RNS seem few and far between which is slightly disappointing. News of potential sale discussions and updates have gone quiet what are peoples thoughts on what next for Amur?

I'm not sure, in this current market, comparisons like these are particularly useful. Add to that the differences between the two projects and it makes any sort of worthwhile assessment of their respective similarities/differences difficult (and that goes for in a normal market as well).

"well I stand corrected."
And so you should, if you look more closely as you say, your post would be less spurious.
well I stand corrected...
lowest close for EUA in the last 3 months was 3rd March @7.1p... today they're about 28% up on that at 9p
lowest close for AMC in the last 3 months was 4th March @1p... today they're about 49% up on that at 1.49p
AMC wins... I guess on first reflection the grass sometimes looks greener... but when you look more closely its not
EUA still has a GAP at 4p to close - sound familiar??
Which EUA are you looking at because I don't see that.
TDT
Any views?
There isn't anything interesting to write about. It would be better if we waited until Ukraine was at peace. For any news about Russia or Ukraine, you'd be better off reading the EUA board.
Interesting that they are looking to China to divest their interests in Russia, hopefully could be an option for us.
surprised no posts on here today
Thanks TDT
The Troll got booted off so the thread went with him..
They have been removed. Why I don't know.

Anyone see that posts since TDT's post at 17.57 on the 16th are missing or is it something wrong with my computer?

I don’t think China or India feel particularly bothered by what’s going on in Ukraine and these two countries have 40% of the world’s population and both are resource hungry. On top of that a local considering buying Kun Mamie is not going to be deterred either so yes I think your statement is rather stupid.
TDT
Shares will not go anywhere until the war is over and the world are back trading with Russia, how long will it take? Putin just doesn’t get it , the west isn’t the problem , he is , why are most his neighbours wanting to joint nato ? Because he’s the bully , there all shatting themselves that they are next in the list , or is this another stupid statement
OK R thanks, thought as much. Wishful thinking eh!

Sorry I read that and wondered if there was a follow up link. He is only repeating a very old story saying Amur is in discussions.
I wish it’s true but he’s not said anything.

SirLoyn,
Given that we are now in Q2 RY's update is fairly timely.
Worth remembering that with all the talk of a sale it would be easy for RY to lose focus. The fact that he is dealing with the potential sanctions and the rouble issue, for me at least, indicates that he is well aware of the immediate risk and is endeavouring to mitigate those risks. Fair play to him for that.
Agree with your comments as to what RY has left out.
RY needs to keep progressing on two fronts and If he pulls the sale off at £100m + well done, otherwise continue on.
Garf
There is a reason why RY issues vague, ambiguous RNS's, he doesn't want to be held to account, never mind 50 shades of grey, RY deals with 500 shades of grey, he will not to give clear insight, he will not give clear updates, and when he provides timelines, he misses them by a mile!!
Whether AMC get sold, sold for £100m or £500m, or not at all, it doesn't and won't make any difference to RY or to the BOD, they haven't invested hard earned cash into AMC, for them, its a cash cow to maintain their lifestyles

Lucando : "Why update the FAQs if a sale is going to happen?"
Good point, all I can think is RY has nothing else to do, so why not, probably took about an hour so not a bad hourly rate circa £100k ! Never ceases to amaze me how almost every RNS is ambiguous and mostly a non event, maybe it's just a way of saying we're still alive?
On the carting front: Although the angle has levelled off a bit, still inside a rising channel, would be nice to see a solid green candle into the weekend, or next week breaking out of the top. For a while I was thinking a retest of the 0.98 low was on the cards but if it remains in the channel it may not now happen. Quite difficult to call at the moment as some trading platforms still won't let you buy AMC, only sell, so the chart is a bit skewed.

With the exception of 25 Jan '22, I cannot remember the last time AMC issued a RNS that resulted in an uplift in the share price............................ The wait for such an RNS continues.
