Proposed Dividend Timetable

Further to the announcement of its interim results for the six months ended 31 May 2008, WH Ireland is pleased to announce the timetable for the proposed payment of the interim dividend of 1 pence per share. As previously announced, WH Ireland is once again offering shareholders a scrip dividend alternative in respect of the interim dividend.

Expected Timetable of Events

Shares quoted 'ex dividend'	27 August
Record date	29 August
Posting of forms of election to receive scrip dividend	5 September
Final date for receipt of forms of election	26 September
Payment date	10 October

It is anticipated that further details of the scrip dividend alternative will be sent to shareholders in line with the timetable set out above.
