Harts, why do you say "1000 bopd is more realistic"? My understanding is that Brockham is similar to HH, so I'll be happy with 300 from a slant vertical well, and can wait for a horizontal to give 1000. In both companies by the way.

I agree Wolf. 500 bopd absolute bare minimum flowed sustainably. That would give enough money to make the company self funding instead of rinsing PI’s every 4-6 months. 1000 bopd is more realistic and anything above that is a bonus. Balcombe slugged at 3000 bopd but yes was only flowed over a short period of time and it is a horizontal well.

People are here for riches. The numbers have been banded in 1000s, this is star wars... 300 is not far off what brockham use to produce. If you want a rerate its going to have to impress the market. 300 and I wont be here.

Personally I expect more. This is the aim casino, no one is interested in paltry and it would be crazy to risk investment for such little reward. It would be different if lidsey was producing that but not main asset.

Wolf, why a disaster? Wouldn't that be pretty good - prove the flows with horizontals and Balcombe to come?

Thanks Baits but I think Brockham is also vertical (slant). I know there are some differences to HH though.

Yanis, I said a particular thread was schoolyard. Hoping in my small way to contribute to some more grown up discussions, if others are inclined.

Subito, sensible post but I've got a different perspective. Seems to me that there is too much technical smoke and mirrors on here - hasn't prevented the share price from tanking over the past 6 months and - presumably - a lot of peeps sitting on losses.
I prefer to concentrate on the business stuff. How much oil is expected to flow, assuming they stop the water? For how long and what drop-off rate? How much £ have Angus got? What's the forward plan? Be good to see more of those discussions on here.

Brockham is an horizontal well whereas HH is vertical. We expect quite a few more barrels a day from an horizontal well that had a 200 meter perf job done on it,HH has about a 30 meter perf job, but who knows we have to see where we are at after the water issue is resolved.

BarnDoors, if you think that the posts here are immature ... “schoolyard” as you put it, why are you asking perceived children for advise.

I've been watching this site for ages. Must say todays posts on long '6p' thread a bit schoolyard, so wanted to ask something on a more business-like basis. What are expectations for flow rates from Brockham and on what basis - RNS, company interviews, similar sites etc.
UKOG seem to have settled at about 300bpd from Kimmeridge layers before focussing on Portland. Is this a realistic benchmark for Brockham?

Sam, my expectation too. I believe that the SP will significantly appreciate and get a positive bias on successful water isolation. Roughly one more week.

Surprising that SP is not already moving up, COS for water isolation is quite high. The market is waiting for positive confirmation I suppose, waiting for the new team to prove themselves - Vonk has done big damage to market trust.

Personally, I believe that the new team will be successful ... hence my constant buying.

Yanis I mentioned this earlier, we have only eight working days till the 8th of May which is stage one completion date, so I am expecting angus to announce the completion of re-perforation on Monday morning then they will have 4/5 more working days to relog and isolate the water zone.

I can see the share price doubling once Angus announces the completion of water zone isolation and even before the start of stage 2.

My buying was decided yesterday after the RNS. We should be moving upwards from here, there should be a series of updates (very likely positive) from here on. I think the COS of isolating the water is very high.

All we know is that a lorry took something to Brockham and then came out again. Some time ago another lorry took some well testing equipment to somewhere else. I don't know about others but I wouldn't base my buying and selling on that alone. So, nothing to see here folks.
