Tasty PLC25 May 2007 TASTY PLC ISSUE OF EQUITY Tasty plc ("Tasty" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that further to itsannouncement on 17 May 2007 the Company has finalised the issue, subject toadmission, of 2,727,273 new ordinary shares of 10 pence each ("New Shares") at aprice of 110 pence per share (the "Placing Price") to raise £3.0million, beforeexpenses ("the Placing"). The Placing Price represents a discount of 16.7 per cent to the closing middlemarket price of the Company on 23 April 2007 (being the date prior to thecommencement of the placing process) and a discount of 35.3 per cent to theclosing middle market price of the Company on 16 May 2007. (being the date priorto the release of the announcement of the Placing by the Company). The NewShares will represent approximately 10.5 per cent. of the current issued sharecapital of the Company. The Placing is subject to admission of the New Shares to trading on AIM which isexpected to occur on 1 June 2007. The Placing is non-underwritten. The netproceeds from the Placing will be used by the Company to accelerate theexpansion of its restaurants. The Company has been informed that Samuel Kaye, an Executive Director, and AdamKaye, a Non-Executive Director, each purchased 454,545 New Shares in thePlacing. Following this purchase, Samuel Kaye and Adam Kaye have a holding of6,407,763 ordinary shares each, with each holding representing 22.30 per cent.of the Company's enlarged issued ordinary share capital. Keith Lassman, the Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, has also purchased9,090 New Shares in the Placing. Following this purchase, Keith Lassman has aholding of 39,072 ordinary shares, representing 0.14 per cent. of the Company'senlarged issued ordinary share capital. The Company has also been informed that Philip Kaye, a major shareholder,purchased 181,818 New Shares in this Placing.
