Transense Technologies plc (the "Company") was notified on 19 September 2013 that David Kleeman, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, had on 17 September 2013 transferred 93,331 ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company for nil consideration, to his grandchildren. David Kleeman will continue to hold the shares as a bare trustee to the nominee accounts designated for his grandchildren.

Following the transfer, David Kleeman continues to have a beneficial and non-beneficial interest in 3,469,930 Ordinary Shares, representing 1.3% of the Company's total voting rights. 2,913,332 of these Ordinary Shares will be held beneficially with the balance of 556,598 Ordinary Shares being held non- beneficially.
