rest of the year. Come on POG .... keep rising !!! $1450 major resistance and if that breaks with ease then we’re flying north and it’s back to the $20-30 swings in the price !!!

Wondergoals,I am not convinced that they have finished selling.I base that on the fact that the sp thus far is showing no desire to head north.just my opinion as your opinions are yours. The compliance visit was in relation to a complaint by some of the community that the process of consultation wasnt carried out in a transparent and fair manner.part of the world bank remit is in regard to improving human rights.I said it at the time, holding a pc under heavy arms during the most violent stage of gvnt repression is not correct. The nica act is also kicking in putting more pressure on Ifc.I may be wrong but the ifc are selling !
Why do I think the vat may be looked at.in the summer I met a nicaraguan economics student.one of his criticisms was of ortega being overly generous to international companies re tax and zero vat on imported goods.Recently we have seen a change in tax royalties.it seems highly likely that vat will be adressed to me.I read recently that there is a meeting planned v soon about tax issues.if I find it I will post a link.nicaraguas economy is heading downwards again this year, nica act aims to affect loans so it is obvious that taxation will be high on the agenda.I am not saying tax increases are prohibitive.they are still very good compared to many jurisdictions, however there will be a certain ammount of uncertainty as to whether they will increase further as the crisis increases.
The reforms that helped spark the protests have recently been passed .
Lastly.yes I am invested.I am transparent with my holdings.when I sell I say, when I buy I state.presently I hold as many cnr shares as in april last year, bought between 25-30 p.currently I am hopeful of a good lift on news of toll agreement.I am a realist wg.I have no desire to lose cash so try my best to understand the risks as well as the rewards.these bbs are full of posters that only post blue sky ,unfortunately many pay the price for paying too much credence.

In fairness, the shares very well offered at the moment... you can buy much more than you can sell inside the spread. It would make sense that the IFC be the seller because hold is rising and fundamentals appear to be improving... which is wha makes it frustrating the shares are going down. Would be nice for one of the other long term holders to buy their stake off them

why do you suspect IFC still looking to offload. the large sells have stopped, no evidence.
why do you think it ties in with the compliance visit? that link says nothing. feedback I've seen from that, particularly from the community, was positive.
why do you think vat 'may well be looked at' - other than its obvious that any country with not much money is going to look at all possibilities to generate some e.g. enabling new gold asap

are you a glass half empty kind of person? are you really invested in CNR?

From memory from the interview mc mentions selling ore to the toller and what they do is up to them.all will be clearer soon hopefully.
I suspect ifc may well be still looking to offload.I also believe it probably ties in with the compliance visit

Nica act also kicking in.I read that there is a meeting to discuss taxes soon.I think that vat may well be looked at.
Nicaragua has had particularly generous tax concessions for international investors as mc has repeatedly mentioned.reasonable headroom for some rises without it being too detrimental.

Does seem to be drifting lower to me! Need some news to stop it. With gold where it is the economics of the project are looking a lot better but we need a clear funding plan to move forward and obviously the presence of a shareholder who may not be committed is not helping in the absence of news

Anyone got link to the last interview where MC talks about the toll agreement ??

....

If the seller is ifc it’s not pushing the price lower so it’s all good

If the IFC were selling they may be doing so for investment policy reasons. We need someone to take their stake off them.

Agreed tester. The key here is MC probably knows who is selling so will wait for them to clear. Gold is boooooooooming !!!!!! What a time to announce a deal with B2 tomorrow morning as gold hits the headlines.

perhaps at cross purposes here - i am agreeing with you :-) any delay to the deal with b2gold allows time for goldprice to rise, and means that CNR profits will be higher (and also makes any toll deal with b2 more attractive for them as well!) We need permits for Mestiza, America and the agreement with B2.

and in the meantime, a seller pushing the price down allows us to load up on the cheap before that deal kicks in..

Come on mark, bring home the bacon! Repeat after me - "Show us the Dore, Show use the Dore" ;-)

Tester. Why would they not sell at a higher price with gold rising ?? Any deal with B2 would involve an agreed split on the profits and if gold is higher then they BOTH make more money ! I don’t think MC will be held over a barrel at a hedged or fixed price of say -$1300 when gold could easily hit $1400 bythe end of this month. Still either way I see CNRas a sitting duck for a full blown takeover. AISC of $700 and gold touching $1400 soon .....hmmmm

Hmm yes - looks like gold is breaking out to 1400 right enough, after the break above 1321 last week. Nice.

Still - it does mean that CNR will hopefully start selling gold at a higher profit if the toll refining project kicks in with B2Gold..

Disappointing if there is still a seller in the background - L two anyone? give us a view of whats happening?

Seems like there is an ongoing seller and no buying interest at this point until any news comes so price being weighed down. Frustrating given the gold price holding where it is ...

$1325 And rising !!!! Needs to hold above this level all week to form a solid breakout. It’s now or never for the toll agreement but with gold at current levels the bank deal would also look very attractive. Looking good here !!!

This is the key. $1320 is seen as a key resistance level and a break above it will open the doors towards $1400 and for me personally that’s when gold stocks like condor will rally regardless of toll agreement or not. $1400 and above will be party time and many on here don’t need to be told how quickly the CNR sp can travel north.

Slim shady. I get it mate but atleast the proof is on the pudding and that being the permits etc etc. As I said before they could put a for sale sign up today and be sold tomorrow so I think it deserves a little more patience. Good luck.
