Transense Technologies PLC06 October 2005 Transense Technologies plc6 October 2005 Transense Technologies plc - Placing Transense Technologies plc ('Transense' or 'the Company') announces that it hastoday entered into an arrangement, conditional inter alia on admission, to place2,650,000 new ordinary shares of 10 pence each ('New Ordinary Shares') at 85pence per share ('the Placing'), to raise approximately £2.25 million beforeexpenses. The New Ordinary Shares represent approximately 4.9 per cent. of the Company'sexisting issued share capital, and will rank pari passu in all respects with allother existing issued Transense ordinary shares. The placing price represents a discount of approximately 4.8 per cent to themid-market price of 89.25 pence when the placing was arranged. Application hasbeen made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to AiM. It is expectedthat admission will take place on 13 October 2005. The net proceeds of the Placing are expected to be approximately £2.16 millionand will be used to strengthen the Company's balance sheet.
