Pedro it is not a requirement of this board to be relentlessly positive all the time. You are not in charge and you do not need to intimidate posters this way

I am starting to feel that this board is becoming a cult, or more relevantly like a Donald Trump cabinet meeting. You must all praise the great man (DB) and the one who praises him loudest and longest is the most welcome. Those who criticise are pilloried . People are fully entitled to have negative views just as others are full entitled to have positive views. I have been on this board a long time and have never found it less satisfactory

A biotech startup . I am already invested in it but we are fund raising at the moment. Several majors courting us but it is a perilous business. But at least an industry I know - unlike mining which seems so straightforward but is so easy to get wrong. But notwithstanding my concerns about info I still think La India will be a winner and DB and his team are fundamentally solid . I wish I could spend an hour with him to to advise him on his PR!

Alas my £500,000 is going elsewhere. The shifting sands do not give me sufficient confidence. But still have just shy of 10 m shares which I shall keep until next year

Generally good I thought. As I predicted no announcement in H1 about an acquisition so no surprise there. What perplexed me was his answers about AISC. The company should have a real grip on this, at current material prices. His answer that it maybe between his estimate and that of the brokers was very odd. These are huge differences. Why did he not just say they are wrong? So now you can all shout at me for being negative in the usual way

Within the last 2 weeks I have been told I am lazy for not doing research by Mr lickAce because all the drill results had already been published and I did not realise this (he was incorrect as we can now see) and accused of making things up by Mr Carefree - who is also incorrect but will not apologise I am sure,

In February the interview in South Africa DB said we were 50% built. That seems to be the figure being used now. Have I misunderstood? Any thoughts?

So Mr rude man Liqmyace- there is now an answer to my question about when we will get drill results. In H2 2026. Also not the lab is not up and running until then also so samples currently being sent to Canada

Simms you used to say that every price rise was due to your mystery buyer. Could that not be the case today?

If gold stays at this level MTL should do very well. I don’t see a rise in the gold price as a key ingredient for this investment. Still unclear to me why we are sub 15 but just a demonstration that investing is not easy and requires patience

Not sure we are in the Goldilocks zone. With a share price less than 9 months a go I would stay we are still firmly in the Sakura zone

Just to clarify - as I get a lot of grief for this- I am heavily invested. That is a vote of confidence in DB and his team. I assume they are building the mine competently and will meet the goals they have set themselves in terms of production. I have no reason to doubt this.

What I do not like is DB’s salesman like communication style. Talking up ABRA and Dupax and then dropping them so softly that once does not even hear them hitting the ground. All l learned about Dupax I learned from members of this board not the company an I don’t like that. A personal view

I have not sold any shares in the last 6 months and have a further £0.5 million to invest here. I have held off investing most of it pending the promised announcement in H1.

Cuckold I don’t remember giving any advice. Although I enjoyed success in biotech I am a terrible investor in precious metals. Heavily invested in MTL . Be afraid . Be very afraid

I don’t think you are right about can’t shareholders being bitter. I thought it was a pretty fair price. There were a few people moaning but it was an open market transaction at above the share price at the time. Moreover raising money was tough and there was a risk that Ortega would pull the licences. I can’t see why anyone should be bitter- disappointed perhaps but not bitter.

As we see even today there are people who think investments in mines will transform their wealth and they always risk disappointment
