AGM Trading Statement and Result of AGM
Solid State plc (AIM:SSP), the AIM listed supplier of battery products, specialist electronic components and industrial/rugged computers to the electronics market, is pleased to announce that all resolutions put to the Annual General Meeting held at 11am today were duly passed. In addition, the Chairman made the following statement:
"The Company is pleased to report that trading in the year to date has been very satisfactory, with trading significantly ahead of the equivalent period last year. The order book remains at record levels and the prospects for the remainder of the year look good. Longer term, although the order pipeline is currently encouraging, the Board is mindful of the broader economic environment and the impact this may have."
