SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC Marine AIS Class B Distributor Agreements The Directors of Software Radio Technology plc ("SRT") are pleased to announcethat SRT has signed three Marine AIS distributor agreements.SRT's strategy in AIS is to be the provider of the industry standard technologyplatform for all AIS products. Critical to this strategy is the signing oflocal distributors who have established contacts with local buyers andauthorities and are therefore able to establish preferential access to thesemarkets.SRT has signed distribution contracts with the following companies:Sevenstar Electronics - a UK based company which will use SRT's technology tocreate its own AIS Class B product. SRT will receive an initial fee ofUS$50,000 plus ongoing royalties on each product sold.CSI - a South Korean based company, which has already installed the nationalKorean AIS network and is now seeking to supply the domestic Korean market, forwhich AIS Class B is currently being mandated.Atlas Communications - a UAE based company which specialises in theinstallation and operation of communication networks in the Middle East.
