US$280,000 AtoN Order Received
SRT is pleased to announce that it has received an order worth US$280,000 for its recently launched AtoN product.
The order is for the OEM version of the AtoN product and is expected to be delivered to the customer within the current financial year. The products will be deployed on buoys operating in an existing network located in the Middle East.
AtoNs are used to enhance electronic navigation (e-nav) and now that networks are widespread and an increasing number of vessels are being fitted with AIS transceivers, their deployment is expected to grow substantially in the future.
Simon Tucker said: "We are delighted to receive this unexpected order. Our new AtoN product family has been well received by the market due to its full compliance and certification to international standards whilst also being small, with very low power consumption.
