New Contract Award
Electronic Countermeasures System
Contract value $645,000 USD
Westminster Group Plc ('Westminster' or 'the Group'), the AIM listed supplier of system solutions and products to the security, defence, fire protection and safety markets worldwide, is pleased to announce that it has secured a new contract for the supply of a sophisticated countermeasures system valued around $645,000
The contract was secured by the Group's international division following a selective tender process with a national government in the Far East.
Under the contract, Westminster will provide specialised electronic countermeasures equipment compliant with export control requirements. The contract will be completed in the first half of 2011.
Further information is restricted due to the classified nature of the project.
Commenting on the contract award Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of Westminster Group, said:
